I saw it coming tbh. I'm also starting to think the EPL and the other leagues in Europe could extend their suspension. They should cancel the cup games and just schedule every fixture to finish their leagues (and the CL). IMHO.

With no major tournaments in the summer (the other big one is the 'Copa America 2020' but it's very likely it'll get postponed too), I think the domestic leagues have a good chance of resuming around May/June.

yeah, it is postponed for next year, so probably all leagues will continue after this break, and they will postpone CL qualification for August, and maybe shrink the time between qualification matches, so that next season could start as planned, or will a little gap to planned schedule
it is good for football, and what we can see from China, this will last for two-three months until the situation is start to normalize

I think Euro will be postponed no matter what. Leagues simply have to finish, the easiest way is to extend the season until June/July.
Too much money in it not to complete the season.

Yesterday I read one article saying that German company is developing a vaccine and it could be ready some time in the fall. If they don't produce a vaccine, then I don't know how any competition could be held. Not only UEFA Euro.
I probably read the same article (Croatian), about owner of Hoffenheim Dietmar Hopp and his company CureVAC being very close to clinical trials for Corona virus vaccine. But even if they make it in fall, it will take some time to vaccinate enough people for it to be non issue. Here is an article in English from another source

I still don't think that the postponement is going to be the right decision.
We don't know if things are going to be improved in the next year or during winter 2021. Scientists claim that coronavirus is here to stay and can be transmitted from person to person even during the hot days.
What's the point of having EURO without fans? Or even worse, allow fans to come and spread disease we don't know that much about, we don't know how it will behave in the long term and possible effects it may have, and most importantly, we don't have vaccine yet.We don't know if things are going to be improved in the next year or during winter 2021. Even if EURO is not postponed, some players would boycott it, maybe even whole teams. And that would be even bigger disaster.
I think that the only chance of Euro not getting postponed is if scientists find a vaccine for the virus. @Naida_BR so according to you we should force the players to play, and disregard the safety measures in place?, and secondly force the players to play behind closed doors which is horrible for a player and a fan. Therefore I would strongly disagree with your view that the tournament should not be postponed, as players and fans safety is the most important thing and hence in I believe that this tournament should be postponed.

Pamoldar! You really missed the biggest news on the season actually haha. And yes, everyone seems to have forgot it,,, I thought city was going to be doing an appeal but from what I remember even with the appeal they would surely get the fine, and surely get at least 1 season ban. If City do not win CL this season,,, they will be out for 2 at minimum. Hard to recover!

Yes, I did miss it then. These days I am more into giving time to family. Not going outside much. Staying at home and having good time with my little girl. I usually do not watch Channels much coz watching these news give me stress. The media is talking about this virus too much and stressing people.It was reported in all media as well. I wanted to link few of them for you but couldn't find exact posts at the moment, and I know I wrote 3-5 post about that topic.
I have seen an interview from a doctor (Dr. Drew, no idea who he is though) in USA and he was saying there are nothing much to get hyped about it.

For breaking the FFP rules, The Union European Football Association (UEFA) expelled Manchester City from the Champions League for two seasons and fined 5 million euros.
They fined 5 million euros that's okay but "Manchester City is banded for 2 seasons" I do not accept it in any way..

Not that I like these international matches. In fact I hate it when there are international breaks LOLBut this is really not looking good. Sports lovers are going to have boring time.

I think delay of EURO is actually the only solution here. It makes much more sense than stopping the leagues. This way we just have a break and then the leagues can finish with normal pace and stretch into the summer.
This new concept of Euro would make it extra dangerous for current situation. Is there a better way to help spread corona in Europe than organize a massive competition in multiple countries spreading all over the continent? It just has to be put on hold until corona dies of completely or we find some sort of vaccine/cure.

There seem to be too many pessimists in Croatia who don't believe in their team, but that is your problem - I bet you think same thing in 2018.
Croatia is always a strong opponent from any team that it is going to face them.
However, they won't reach too far as they are stronger teams that participate. My bet would go for Belgium as De Bruyne is in an amazing form this season and he deserves to win a title with his national team.
Experience from many competitions tells me that the individual quality of a team isn't the most important for the final success.
If that were the only important thing, then Brazil would be the world champion many times in the last 20 years and Barcelona the champion of Europe for the last 5 years.
Much more important is psychological preparation, stability, and team unity.
I think these factors were very important for the success of Croatia in Russia and could also be important for the EURO next year.
Don't write off Croatia too soon because they really have nothing to lose, unlike England.
I don’t know about you’ll but I vividly remember feeling very upset, and almost bursting into tears when I saw Croatia loose the finals because those players deserved to win but sadly they failed to fire when it mattered the most. If England underestimates them then they’ll definitely loose the match, but considering how well Southgate has managed the team I feel he’ll do his homework and we can expect a competitive match.
That match was one of the biggest disappointments of my life and I will never forget it.
Croatia started off great and played the best match in the World Cup.
But France was very lucky with the first 2 goals and the players from Croatia, who were already tired of previous matches, could not return again.
England will certainly not underestimate us this time and it will be a very difficult match for Croatia.
However, Croatian players are fighters and never give up, so count on us
