PSG at some point were cheering among them that they're playing so good and most likely will score 2nd goal but reality hit them up and City scored the equalizer and from there on , City was a beast and managed to score the 2nd goal. However, PSG had some chances to make a draw but when you have so many individual players, you can't win games under pressure. For me Messi has fallen so much that I barely know who that player it ....but on the same time , I can't say the same about Ronaldo who is a beast at 36 years old.
For me, PSG is just not right with the coach, because basically the squad that PSG has is very guarantee for a team that is respected in this era. Pochettino really couldn't bring together the star players at PSG, so implementing any strategy still didn't produce good results. But after all, winning and losing for these two teams didn't change any of their standings until the end, so last night's match was only risking prestige.
Despite PSG's poor strategy, Manchester City plays such beautiful football. It can't be hoped that Man City will sit for PSG to wine them again, you have to perform. They were dominant throughout. With Pochettino in charge of PSG, the club has been terrible, but losing to Manchester City isn't a big deal because they won against them as well. Despite the overrated players at PSG, they do not produce good results. It will take more than a miracle for them to reach the quarterfinals.

He is not a disciplined coach, and no player is more important than the manager. This is the same team that Tuchel bent to his own style of play. Did you know that C.Ronaldo and Ranous were branched at Real Madrid at one point under Mourinho? You have the right to branch such a player till they obey instructions if they are not playing. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and AC Milan all had larger squads than PSG, but they never relied on individual brilliance and instead played as a team
Let me say this, PSG have no hope of getting their hands on the European silverware if their Ligue 1 stars continue to neglect their defensive responsibilities. Thomas Tuchel once said, It is easy to manage Lukaku than Neymar and Mbappe. With the way they have fallen out with top managers, I dont think the Managers were given the mandate to control these two players. It is not about Pochettino now. He cannot drop them because the Football Director wants them to play always despite their nonchalant attitude to play according to the coach's plan. You can't joke with them. That's what happens when your coach isn't given the freedom to control commercial players. That's the Issue Manchester United have with Pogba.

The "biggest" match yesterday in regards to the participating teams really delivered in my opinion as it was beautiful to watch because there were quite a number of chances created, mainly on the side of ManCity though. Manchester completely dominated the first half and should have already been in front in the halftime but they just did not manage to score. Then Paris somehow managed to score the first goal out of nowhere but City was strong enough to handle being 0-1 behind and scored 2 nice goals to win the game in the end and that was absolutely deserved. For me it was obvious again that, even though both Clubs are owned by sheiks, ManCity has a real team on the pitch while PSG is just a bunch of Stars that are put together in a team without any thinking or strategy behind it.
I agree with you the game was beautifull its always when man city play the first half was a total domination from man city and only one dangerous chance from psg which mbappe should've scored, man city in my opinion are the strongest team right now all thanks to guardiola and that is whats lacking in psg squad a genious manager who can manage a big club without been afraid of benching stars when they are not the right fit for the strategy.

5 wins out of 5 for Klopp’s mighty red men. Our group was billed as the group of death when the draw was made with opponents of the quality of Atletico, Porto & Milan. I’m surprised but very happy to have won the group so easily. Hope we don’t draw PSG in the next round though.
Victory after victory continued to be obtained by Jorgen Klop's team, goals from Tiago Alcantara and Mohammad were wrong, it was enough to bring Liferpol to the top of the standings, and managed to advance to the round of 16 without being defeated once, I really hope that Liferpol will continue to play consistently, and made it to the finals.

I say Liverpool are pretty good in terms of their performance being in the hell group and like nothing for any other opponent against Liverpool.
One more time this match against Milan will be easy enough to beat, with a full win and also group winners.
Liverpool's challenge in the Playoffs was quite successful and many people were surprised but the next challenge is the last 16 of course it will be even bigger, I hope this kind of performance can reach the Final as its highest journey.

I surely didn't expect that form and gameplay from Milan yesterday night at a very difficult stadium like that of Atletico Madrid. The player who scored also has a really meaningful surname Messias (i.e like Messia the messenger) and it scored near the end of the game keeping the hopes of Milan alive again. It is any one of the three teams in the group,Porto,Atletico and Milan who can advance further based on their standings after this game and this for me and many others a very surprise result.

Apparently, this was so and you can say Liverpool was able to triumph over this challenge by not ignoring the fact and putting in a lot of team work. It's no surprise how Klopp has been known to better organise his boys to produce desired results after a previous disturbed season where the team was rocked with injuries and Covid-19 complications. The team seems a lot back on track and ready to roll in the UCL. So far, English teams in the UCL has come up uo be more deadly and daring with a performance that says, 'the tides has changed in the UCL' and we can very much be expecting an English team to retain the trophy this season.

Kind of agree here. Poch is great man, I cannot ever deny that and he has a progressive brain that most people can never appreciate but it feels like he has a soft approach to managing superstars. Luckily it wasn't obvious before at Spurs because he had Kane and Son and a few others but these are easy guys to talk to, nothing like Neymar and Mbappe, who for sure have big egos and will be hard to "bend to his style" as you say.

I think he has a big problem that will get bigger if he doesn't punish or force them to play what he wants.

This also applies to Messi, but I know Messi does what he's told as him being the shield on the floor during freekicks prove this.

Football played in the champions league is really beautiful.  I had the chance to watch the Beşiktaş-Ajax match.  Ajax was favored by many, but Beşiktaş played very well in the first half.  The leader of the group, Ajax, almost lost to Beşiktaş.  Haller scored 2 goals and carried his team.  Reaching 9 goals in total, he became one of the two top scorers in the champions league.

Honestly, I like the performance of the English teams so far. All English teams toping their respective groups. I wont be surprised if we see two of them in the final again. Firstly it was Liverpool that I was afraid they wont make it out from their group as it was ''Group of death''.. Now they have slaughtered the competition. 5 wins out of 5 games and already ten points clear of Porto with just a match to play which is Ac Milan in San Siro. Manchester United and Manchester City and Chelsea also stumped up a beautiful performance too. So far this season champions league has been all about English team upping their stakes on the grandest stage of all.
Liverpool are indeed trapped in a hellish group, even before many people predicted that the competition in the group would be very tight for the four teams, but Liverpool managed to get out of all the pressure so they could get a win in 5 matches, I think whatever the result of the last match, not will be again affecting Liverpool and most likely they will rest their core players when they compete against Milan, yes so far 4 teams from England have made sure to qualify for the next round, even Manchester, which is predicted to fail in the Champions League, they actually get lucky with an extraordinary comeback.

It's shocking how bad Pochetino has become since leaving Tottenham. Is he the same man who Manutd fans are clamoring for to take Ole's place? What a pitiful team with no ambition.

Nowadays football is not about individual work but about team work because literally their front three trio combining of Messi Neymar and Kyllian Mbappe is more superb than city front three but despite that city took control of the game and should have been 2-0 up in the first half. It is very hard for a Coach to be able to manage egos, is another coaching skill on its own. These trident strolls on the pitch most of the time and cut short that defensive cover from the attackers. In my oppinion, Pochettino sets out his tactics and tells them how to play. But Neymar and Mbappe ends up playing their way. Controlling star players at this level is not an easy role.

I'm so concerned about this Paris Saint German situation. Because Pochettino is not in control of his front three, Neymar Messi and Mbappe. The club football manager Leonardo seems to be in control. And it states the club is badly run. Get a good director of football and give your gaffer the freedom. Because No manager will ever win any European title. Emery and Tuchel left PSG and won some European trophies the following season. That states how bad it is. Even Pep won't last, I don't think Zidane will love to be controlled and that's why they have fall out with managers easily. Pochettino is not allowed to be Pochettino. Pochettino's system entails a front line pressure with the forwards narrowing together allowing the fullbacks to provide width. But the forward line provides zero press and that makes the fullback suffer.

I bet on Ajax's victory. They did not disappoint me. At the end of the first half, Besiktas was leading 1-0. Then I thought maybe I'm going to lose the bet. But Ajax came back brilliantly in the second half. Sabastien Haller scored twice in the second half and Ajax won the match 2-1. Besiktas didn't get a chance to attack much in the second half.
Besiktas never had a single point ever since the state of match at the group stage, Ajax have more ULC experience than Besiktas also. I also predicted the match to be won by Ajax. S. Haller is good, he scored the 2 goals for Ajax.

Barcelona could not score a goal against Benfica. The match ended in a goalless draw. However, Barcelona played well enough.
It is very bad, I was expecting Benfica to win Barcelona again, but yesterday surprised me, though it is a home match for Barcelona. But about playing well, it is no no for Barcelona, the club was never like this until Messi left. Hope the club will get back strong on track.

If Barcelona is not careful, the club will not qualify for round of 16. Likely Bayern will win Barcelona again in the next match which is the final match in the group stage, Benfica is playing with Dynamo Kyiv which Benfica have more chance to win. If it the result is like this or if Barcelona draw with Bayern with Benfica win Dynamo Kyiv, Benfica will qualify for round of 16 instead instead of Barcelona.

Pochetino may not just be bad, the fact is Pep is very good tactically he makes some other coaches look as though they are not doing enough. With a squad like PSG though, before the start of the UCL, you would have easily imagined that sorry is the name of any team that meets them, But we are seeing a fairly regular team in play with almost no difference from other teams with names not as big as those in PSG. I am really wondering if Pochetino cannot do well with "Messi, Mbappe & Neymar, alongside some other big names" in PSG, how will he fair with CR7 and the likes of Pogba in Manchester United if he joins them?

Let's take a look at the other matches played last night. Liverpool beat Porto 2-0. Leipzig beat Club Brugge 5-0. We can say that the Sheriff's dream ends here because they lost 3-0 to Real Madrid. However, they will continue their way in the Europa League. The excitement will continue in some groups until the final matches. While Bayern has secured the lead, the struggle for second place between Barça and Benfica will continue. Group G is a mess. There is a possibility that all 4 teams will be eliminated from the group.
There is no favorite team in Group G because all the teams there have capacities or qualities that are not much different, so it's not surprising that four teams in Group G still have a chance to qualify and that is something interesting. About Sheriff Tiraspol I've said it before and really believe the standings will be like that and it's proven now, it's interesting to see what the dark horse team in this tournament will be like they will make another surprise later.
