Spain actually played well throughout the game, but they struggled to score goals. Switzerland had forced Spain into extra time, but unfortunately they were 1 man short due to a red card. I don't think the winner will be decided on penalties, Spain have to win before this extra time runs out.

Another draw in the knockout stages, again the Swiss team proven to be very tough and hard to beat. As for who will be the winner, I believe that the Swiss deserve to get to the next round. They played a lot better than Spain in the regular time but who knows?
I would love though to see them passing to the semi-finals and continue their great run. Tongue

At first half early goal gives Spain the lead but at the second half Switzerland retaliate back into the game and set level the game 1-1 I just say what a come back by Swiss! Switzerland not ready to home yet, another thriller! Shaqiri is a beauty, what a move and classic finish.

With less than 5 minutes remaining, it is hard to get that score.
I think this match will continue into Extra Time and maybe penalty shoot-out.

No xhaka and they've lost Embolo too, I'm not too sure the odds are going in the Switzerland favour, they'll probably take some more risks in the second half and commit more forward on attacks but I'd expect Spain to be conservative enough to see out the game and perhaps catch them on the break to score one more goal.

Spain has been playing great since the first minute of the match. They are attacking one after another. Switzerland has not yet made such an attack. 35 minutes of match time has over, ball possession sapin 74% and Switzerland is only 36 % . Switzerland should comeback by scoring very fast.

Spain dominates the game in first 12 minutes and they have one goal from Jordi Alba. It is a very early goal for Spain and after that they keep dominating the match.

About Switzerland, they have some good counter attack, good pace but need more accuracy. The early goal from Spain is a disappointment for Switzerland and might not be what they plan for this match.

I'll give it to Spain to win today. Swiss players performed extraordinarily against France despite only being lucky enough to have made it to the Knockout Stage. It might even be an easy win for the Spanish side as Switzerland would be playing without their inspiring captain Xhaka.
