It is really good to see that Real Madrid are playing as a real team now.
You mean they haven't been playing a Real team before?
So what happens if they beat PSG. Does PSG suddenly turn “unreal”?

I mean that Real Madrid haven't ever been this much good since Ronaldo left the team. Now in this season, they are showing incredible performances in the La Liga and the Champions League both. It is like they are back in their old days.  Smiley  And this is really good for me truthfully. I want to see Real Madrid playing like this and being this much determined. And I can't even imagine how much powerful they will be in case they manage to sign Mbappe and Haaland both or even one of them.

I totally agree with your opinion, it even seems to me that they are playing better now than when Ronaldo was their player.
Having a big star like Ronaldo in the team is not always a guarantee of a good result and success, as Juve and Manchester United could see.
What is much more important is team spirit and team play.
After all, Benzema has been in Ronaldo's shadow for a long time and now he has shown how good a striker and that he is and a real replacement for him.

Liverpool have a tough draw against Inter actually. Maybe Inter aren't one of the favourite teams of the title but they are still a dangerous team. Their performance in this season also is very good as we can understand from their place in the Serie A too. They aren't doing bad in the Champions League also which should be enough to be a warning to Liverpool. But I still expect Liverpool to eliminate them.

For another starting match between Man City and Sporting, I bet Man City will win the match, exactly they deserve for this, moreover, they played very well so far in every match.

Sporting is a very young and inexperienced team in the Champions League. Despite being a well organized group, it will be very difficult for them to get a good result with Man City.

I won't say that Man City will have an easier time, but they should have no difficulty in winning both games against Sporting.

10.00 rate is really high for Psg. I can bet on that odds too. In my opinion, City or Psg are two teams that can win this trophy. Of course, other teams also have possibilities. Still, I see these two teams as more favorites than the others.
Around 6 weeks again the match will start again on Feb 16.
The match between PSG and Real Madrid will become a very exciting first match to meet. I actually like Real Madrid enough so far. But seeing the opponent is PSG, I have to admit that PSG has a chance and also a greater possibility to win the match against Real Madrid.
However, if they can just draw, this is really wow. Wouldn't this be interesting? Is it possible?  Grin

yeah, exactly,Madrid is really good this season, the connection, team spirit, and the winning mindset that they have is really amazing.
Ronaldo left and they seemed to be a shadow of their selves, but now,it's now very clear how good the Madrid team is,doing very well in both the Champions league and the Lalliga, and if care is not taken, they might get to the final of the champions league.

Well these odds are to say the least misleading. How can you value PSG at near 10.00 as an odd to win the Champions League when they have both Messi and Neymar in the same team and let us not talk about the other players.I know they have not won it yet and they lack the experience but personally I am going to bet on them a small amount to win the Champions League, they are the dream team now and their chances are really high to win the Champions this year.
I am going to bet maybe 0.001 or if I am in the mood 0.01 Bitcoin on them, most likely 0.001 as that is my mining reward for just two-three days of work.

Ajax's performance has been really impressive in the Champions League so far. The group stage was just perfect for them. To be honest, I expected Dortmund to end the group as the leader before the games started. And Ajax would have ended as the second. However, Dortmund were even eliminated from the group stage.  Grin  And Ajax showed a spectacular performance in each one of their games. And now, their opponent seems like Benfica. I think that Benfica don't have a big opportunity to advance. It is the case for Ajax to be more precise. I think that Ajax will beat them in both games and qualify for the quarter finals.

Inter - Liverpool seems to be another interesting draw to me. Liverpool are a few steps ahead of Inter in terms of strength and performance now. Maybe Liverpool are not the leader in their league like Inter are but this doesn't show that Inter are better. I believe that the PL is a tougher league in the first place. And we all witnessed how each team played in the group stage here. Unless we see a surprise until then, Liverpool will stay as the favourite.
Liverpool is definitely the favorite here, and they have high chances of winning Inter. Although, Inter might surprise us. But, I think Liverpool squad are way more stronger compared to that of Inter. But, Liverpool shouldn't expect an easy winning because the match will surely be tough as Inter won't want to lose. And the game is likely to win draw.

However, Liverpool's performance in the Group stage made it clearly that they have intentions of winning the Champion League trophy this season.

Balance matters. In my opinion, in Real Madrid now it is ideal or close to ideal. The management competently conducts the rotation and such a situation (which happened in the past) when several players belong to the same generation at once and they are in urgent need of replacement is not expected.
I agree with what you said, Madrid at the moment the quality of the players and the balance is even and even now I feel they are a different team from the past that was synonymous with los galacticos.
they currently prioritize their young players and this is quite good because rotation is the most important thing.
how they are currently managing is pretty good.
Modric and Kross are not young anymore but they are backed up with quite young players because there are some good players there.
Besides that, at the back, Marcelo, who is no longer young, has started to rotate with Mendy there.
Don't forget the front line, which now has Vinicius and Asensio.

Real Madrid's management has become much smarter since the era of the galacticos. Those were funny times and the "team of 7 captains" forever remained in history, but huge debts remained after it. Now Real is much smarter and the young stars have about a billion in compensation and the club is protected financially very well.
it will be history for sure and it will be very difficult to see a team like that again in this era I think Cheesy
It was a scary era when you saw the Real Madrid squad at that time.
on the other hand they are currently almost the opposite because indeed they currently like young players but of course this is very good because madrid now has very good strength and progress for the future

The value of the Champions League is that regular successful performance in it gives a lot of money. Real Madrid are the first in the rankings and receive the largest share of the pool, which is distributed among the clubs depending on their regular performance in the league. Winning the Champions League this year will be incredibly difficult for Real Madrid, but I will certainly hope so. As for La Liga, in my opinion the competition is already over there.
I still think that the competition in La Liga is by no means over, despite the current advantage of Real Madrid in the standings over other rivals. As this advantage was formed following the results of the first round, when all the main competitors were in distress in terms of the game and, accordingly, in terms of results, so this advantage may dissolve by the end of the season. The example of Atletico Madrid last season will not let me lie Wink Although, of course, if we compare the situation with the Champions League, then in La Liga Real Madrid has a much more undeniable advantage, but in the Champions League Real Madrid is definitely not the main favorite.

In theory, anything is possible, I agree. But now the stage of the tournament is when there are fewer and fewer matches before the end, so if the distance between the rivals does not decrease, it actually increases. You cannot win 6 points if there is only one game left to play. I do not perceive Sevilla as a serious competitor, and the bookmakers do not perceive Atlético and Barcelona - as you can see from the odds:

Real Madrid     1.14
Seville             6.80
Atletico Madrid 20.50
Barcelona        25,80

In my opinion, City, Bayern, and Real Madrid are the contenders for the UCL title. Real seem like they have found back their rhythm after a shaky start to the season and City and Bayern play really good team-oriented attacking game which I love.

Real Madrid's midfield has aged quite a bit. All 3 of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro are above 30 but I dont think age will play a big role over here as Modrid, even at this age is still one of the best midfielders in the world.
I don't know how the Manchester City team play, but it doesn't seem that strong to me
with PSG he took a goal at home
with RB Leipzig he lost, and I don't think he is a super team
I don't know, but I repeat I don't know him as a team

I also think that ManCity is one of the big favorites to win the champions league title. At the moment they have more than 20 people of the club that are in quarantine or tested positive for covid, including their coach guardiola but there is still enough time until the playoff round of the champions league starts. Yes it is true that ManCity lost against Leipzig but that was only because they were already qualified for the next round and therefore they were not playing with their best team on that day. I think this year covid also plays a big role in who will win the champions league. If you have a lot of players that can not compete because they are tested positive then you have a massive disadvantage obviously.

Paris Saint-Germain 9.95

Ajax 15.00

Real Madrid 17.00

Surprisingly, even Ajax is rated higher than Real. I know Ajax is having a fantastic season, but I think it still has to prove that it can play well even against top clubs. Interestingly, Chelsea and Liverpool are close by, just like in the EPL.

I think Ajax position is due to the upcoming round.

They will play against Benfica, a team that is currently going through a complicated period with the change of coach and far from their opponents in the domestic league.
And Real Madrid will play against PSG, who have a greater chance of winning.

All these factors help Ajax have a higher probability than Real Madrid.

Yes, maybe this is so, but Real has a chance to win (it seems to me) no less than PSG, while there is such a huge difference between them. Ajax does have an easier opponent and given how they made it through the group stage (6 wins out of 6 matches), the likelihood of Ajax winning is very high. I hope that they will go as far as possible - when the same pool of teams competes for the championship it is very boring.

Manchester City and Bayern are indeed the favorites of the Champions League, but Real Madrid are not even in the top five contenders in terms of bookmakers:

Manchester City FC 3.80

Bayern Munich 4.65

Liverpool 6.05

Chelsea 7.60

Paris Saint-Germain 9.95

Ajax 15.00

Real Madrid 17.00

The odds are like that right now, probably because of the opponent they are playing. Trust me, if Real Madrid beat PSG and go to the next round, the odds will consequently change, so to me, they mean nothing.

The Champions League is considered by many to be the proof of Real Madrid. They are the ones who won the test the most.
That's why they usually give a lot of value to this competition, even if for that they have to do without the internal championship.

Now, with a good advantage in the domestic competition, they have all the conditions to give everything in the Champions League.

It is very interesting honestly. Because Chelsea have a better odd than PSG just because they are the last champions in the CL. And Ajax are favoured by bookmakers even more than Real Madrid. I get that Ajax have been really awesome so far. Their performance in the group stage was just extraordinary surely. But this still doesn't mean that they are better than Real Madrid. If we somehow see a draw between them, I strongly believe that Real Madrid would eliminate them.
It's because we have some good hype around PSG and in reality Chelsea is much better than PSG on ground, and they can advance in better way for rest of competition here I am feeling Ajax is also having some good chance with some very good and quality players their next match is against Benfica which is having not good time.

With Manchester City and Bayern are always bookies most favorite teams around Champions League but this time again most chances these both teams are not going to have better results in presence of Liverpool, Chelsea, Ajax and Real Madrid because most chances we will have winner from these four teams for next title as well.
