Of course, he will perform as well as in EPL league because he is in good mood. He should play with his best form once he is in the best condition. So, finally Champions League begins.
Main game today is Barcelona - Bayern. I think it's difficult to expect that something similar can be repeated what happened last time when these teams played. But we don't have much chances against Bayern today.
MU should win confident today and expect Ronaldo to score.
Despite that Juve looks bad this season so far, they should beat Malmo.
Sevilla are favorites today, but I think bookmakers understimate Salzburg too much.
Villarreal - Atalanta should be fun game, despite that start of season isn't good for both teams.
Lille - Wolfsburg and Dynamo - Benfica games looks difficult to predict too.
And Chelsea should win confident against Zenit even without Kante.

I just evaluated what kind of a game plan we could see. I thought that PSG wouldn't do the same as Barcelona. They never did it and they won't also. Otherwise, PSG would even start struggling to win. If a game plan is working, then they shouldn't make a change just because Messi has joined the team.

PSG will never rely on Messi completely. They will definitely give priority to Messi and will consider Messi as the key player for the Champions League matches. But they will not be completely dependent on Messi. The PSG squad includes players like Neymar, Mbappe, and Di Maria. So they have no need to rely on just one player.

The match that might be very interesting to watch is the match between Bayern Munich vs Barcelona because both teams do have a capable squad this season, besides that of course Barcelona must prove that they are still the best team even without Messi right now.

It's not really about the amount spent in buying top players that matter. I think this season will be one of the toughest because so much expectations from different teams. Remember England has the most skilled players. I just love this season because it's just too difficult to predict

For Barcelona against Bayern Munich anything could happen. The last clash they had in 2020 ended with a 8:2 defeat against Barcelona. And I'm sure Barcelona would come for a revenge.
