None of their quarter, or semi-finals were lucky, they played under pressure and many didn't believe that they will win, especially when they played against Chelsea and Manchester City, it was a big surprise they won under the die minutes. When Manchester City won the Premier League, nobody call it luck because even Sallah thought they were winning until the last minutes.
So it's not wrong if some fans call Madrid the king of Comeback. Madrid did everything with great tactics and focus. luck can be said by many opposing fans. although I don't like Madrid as champions. I still admit that Madrid is a group of players with an extraordinary mentality.
Comebacks are usually carried out by a group of players who have a winning mentality, only a small number of teams are able to make a comeback, Real Madrid have proven that they are the best. When the position is losing, the mentality of Real Madrid players is not easily broken, they are still eager to catch up with the opposing team. Real Madrid comeback was able to take them to the UCL podium, it must be admitted Real Madrid players have the mental steel to achieve the championship.

Blame it on Sallah who said that they had a score to settle, he was having so much confidence in himself that they can do Real Madrid a quick win in the Champions League and the match was settled amicably without much fight, just that the Referee was overlooking some yellow cards.

well i wouldn't blame Mohammed Sallah here because they never give him any chance to showcase at all, you can imagine two players on him whenever he handles the ball, the blame i will put is on the entire team of Liverpool, they have the best opportunity to make a score at the first half as they dominated the match, has the highest possession then what else could they want rather than to cease an opportunity for a first score, they attempted quite alright but not enough as expected and that was the only opportunity they had by the second half time, they were already eager to force a goal through but it's already too late.

Indeed, there are no surprises in the Champions League competition this season. maybe only Villareal became a surprise team but unfortunately Villareal was defeated by Liverpool in the semifinals. Real madrid became the team that dominated the Champions League in the past few seasons and Real madrid has always made history in the Champions League this season. Manchester city and PSG will probably be the strongest candidates in the Champions League next season because this team is very ambitious to win the Champions League Trophy.
it would have been very nice if Villareal reached the final
but he would still have lost with Real Madrid
it would be just for the pleasure, prestige and money of the UCL final
I like hard-fought tournaments, those where you know who wins is boring and sad
Don't be surprised that Villarreal would have given Real Madrid a tough tournament final experience, even tougher than what we saw in the finals between Liverpool and Real Madrid, not for the money Villarreal could have fought with their best foot just to make history. They would have come with the mindset to win the game not to become second just for the money.

I am not so sure about Real Madrid having a tougher fight against Villareal. But it would have been something amazing to see Real Madrid playing against Villarreal in the Champions League final. Imagine Real Madrid losing that match.

And I also agree that Villarreal would have played that match to win because their being in the finals was already a little surprising.
I really don't think there were any surprises in this Champions League except for Bayern Munich getting beaten by Villareal. This Champions League was a little unexpected, to be honest, but not surprising in my opinion.

I think Liverpool was over hyped in the championship finals game, as many football fans were already rooting for Liverpool win despite knowing how Liverpool performance have been through out the league. Real Madrid have held the trophy for a long and are better experience at the final than Liverpool.

Well, I believe Liverpool played well but was really unlucky. Mohammed Salah had a few chances to score but the goalkeeper of Real Madrid was really good. And for those who are criticizing Mohammed Salah because of him not being able to score, I am quite sure that they don't know what they are talking about. And I don't think it was overhyped considering the fact that it was a Champions League final.

They blamed one player for dissatisfaction with the team they relied on not winning in the champions final match, that accusations of blaming Salah were very wrong because he had brought Liverpool to compete in the champions final, So I still appreciate the Liverpool team even though luck has not been on their side for champions game this season.
I don't think anyone is to blame because every player from every team has tried to do their best to win the Champions League.
Regarding winning and losing, it is only natural because without a losing team, the winning team will also not be seen, besides Liverpool also lost with just one goal and that is a very extraordinary thing because Liverpool are able to build attacks well even if there is no result.

i think we cannot blame any of the players; it is common for football players to express confidence before major finals; and i disagree with you when you say the tie was settled without much fight. it was an intense game with mane strucking the post, and salah forcing saves from Courtois on numerous occasions such that Courtois was awarded the man of the match. It was an equal game, with Real Madrid having the better performance and a trophy to show for it

Real Madrid played extremely well. There is no other way to put it. They deserved it with the way they have performed from the group stage up to the finals. Liverpool was a worthy contender and also played really well but Madrid was the better team. It was an interesting and exciting game. Congratulations to the Champions Real Madrid.

I agree with that, everything they have gone through this season against PSG, Chelsea and also Man City cannot be separated from their mentality which is very extraordinary.
Real Madrid is a team with a big name, although the players have not shined so much this season but the opponents they will face have to look at the big name Real Madrid with a little nervousness. they are the kings of UCL, look how calm they are when they are down and also when they play in the final.

Luck will not come repeatedly. Remember when they played against PSG, Chelsea and Man City. I think their patterns are almost similar. Did not have the ball and relied on counterattacks and effective finishing.
No one is lucky that Anceloti has thought about it all, the timing of the game being an addition to that success. I also don't agree madrid won because of luck. Their players have been mentally prepared and play more effectively.

It does seem to be lucky at times but I believe Real Madrid really played well and deserved to win the Champions League. They have made some really good comebacks against PSG and Manchester City. And they have made it possible with a squad that is not very strong I have to say.

Even in the finals, it felt like they are just lucky to win but I believe they defended really well and tactically even though they did not have a very good defensive lineup. Honestly, they had a few more chances to score in the finals but they have won the match and that is enough. The way they have come to the final I believe that deserved it.

People keep saying that Liverpool were unlucky to lose, as they were the better side. Honestly, they weren't unlucky, they were wasteful. Real Madrid were more clinical. How can you explain 20+ shots and had zero unconverted to the few from Real Madrid that converted one. To me I believe playing well only means you emerge victorious. They were playing for a trophy and the better side had to walk home with the trophy. Because in such a match, nobody checks if you are a better team. Its all about results, even if you are not playing at the best you need to win. That is what matters and not how well you play.

It's always the same teams that win this tournament lately. An odd duck is actually PSG along with Manchester City. Both have been regarded as one of the best teams in the world for years. Especially when Messi came to PSG. Then they were the top favorites to win the tournament. However, it goes wrong year after year for both teams. When would 1 of these 2 teams be able to break the negative spiral? I hope for City they get a top striker. Levandovsky eg.

Who doesn't want to win champions league? Every team wants to win but in UCL, Real Madrid is always favorite. Not only this season, Real Madrid is king in UCL and they play really well. At this stage, they have some young players also. I hope another good season is waiting tor Real Madrid.
I think Real Madrid this season has been phenomenal.  This season Real Madrid is not so seeded, many people are pessimistic.  But thanks to Carlo Ancelotti's cold hands, Real Madrid was able to look extraordinary, El Real successfully buried the leading teams to be able to win the championship.  We can see how they are doing this season in the champions league, it's really amazing.  Real Madrid still have a big chance to add trophies this year, they will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the European Super Cup and Club World Cup.

Many have had many complaints and disagreements about the way Real Madrid won and I think that Real Madrid scored the only goal necessary to win and that is what is required, the one who scores the goals is the one who wins, luck fctor? maybe, but there are a lot of teams looking for that luck and they don't.

This is normal. It is the team with the most Champions Leagues by far the second. Add to this the fact that winning the Champions League has a snowball effect, as it will automatically bring in more revenue than it already had, and Madrid will be favourites in any upcoming season. A lot would have to change for that not to be the case.
Next season Real Madrid will still be a strong candidate in the race for the title of any League because consistency and direction from a very experienced coach has always been the key to the success of the Real Madrid team in every match in the League. So for this season Real Madrid deserve to party to celebrate the victory they have achieved and also for next season, Real Madrid will also try to return for the same.
Real Madrid won the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League with their hard work starting from the group stage and being able to thwart big teams from France and England who have extraordinary quality so they deserve to lift the UCL trophy.

In La Liga they are a little easier because their toughest rivals such as Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have experienced some obstacles that make it difficult for them to catch Real Madrid points.

Next season in the UCL Real Madrid will experience difficulties because other teams such as Liverpool, AC Milan, PSG, Manchester City and Barcelona will prepare for the need to win the UCL.
Several teams that qualify for the champions league next season are now starting to make improvements to their squad, many teams from various leagues in europe have purchased players to strengthen the skuad in facing domestic competitions and the champions league, chelsea, barcelona, PSG, manchester city, juventus and Munich is unlikely to silent after their failure this season in the Champions League, I think the competition next season will be more competitive than this season, because many of the leagues in Europe have sent their representatives to champions league with  majority of whom are big clubs and have more qualified squads.
The teams that should be of particular concern are Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City and AC Milan. That doesn't mean the other teams that qualify can be underestimated. Teams like Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City are eager to win the UEFA Champions League, because from season to season they always fail. Next season, the two clubs are very enthusiastic about winning the trophy from Real Madrid.

Liverpool is making so much noise. Benzima recently stated that Liverpool is acting as if they have already won the Champions league finals. But he received several several backlash from Liverpool fans and even from some of the club's legends. Liverpool is in a better position to win this Champions league. They have the best players in Europe and their strikers are the most dependable. The Liverpool defense is second to known and Klopp is technically sound. But in the game of Soccer anything can happen. Sometimes winning in soccer is a function of the combination of quality and/or luck. Hence, Real Madrid cannot be written -off. They have the quality and experience to win this trophy.
Actually this does not need to be responded to by Benzema because it will trigger a strong reaction from some Liverpool fans. I think it's only natural that both teams can claim they will win the Champions League Trophy this season. But this illegitimate confession will certainly be the subject of ridicule for Their own Team if they fail to get the Trophy. Benzema this season It's quite shining with Real Madrid in both Laliga and the Champions League, but can Benzema bring Madrid to the Champions League Trophy?

Well, it was proven that Benzema did lead Real Madrid to victory, I know that Liverpool has many fans and some are very radical, this makes it possible for Benzema to have a whole team, he carried him on his shoulder and he made them win without a doubt. For this it was always necessary to have maximum concentration, I would also like to point out that Ancelotti had a lot to do with it, many criticized him and made it clear that he was not capable of taking Madrid to the final, with City it was where they distrusted the most, I did say, if they beat City then they are champions.

Many have had many complaints and disagreements about the way Real Madrid won and I think that Real Madrid scored the only goal necessary to win and that is what is required, the one who scores the goals is the one who wins, luck fctor? maybe, but there are a lot of teams looking for that luck and they don't.

Real Madrid only had 3 shots on target in which  one was offside what else will you call such win if not luck?
I find it very disturbing that we still have people who think the 2021/2022 UCL Campaign for Real Madrid was just based on luck  Roll Eyes

You are probably the same people who kept saying that Real Madrid won 3 UCL titles in a row because of luck. I get it, the teams you backed didn't win, but It does not mean the other team was just "Lucky"
That's right. Actually, I also feel disturbed by the notion of lucky at Real Madrid. Why do they always say that Real Madrid is always lucky when they win games? Even since against PSG, Chelsea, Man City, even in the final against Liverpool? Is it true that Real Madrid doesn't have good skills so they only rely on luck? It seems that Real Madrid doesn't qualify for a big match. Whereas, how can luck happen in a row?  Cheesy
How can there be still many people who say about luck again and again? haha so funny they are.
I wonder whether they forget about who Real Madrid is, how many victories have Real Madrid in UCL, how big is Real Madrid, and how the performance of Real Madrid is. They said that with just 3 shots, Real Madrid could score because of luck. They actually should ask Liverpool, why with those many shots, they couldn't score even once, do they mean Liverpool is not lucky?
I really wonder if a football is about uck and unlucky?  Grin
I think that both Real Madrid and Liverpool have struggled with their best performance, and the result showed that Real Madrid is the winner, no matter what, it is based on their experience, too.
