Georgia vs Greece
Ukraine vs Iceland
Wales vd Poland

Who will qualify after the results of each of the 3 deciding matches are available, then that's when I will congratulate the three teams fighting for a place in Germany.
The reason is, Georgia, Greece, Ukraine, Iceland, Wales and Poland are not teams that I idolize as national teams.

But I still choose to watch one of these 3 matches and bet on these three matches that I will not miss.
It is possible that the Wales vs Poland match will be the hottest and most interesting match.

Iceland managed to beat Israel 4-1.Although Israel managed to take the lead by scoring the first goal, they could not hold on to the match. Iceland, which closed the first half 2-1 ahead, came closer to victory in the second half with Israel down to 10 men. Despite being down to 10 men, Israel won a penalty when the match was 2-1, but Eran Zahavi could not take advantage of the penalty. If he had scored this penalty, maybe we would be talking about different things. In the last 10 minutes, Gudmundsson scored 2 goals 3 minutes apart and won 4-1 in total.

I think that both teams are of equal level and the game could have gone either way.The fact that the most veteran player of Israel,Zahavi could not score the penalty while he always hit the penalties for Israel clearly impacted the game in favor of Iceland psychologically speaking as Israel belief that they could get anything out of this game came to new lows after that.Iceland was really believing and their belief was finalized in the last minutes of the game, veteran player from this side too Gudmundsson managed to bring back smiles to the fans of Iceland.Still both teams are of very much low quality to be playing in an European competition.
I wouldn't say that Iceland is a low quality national team at all. In 2016 at the European Championship they reached the Quarterfinals and then in 2018 they managed to qualify for the World Cup. For a country with such a small population it is almost a feat and in general the Icelandic national team shows a real Viking spirit, does not give up, fights to the end, as in the match with Israel after a missed goal.
Perhaps the national team of Iceland does not belong to the grands of European soccer, but such teams if they catch the spirit, they can beat anyone and surprise anyone.

The remaining 3 slots for the European Cup in Germany will probably go to Poland, Ukraine and Greece.
Ukraine are better from Iceland but they should not underestimate it like what happened in Bosnia game, otherwise I think also they are favourite to qualify.
I did not expect Ukraine to be able to win Bosnia by scoring two goals in the few minutes to the end of the game. Bosnia settled for the one goal, reasoned that their defense would be able to secure the goal but they were punctured. Ukraine have a strong fighting spirit and the ongoing war in their country may be what is having a good influence on them because it is uniting them in team spirit to want to qualify for this international competition to represent their country, and they will make it through. This Euro competition will be really very competitive.

Plenty of teams are taking this chance to build whatever they think they could build, that's an important thing for them. I think friendlies during this time even though most teams do not have a game that matters, shows that they are just getting ready for euro 2024, because in national teams you do not play that many games that often, so having something like this actually does help teams and makes them get a bigger chemistry if they can.

I should say it's a risk for the clubs because it's a national friendly and doesn't even matter and yet the players could still get injured, that would be terrible for any team to lose any player to an injury during a national team friendly match but it is known to happen before, it's always a risk.

Another interesting match is Wales vs Finland... I don’t know why the odds are so high that both teams will score 2.5, but I think we can take a risk... Wales regularly scores and concedes goals, Finland is also not a weak team... I expect goals from both teams here...
In general, Finland plays from defense and Wales is a very unstable team, can score 3 or more goals, and not score at all. Probably for this reason the odds on both goals scored are so high and 2.5 is quite a good odds and if you add the victory of Wales can be quite a good odds.
Wales as I think is the favorite of this pair and although both teams have not lost their last matches, but Wales' statistics is better than Finland, which has lost three games out of 5.

Yes going for the over 2.5 was quite attractive, but then I had a look at their recent history and how their games end and the truth is that it can go both ways. There are many games that end without goals or with only 1 or 2 goals. Now for everyone who went for a bet on over 2.5, congratulations as this was a calm game then. It was decided within the first half already. But in games between international teams the odds for the number of goals is often higher than it is in club games. I checked the odds for the other games as well and it was quite high for almost all the qualifier games of this round for over 2.5 goals.
Those who bet on both goals and a Welsh win could have made a nice profit. Basically everything happened as expected Wales played and even a goal before the break did not break them and at the beginning of the second half they scored one more goal at once and already with the score 3:1 everything was clear, but to Finland did not think about the return game at all, Wales scored a fourth.
In general, I think yesterday was scored unusually many goals and very surprised the Greek team, which did not leave Kazakhstan no chance at all and won 5:0.
In fact, after all the games, the chance in the return match remained only for Bosnia and perhaps another 20% chance for Luxembourg.
The rest have a statistical margin of error.

Yes it was an unusual high number of goals scored. I think on average the over and under 2.5 goals odds provided by the bookmakers are quite accurate. The chances are high that there are a few games with less than 3 goals and sometimes a plain 0-0. But wasn't the case yesterday.

I noticed that Wales does have a game with 4+ goals scored every once in a while, but it is more like once a year or something like that.

Iceland does have a game with 4+ goals as well, but it is rather against opponents like Liechtenstein. I don't think it was realistically expected against Israel. That is 10 goals only in those two games and then put on top of that the 6 goals from the Poland match and we are averarging more than 5 in thee Euro quali games. That's not that typical Wink

Gareth Bale is already retired from the last year lol. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/jan/09/gareth-bale-announces-retirement-from-football-i-have-realised-my-dream

Now it's Brennan Johnson i.e. Tottenham's player become Wales's striker, he's nothing when he play for Tottenham because it's either Son or Richarlison will fill striker position. Even though both of them are equal, but Poland should be win in this match.

Oh my bad, lol. I thought he was still active for his country since to be honest he's the most prominent player I know I'm Wales. Brennan Johnson is good but can he be able to lead his team to defeat Poland and it's not that the Polish side are tough and much of a threat but compared to Wales, they can be a big hindrance.

As usual, everyone is underestimating Wales, and they have their reasons. In the 21st century, Wales has played against Poland six times, and Poland has won all six times. However, we shouldn't underestimate Wales; they are a talented and spirited team. So, the upcoming games will be tough, with both teams at a similar level. Still, Poland has the advantage, and I'll bet on Poland favor.
You will agree that Wales are a team that seldom gives goals and even though they thrashed Finland by four goals we know they may not be able to turn up that number of goals when they meet Poland because we know they are very defensive and attack minded. Many are of the mind that Robert Lewandowski is old and not much of a threat but he still has it in him to punish his opponents and for me, he's just the known face there and can serve as a diversion to shield other stubborn players in his team like Zielinski, Kiwior, Bednarek and the others so it will be a difficult thing for Wales to get the upper hand.

I also agree that Poland will beat Wales but it will be tough especially as Wales are quite stubborn and with Poland having the advantage of most of their players present, it will be difficult for Wales to penetrate them when they meet on the 26th. Poland are just above Wales with three points and I know that eyes will be on both Robert Lewandowski and Gareth Bale to deliver both their teams. I'm also in favor of Poland winning that game by a slim margin.
But it would be a shame if Gareth Bale is no longer actively playing as a professional football player and is no longer playing for the Wales national team as far as the news and information we know about him is currently concerned.

Wales in the final round hosting Poland as a deciding match to win a place in the Euro group stage will not be an easy opponent. Poland was previously not as good as it is now when Fernando Santos was still coaching, Santos' change of position has provided a good change for this team.
Lewandowski and his friends don't want to miss the opportunity to appear in the Euro tournament.

I stand with Ukraine!
The best situation today is that Poland and Wales got a big win and of course this is a good thing before they meet because this will certainly bring some positive impacts, especially in terms of mentality and a strong desire to win.
I think the current situation allows an interesting thing from the match later because although in terms of statistics Poland can always win against Wales but of course Wales also does not want to repeat the defeat again and again especially when their spirit is very good now after a big win against Finland.
Wales no longer have Bale and Poland had Lewandowsky but the striker is older and if in previous tournaments (World Cup, Euro) he could no bring Poland to far, it is unrealistic to think he will be able to do it in Euro 2024.

I don't feel World Cup or Euro will lack of something if Poland or Wales can not join it. They are not strong and competitive enough to go far in World Cup and Euro. Wales even did better than Poland in latest Euro tournaments.

A single striker and already old like Lewandowsky can not easily help his team to win if he does not receive enough good support from his team mates

Wales' erratic performance also makes the situation on the field unpredictable because sometimes they can always play well and make some breakthroughs when they get momentum but in other conditions they play badly especially when the opponent can be below them or equal.
Let's take an example when they managed to win against Croatia in qualifying but after that they did not get good results because they could only win draws in several matches.

You already know the answer, met six times and Poland has won all the match. Wink

Wales is evaluate as strong team because they're from Great Britain, they're overrated. Most of their players are playing in Championship league or mediocre teams in Premier League, while Polans's players are widely playing in Premier League, Serie A, La Liga in upper middle teams.

Yesterday's games didn't have many unexpected results, I didn't place my bets because the games had very low odds. Greece won their game very easily, having managed to score 5 goals and not concede a single goal, and it was a very good result for Greece, but we need to take into account that Greece's opponent was very weak, so it is very difficult to think that Greece has become strong. Another game that had a lot of goals was Poland's game against Estonia. In that game Poland managed to score 5 goals, it was a very easy victory for Poland. something I noticed is that even though Robert Lewandowski was playing from the beginning of the game, Robert Lewandowski still failed to score at least 1 goal in a game in which Poland scored 5 goals

In my opinion, Poland only managed to score 5 goals in that game because the Estonian player received a red card in the 27th minute, with only 10 players, Estonia was at a huge disadvantage and Poland knew how to make the most of that advantage and scored 5 goals, but I highly doubt it. If Poland manages to score 5 goals in the next game against Wales, in my opinion Poland's next game will be a very difficult game with a great risk of losing or drawing. And talking about Poland's opponent in the next game, Wales also scored a lot of goals in their game against Finland, it was a game in which Galos scored 4 goals, 2 goals were scored in the 1 half and 2 goals were scored in the 2 half. They conceded 1 goal, but managed to come away with that victory. Wales are good in attack, they were not a team that dominated possession much

but their great efficiency in attack allowed them to score 4 goals and they had a good defense which allowed them to concede just 1 goal. Well, another game that had a lot of goals was the only game that left me shocked and surprised, I'm talking about Israel's game against Iceland, I don't know what happened to Israel in that game, they only managed to score 1 goal and conceded 4 goals, it was a humiliating defeat is a great sign that Israel is not at the same level as the other teams fighting for the missing place. I see Israel is at a lower level compared to other teams. Lastly, Ukraine won in their game

And Israel, wtf, they took a lead, conceded 2 goals then, missed penalty and then finished game by conceding 2 more goals. Result doesn't reflects the game.

Hehe it remind me the result of Europa Conference league between Olympiacos vs Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In the 1st leg Maccabi won with a score of 4-1 at Olympiakos home, but was instead beaten 1-6 at home in the 2nd leg.
Some of Maccabi Tel Aviv players are Israeli national players and that is the reason I have no intention of betting on the Iceland vs Israel match last night.

Yep, Iceland has higher chance to pull an upset than Greece, even though Iceland had a terrible history, but Ukraine also not able to win against strong national team. Probably Iceland can brought the match ends in draw too, who knows.
