I agree that the one to be blamed is the main coach (Southgate) IMO, because basically England is a team with so many talented young players but he failed to manage the team well.
He is relying too much on Kane/Bellingham/Saka/Foden for the front side, he did not brave enough to gamble with his squad, I mean to make a big change on the lineups.

Exactly my thoughts too and the big question I keep asking myself is why didn't he call on the service of Sancho because Sancho was a really great player last season despite the slow start but after he swapped to Dortmund he was absolutely brilliant and deserved the call and he would have impacted alot to the squad as he can move very fast with the ball. Unfortunately for England but most fortunately for you, they sit back and lost. Oyarzabal with just inches from being offside made that stretch to push the ball into Pickford’s net. A glorious moment for them to realize all was now lost.
