I am very happy for Atalanta and Bergamo, their city. These guys are the best outsider in this year's Champions League. They will be giving headaches to all those teams that will be facing them. If you search for risky but rewarding bets for the next round, then look no further.

Anyway I'm so happy with the fail of Inter you have no idea even if now they can be more focused in the Seria A... but if they fail to win this week it can be the start of their end.
Their luck is bad, that's why they played so badly in the Champions League.  I also think their main goal is Serie A. They are doing great in Serie A. They are in second place in the points table. They have been eliminated from the Champions League. I hope they do well in Serie A.

I am surprised of Inter, in last games they looked quite well and I was sure they should win Shakhtar Donetsk  in Milan !
Anyway, we have last 16 and we will have at least one big game, as Barcelona FC is unseeded .
(Unless Borussia will met them)
Inter Milan are crying for not getting into the European league after the draw in the last game with Sakhtar this nightmare where they didn't reach the last 16 oh what a disappointment.

Barcelona's performance is bad I am not so sure that it will be able to defend their position later but for sure with this beat at 16, hopefully we will meet a team that is able to beat it.

Real Madrid is strong again after beating Gladbach, this is great Zidane is able to do.

I am surprised at the fact that Inter although much better in quality than Shakhtar and playing in their home field didn’t manage to get more than a draw yesterday night. They even are completely out from any major event in the International competitions now.

For whatever you can do, sometimes is destiny and the ball will not enter sometimes you make only 1 shot it got double deflection and it will enter, otherwise simetime you shot and a random Lukaku appears in front of the door and save the opponent.

Anyway I'm so happy with the fail of Inter you have no idea even if now they can be more focused in the Seria A... but if they fail to win this week it can be the start of their end.
I am not surprised with Inter Milan failed to qualify next stage and they failed to play on Europe League after finish on the last position in group B, just happen with Inter Milan after not success yet to win from Sakhtar Donesk although they have big chance after Madrid beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-0, I think if Inter Milan win last night Madrid and Inter will qualify to next stage but Inter just playing draw with Sakhtar Donesk and their chance to play for next stage champion league loss and become the first time for Inter Milan failed qualify in group stage.

Well, that group Inter was in was tough. But still, to be last in it is an underachievement. It did not help them that Shakhtar took 6 points off of Real Madrid, but they should have played better in that last game.
Borussia Monchengladbach was really lucky to go through after they lost to Real, any other outcome in the Inter-Shakhtar game and they would be out.

So far, Bayern has showed the most during the group stages. I'm looking forward for the real thing to begin. Hopefully with some fans as well.

Please, Zidane, Ramos, Benzema and all the crew, don't let me down tonight 😑

Hahaha. Hope they won't disappoint you.
Cool

Real Madrid, The Kings of Europe, have never been KO'd in the group stage in the entire history of the CL 💪 (Source)

Lazio, Atalanta, Leipzig or Porto could be Madrid's opponents in the RO16

Which team do you think is the biggest winner and the biggest loser in the group stage?
Man Utd had a tough group, but what Inter did was so hilariously bad and embarrasing
No Champions League, no Europa League, and no Serie A title cos we all know Juventus is gonna win it...poor fans :/

- Biggest losers for me are Inter Milan for obvious reasons and Man United but they still managed a Europa League spot at least.
- I think the biggest winners are Leipzig and for obvious reasons. They are both runners up but they were in a tough group.

Let's wait and see the result of the draw on December 14.

I want to disagree about the biggest loser; Inter milan were never certain of qualifying from the group stages from the onset; The biggest loser is Manchester United; they were top of the standings right from matchday 1; but they fluffed their chances; got too confident and the end bowed out to the europa league due to pressure. I am sure OLE must be gutted, the missed chances etc will haunt them even in the europa league

Agree actually, I know on paper it seems like Inter has the biggest loss, but I bet you it's United fans who are feeling the most annoyed right now. But you know what happens now. They lose big, so they'll hit back big, which means a United strong win against City. Time to bet big?Wink

Inter Milan has the biggest lost, during the beginning of the season and towards ending of last season, Inter had been playing a very fantastic games ever winning on a consecutive roll in and out of their serie A league, but this failure to meet up an Europe league spot is something outrageous of them.
Manchester united on the only hand is not a consistent winning club so you can't put trust on them for qualifying to round 16, at least they still gave hope to their fans for Europe international level.

Hard to argue who has the worse loss, Inter completely failed and did not even get Europa, but they were probably not expected to make it actually since this was their first season back after a while. United on the other hand have an array of stars that could not find the wins.

I feel like there is no easy second placed winners in the group either.

Ajax probably is the one who feels they lost big.

Real Madrid needed Ramos and Casemiro to balance the team. As soon as they returned from injuries, the team's play reached a high level. Yesterday Real Madrid played very competently, covering all possible threats from Borussia. I hope they will be able to show the same game against Atlético Madrid.
Rodrygo too did a good job and obviously Benzema was more than ready. I don't know about ATM game but I feel it will be way different with few games and maybe a draw. ATM is playing viciously in La Liga comparing to CL imo

It was a really big shame for Inter not to make at least the Europa league spot, One would have expected Shaktar Donetsk and Monchegladbach to be the ones struggling for qualification/europa, but it the had to be Real And Inter who were the group favorites struggling to make it through.

For Barcelona losing to the top spot might hunt during the draws, I foresee a Man City/Bayern Miunch a their opponent for the round of 16

Real Madrid played a great match yesterday no doubt about that and Gladbach looked shocked and couldnt net a goal.
It was funny to see the players from Gladbach that cheered after watching that the Inter Game ended 0:0 and they also qualified!

Very cool!

In theory, it should be possible that Real Madrid have still won this group. Losing to Donetsk at home and away, and then winning the group.
They could also have just flown out. This group was a circus, but the entertainment value was high.
Group B is the most interesting and entertaining at UCL this season, the come-back made by Madrid has really returned the confidence of their supporters again, as a Madrid fan, I am very satisfied with the results that Madrid got.  Congratulations to Madrid and Gladbach.. Grin

Quote
The players immediately scattered to celebrate the result. They hug each other. They laughed and momentarily forgot about their recent loss to Los Blancos. This is the first time since 1977, Gladbach has successfully escaped the qualifying rounds of European competitions.

"We went through the moon. It's an extraordinary emotion that can't be described," said Kramer.

as I said a few days ago, Inter are now a deceased team and Antonio Conte will be kicked out
it is an unripe team and club, combined with an incapable (but lucky) coach
unfortunately luck does not always come to your aid, in an interview Capello (former coach) highlighted Antonio Conte's inability

thats all

in italian championship Inter can do different because have in team champions
