I think it is still very early to say that Chelsea will make it to the final. There are very strong clubs like City, Bayern, PSG etc. . If Chelsea manage to eliminate Atletico which seems quite possible, much harder teams will be waiting for them in the next round. But as long as they play like this, their chance of continuing in this tournament will be higher of course.

I would bet the opposite. Chelsea have had a very good run after changing the coach and they have improved from game to game so far. The odds speak against Chelsea and that's exactly what's interesting about placing a small bet on a Chelsea win.
Chelsea are much better with Tuchel but this is a quite hard away game for them against a beast like Atletico. But it could be a good chance for Chelsea that the match will be in a neutral location. If Chelsea somehow manage to get a nice result there, they can have a big advantage in Stamford Bridge. I think both games of the draw will be very delightful.

The team is much more stable in the defence and the offensive is more effective. That doesn't mean that they will move on to the next round. The second leg will not be easy. But they scored an away goal so they can play for a draw now. All cards are with Chelsea. Bayern after this game looks like one heavy contender to win the Champions League.

I really wonder what happened to Atletico in this period. Drawing with Levante and after losing to them in a home match... I still wanted to believe they would play differently in the CL match but they were so terrible that Chelsea could even win it with a more score difference. If Atletico don't improve their performance in the rematch, Chelsea can defeat them in Stamford Bridge too and advance to the next round comfortably.

Lazio and Bayern are two teams in different level obviously but it is surprising to see Lazio was able to create many goal attempts against bigger team like Bayern. I cant fully agree that Lazio played badly, they have played their best imho. Coming up to the match between Atl Madrid vs Chelsea, I'm a bit surprised to know the result. @SquirrelJulietGarden it’s hard to believe that Giroud secured the victory for Chelsea, because he was about to leave in the January transfer window (2021) and join Atletico. Lastly Bayern are unstoppable in Champions League, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they score more goals in the second round too.

Very poor Atletico performance against Chelsea. It was quite boring game without much dangerous moments. Atletico made 0 shots on target, it says a lot about game. And what a goal by Giroud, amazing. Good that there is VAR and such beauty weren't cancelled.
Bayern answered all question in first game. I had no doubts about their win, Lazio had no chance today. You can't expect achieve anything against Bayern with such defense.

Actually, Atlético Madrid has been very poor in the last couple of games leading to this UCL clash with Chelsea. They even lost last week in their domestic league to a team several positions below them on la liga table. So, seeing them lose to an in-form chelsea team doesn't surprise me. I'm actually impressed with the way Chelsea came out to play and performed well. It's Tuchel's first UCL game as Chelsea Boss too.
As for Lazio, everyone knew they stood no chance against a superior and dominant Bayern side. They did good to get a goal but that wouldn't do much for them.
