These type of games are always scarier, because first legs are played and the hands are shown so everyone will know what the second leg will be about. The teams that won, will want to defend, and the teams that lost will want to attack, and this will make things a lot more interesting because some teams will have to change their entire tactics to get different results.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case, would be checking which of the teams that lost the first leg, could end up winning the second leg. That does pay the most and usually does end up being true. I hope to see something much better, and for that to mean something we are going to actually get a greater result and eventually something much better.

Fenerbahçe tried to keep the game without getting too tired and they succeeded. They were very successful until Fred came off. In the first half the attacks of both teams were almost equal. As in the first match, Fenerbahce tried to take advantage of the space left by the opponent, they made dangerous attacks and their only target in this match was to prevent the opponent from getting close to their own area.

In the second half, Union SG were the superior side. They scored a goal in return for this superiority, but it wasn't enough to get through. Overall, Union SG went into the game resigned to elimination and we watched a game with a clear result. Next up is the draw of lots for the quarter finals of the UEFA Conference League and good luck to the teams.

actually ajax's level is far above aston villa both in terms of experience competing at the European level or in terms of trophies both in the domestic league and at the European level. but aston villa this season's appearance is very extraordinary. and it was also proven in the Europa League to be able to beat ajax Amsterdam with a landslide score of 4-0.

I am equally impressed with Aston villa performances in the conference league but I am not surprised because it is widely mentioned that league form do not matter in European cup competitions; and this is why same league tie in European competition is always tougher

Good for Aston villa defeating an historical team to go to the next stage, the future just get more brighter for villa with emery at the helm

I'm more than impressed with Aston Villa you know, they was just dealt with during the weekend ganes by Tottenham Hotspur as they lost four goals to nothing.
I won't lie I love the mentality of these players and most importantly the head coach for what he has impacted into these lads. Four goals tonight against a big European side shows how good they have been. They could still go on to win the league same way you must have predicted.

We have four clubs from the Premier League doing well all together during these European Competitions. Manchester City, Aston Villa, West Ham United and lastly Liverpool all has improved than I thought they'd definitely be.

I didn't expect Fenerbahçe to lose but they did,, I didn't enjoy Fenerbahçe. It didn't matter to them that they lost 1-0.
Now they have advanced to the quarter-finals and their opponent will be determined tomorrow.
Among the teams that reached the quarter-finals, there is no team that they cannot beat.
I hope they win this cup.

All home teams qualified today, except Maccabi Tel Aviv. They lost 4-1 and couldn't use the advantage of the first match. They conceded 2 goals in extra time and Olympiacos won the round.
I expected Aston Villa to win and they didn't surprise me either. Ollie Watkins, one of the fit players of last weeks, opened the curtain and they won 4-0. They are one of the favorites for the cup. Another favorite is Fiorentina. In this cup, the teams have become a little more equal. It's getting harder to choose.

Aston Villa vs Ajax is like an early conference league final this season, not to belittle other teams but I think at the moment only Ajax and aston villa have the potential to give us an exciting match, but unfortunately the two teams are too soon to meet in the round of 16, with the first leg resulting in a draw of course the second leg will further make the match quite exciting and like the first leg of course in the second leg we will see a game that does have high intensity from both teams.

If looking at the performance of both teams and also the qualified strategies of the two experienced coaches, of course, it Is very likely that the result of the match will not be much different from the first leg, and even i am quite sure if the match will not end in 90 minutes of norm time, so determining the winner will probably be done on penalties shot, whoever of the two teams will qualify for the next round, most likely If they will be one of the teams that will be able to reach the final round and may also end the conference league competition with a championship trophy.

Of the 8 matches that were held, the match between Aston Villa and Ajax was one of the most interesting in the Conference League. I predict Emery fleet can win today, after drawing in the first leg. Even though he has a busy match schedule, it looks like Emery will field his best squad to achieve victory.

On paper, Aston Villa deserves to be superior because they act as hosts. After being slaughtered by Tottenham in their last match, of course Emery doesn't want to be embarrassed again in front of his own fans. Ajax is actually far from stable in the Eredivisie, however they cannot be underestimated, Henderson presence can make a difference in the match, because he is very familiar when facing Aston Villa.

I predict Aston Villa can win narrowly, and overall Emery fleet has the potential to become one of the teams that wins the Conference League trophy this season.

I doubt Fenerbahce will let some players rest as usually they play great when playing at home,even more now that they have already won 0-3 in the first half against a team who is relatively good and is leading the Belgium Super League.In front of their fans I think Fenerbahce will play aggressively like they usually play in such a heated environment.

Another interesting game I think it will be West Ham vs Freiburg as West Ham is last winners of Europa Conference League,now they are already winning 1-0 while having lost the first leg 1-0 in Freiburg.The other games are all 0-0 which is quite strange since we are going near the 30th minute of the game and at such levels I would have expected more goals.

Fenerbahçe, our last representative in Europe, will host its rival at home today.Fenerbahçe, which won the first match 3-0 away and managed to get an important win in order to pass the round, will be enough to pass the round if it does not lose at home and is not defeated 3 different times.I think that Fenerbahçe will not play some of its players in this match or will rest some of its players after the second half.It will have a more important match at the weekend.
In addition to this match, Aston Villa - Ajax match will also be on my watch.I am interested in the fact that the first match ended in a goalless draw and it is unclear who will go through.

Today we have the second leg games and I will make predictions on some games that in my opinion I think are worth betting on. starting from fiorentina's game against Maccabi Haifa FC, in the first leg of that game we saw a lot of goals, there were 7 goals, fiorentina scored 4 goals and on the other side Maccabi Haifa FC scored 3 goals, although fiorentina in the first leg managed to get out with victory, it was still a victory that they achieved thanks to the luck of Maccabi Haifa FC having a player with a red card even in the 80 minutes of the game, Maccabi Haifa FC is very aggressive in attack and it was clear that they were competing with Fiorentina of equals, so in my opinion the first leg was not good for fiorentina, but fiorentina has a better chance of winning in this second leg

another game that I think was complicated in the first leg was Aston Villa's game against Ajax, it was a goalless game, for the game in this second leg I predict a very difficult game for Ajax and although the bookmakers are looking at Aston Villa is the favorite to win this game, but I still see Ajax managing to cause a lot of difficulties for Aston Villa's very fragile defense, which in its last game had a humiliating defeat in the game against Tottenham in the Premier League. I think that the odds value of 1.37 in favor of Aston Villa is very low because in my opinion these two teams are on the same level

well, another game that I think is strange that the bookmakers are placing as favorites and with very low odds is the Club Brugge game against Molde FK, in my opinion in this game Molde FK can come out with victory as happened in the game of the first pear. Looking at the first leg game, Molde FK managed to score 2 goals while the Brugge club scored a goal thanks to a penalty and in this second leg game the bookmakers are placing the Brugge club as the favorite and with odds of 1.38 and the odds for Molde FK to win are 7.20, I think they are greatly underestimating Molde FK

Aston Villa - Ajax game is going to be one of the most attracting games today. Because technically Aston Villa are the biggest favourite to win this tournament this season.    I can't say I was satisfied with the performance they showed in the first leg though. The general look of the game was actually poor as the number of goal attempts was quite low.

Tonight we should be able to watch a stronger Aston Villa in England. The only and important thing I'm curious about is if Emery will make changes in the usual lineup. Because they have a game in the Premier League after this one three days later. Considering that the score of the first game was 0-0 I guess Emery wouldn't make big changes.

Fenerbahçe will play against Union Saint-Gilloise tonight. Fenerbahçe won the first game 3-0 and took the advantage.
It will be an easy game for them tonight, if they play like last week they can get a comfortable win.

It is also the truth yeah. There are so many examples of much bigger teams being eliminated in such competitions. Even in the Champions League, but it is more commonly seen in lower tournaments like the Europa League and Conference League.    This is why I don't bet on these tournaments often except the Champions League. 

İsmail Kartal will probably rotate the usual lineup in the second leg. Because they have a Super League match in only a couple of days. They are fighting for the championship there. But I still expect them to reach next round safely in the Conference League.

Israeli teams efficiently use of their limited chances to score, Olympiacos dominating the game but M.Tel Aviv also scores 4 times from 6 shots on target.
Fiorentina also dominating the possession and they score 4 goals from 8 shots on target, while M.Haifa manages to score 3 times with only 4 shots on target.
Also M.Haifa has gone Under 2.5 total goals in 7 of their last 8 games, Fiorentina definitely have problem with their defensive strategy for that match.
Without a red card for M.Haifa at minute 80' , I dont think Fiorentina will win that match.

That type of change usually do not matter all that much when it's a European competition. We have seen many many many teams that had less value in the club than the teams they beat. Look at all three competitions, from qualifying stage to right now, and you will see plenty of teams that beat 2x value teams without a doubt.

This time, it wasn't like that and it did have some changes, but it doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something that will change all that much neither, second game is still not played, so they should be careful. There is really not that easy way back from 3-0 losing, but I think it is not that bad to bet on them to win the game at least, even if the game ends like 2-1, it would still be a win, and we would get the profit.

We have good games in this round with few teams done impressive job like Fenerbahçe and Lille both won their away games with good score Maccabi Tel Aviv also won which is having coach like Robbie Kean against the Olympiacos Piraeus this was shocking result for me because I was expecting good win for the home team, but they fail to give any resistance and gone down with 3 first half goals bring them badly down, and they were not able to have anything positive in second half.

Next round could be more entertaining as Aston Villa will be host Ajax and D Zagreb which won home game against POAK will be defended their 2 goals Fiorentina having good fight back against Maccabi Haifa as at the end of first half home team were leading but Italian side done good fight back and bring themselves into limelight which provide them good win and advantage for the second leg match.

Not a bad result for Aston Villa against Ajax, i think they can win easily on Birmingham so not bad.

The surprise of the round for me was the horrible match made by Olimpiacos, totally destroyed by Macabbi Tel Aviv, i dont know if they can recover this gap in the away game.

Fiorentina game was also strange, so much goals in it.

Ajax which is suffering badly throughout in this season have another poor performance even playing against high-flying English club Aston Villa was not good but still they fail to do anything with this result now their hopes for having any trophy in this season almost ended and for the next season most chances we will have them here again because their performance in Eredivisie is also not good, and they are having problems to win games which are creating good difference of points as well.

After having goalless draw most chances Aston Villa will be brought them down in second leg game because their performance at home is impressive, and they will be happy with this result after having bored draw at Amsterdam Ajax needs to be had some changes in coming season otherwise surely they are going to have results like Chelsea again in next season.
