Believe me, Portugal will destroy those guy, remember that Portugal has the best player in the world. Turkiye is a nothing team, they only beat weak country and their past history they almost never win any match.

SIIIIIIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

I want to reply to your post again. What were you saying? Cheesy Portugal will destroy those guys? What? 2-0? Georgia won? Yeah, the magic happened. Impossible is nothing and we proved that yesterday. It was a fairytale to win against Portugal and I want to say that Cristiano Ronaldo was Kvicha Kvaratskhelia's idol and he said that it was his dream to one day play against him and score. He made it happen, thanks to Mikautadze too who performs very well. Btw Mamardashvili is on another level, he saved us confidently so many times, and words can't describe his performance in the last three matches.
Yesterday, the whole country was celebrating this victory. Believe it or not, I couldn't sleep because the whole city was outside and celebrating.

Yesterday, Turkey secured a 2-1 victory against the Czech Republic in the final Group F match, advancing to the last 16. The Czech Republic bid farewell to the tournament with this result. Notably, the referee in the Turkey-Czech Republic match set a tournament record by issuing 16 yellow cards and 2 red cards. At one point, I even wondered if he would start showing cards to the fans and TV viewers.

There is no way Czech would have been able to win turkey because their past games have not been good because their opponents are stronger than them and since they are not serious so what do they expect. Czech Also tried but along the line they were able to secure one goal. They are the one below, so their is nothing for them. they can not do anything at this point because any moment from now they will be advancing to round 16. Turkey did not relent at all. And turkey  had  seven shots on target. And even the ball possession turkey played them well. I think the red card contributed to the lost of Czech  and their is no way you can be able to win.round sixteen is going to be tough because everyone will want to advance to the next level.

Group E was indeed intriguing. Before the final matches, each team in Group E had accumulated 3 points, leaving all of them with a chance to advance to the next round. In the recent Ukraine-Belgium match, the score ended 0-0. Unfortunately, this result meant that Ukraine bid farewell to the tournament despite having 4 points. Interestingly, other groups saw teams advancing with just 3 points. Meanwhile, Belgium, also with 4 points, secured second place in the group. To be honest, the France-Belgium match promises to be a clash between two quality teams, with an outcome that’s difficult to predict.

We have to consider every round of 16 match to be more interesting than the group stage matches. All countries that make it through to the round of 16 will fight it out to win and try to qualify for the quarter-finals, so not only is the France vs Belgium match interesting to look forward to, but all matches should be like that.

But I agree that the France vs Belgium match will be the most awaited match. France has players of a good level of quality, Belgium is like that too. Belgium probably won't be as strong as France based on the depth of their squad, so I think France will really be favorites to win the match.

Is this yours? if yes, then it is interesting although there is one match that is different from my prediction.
In the match Austria vs Turkiye, I chose Turkiye to qualify. Then the Netherlands, I doubt them even though the team that the Netherlands will face is Romania, many are not predicted to qualify for the next round.

Portugal vs France like this picture, for me it is not France who will qualify, but Portugal so they will meet Spain.
I predict the final between Portugal vs England.

The only interesting match from the 1/8 finals would probably be France-Belgium. I watched Belgium-Ukraine and I'm not impressed at all by the Belgian team. Why they didn't put some effort and win against Ukraine, so that they could get a better opponent in the elimination stage?
In all the other matches, the favorites would most likely win against the outsiders. Georgia won against Portugal 2-0 but this is probably because Portugal had already won their group. Anyway, the Euro 2024 is getting more and more boring to me. Maybe the teams will start playing for real in the next stage.
This round of 16 will be exciting every team will try to win even though we can predict which team will qualify, but obviously the most interesting is France vs Belgium of course here we will say France is the favorite and Belgium is the underdog team.
Yes the Euros are a bit boring now for the group stage a lot of the big teams are looking for the safe way rather than playing hard for example some of the other teams but I feel in the round of 16 it will be a bit different the pressure will be stronger between the teams to score more goals, I don't want to see this goalless again or a draw this is definitely less exciting.

It's very surprising to see the result match between Portugal vs Georgia because Portugal have lost with the final scores 2-0 and i assume plenty of bettors has been lost their bets from this match because i think most of then will placing their bets for Portugal because they thought Georgia will became an easy opponent for Portugal but surprisingly Georgia can reverse many people's predictions and won this match and this also makes Georgia for the first time in their history can advances to the round of 16 and they will fight against Spain

I think Turkey also has did a good job because they can dramatically win from Czech this result makes them can finish at runner up place on group D under Portugal and for round of 16 Turkey will fight against champion of Group D Austria and if we see based on squad quality i think both teams is equally strong and so far this is their first met in the big tournament but this time the bookmakers placing Austria as the favourite
Yes, you are right betters are very angry after this result because they expected that Portugal will win this match easily and they will enjoy the party after match. Ronald were looking in bad form because I think he is not proper fit , otherwise he is the only person that is equal to one team and he could win the match by playing easily. He did no goal in this match and the all team of Portugal could not any single goal and lose the match by 0-2 score. K. Kvaratskhelia did first gaol of match and nobody was prepared for this and he bent the match to their side and after that G. Mikautadze did second goal at the penalty . Team of Georgia won the match easily, excellent performance guys, carry on.
Portugal suffered a shock defeat and they showed that they could have a hard time against Slovenia. Slovenia should follow this match very closely. They have many lessons to learn from the Georgia match. It is not a miracle that they can advance to the next round if they find Portugal's gaps well and make the necessary interventions there. Ronaldo is still not in good form, they started this tournament badly

Top scorer of Euro 2024 standings awhile

The big names are not even in the current top scorers list such as Mbappe, CR7, Kane, Belingham, Morata, and some other popular strikers.
As far as I can see in this tournament till now is that there is nothing special from the top favorite teams, Spain is the only one which get perfect 9 points in the group stage but I do not think how they play is special too.
Although some favorite teams were seems to be having hard time in the group stage but I like the fact that there are some teams that surprises us such as Austria, All teams in group E except Belgium, Georgia, and Slovenia.
Well, the 1/8 finals matches looks all great to watch, I'm hoping to see those non favorite teams to defeat the favorite teams LOL.

Georgia was a big surprise to me but I just like the twist because it added more fun to the competition.  Even though group stages just concluded, it will not be wrong to say that this is the most fascinating and interesting Euro tournament I have seen. First time in the history of Euro that you cannot be sure of winning until the final whistle.

I expect more intrigues as the knockout stages begin and the first major match that will defy every tactics of prediction is France against Belgium. Both teams are among those expected to win the trophy so there meeting will be a big clash.
Belgium is not one of my favorites to win the title, but France is.
Even though France is limping in terms of winning group stage matches, they have the squad depth to compete for the highest places in this tournament. The match should be more challenging for both teams, of course because whoever loses will go home early.

Unfortunately, we cannot hope that two of the 4 favorite teams will qualify for the final. I mean, Portugal, Germany, Spain and France are all in the same bracket where only one of them will go into the final as the favorite. Germany and Spain will most likely meet in the quarter-finals, while France and Portugal also have the same chance.

The match between Turkey and the Cheska was a fierce match yesterday, although many said that the match between Georgia and Portugal was the main match, but in fact the match between Turkey and the Cheska was the most thrilling match throughout the match, Turkey who chased a draw or victory to be able to qualify for the round of 16 actually experienced a difficult match at the beginning of the game,  The cheska were able to dominate the game from the first minute of the game and even when the Cheska played 10 men but they were still able to make it difficult for Turkey in the match, losing 1 player did not make cheska weak but what Antonin Barak did in the match was ridiculous because previously he had received a yellow card.

Even though the opponent played with 10 players, Turkey had a very difficult time beating the Cheska, so Turkey had to wait for the 51st minute for them to create their first goal in the match, I think the match was very dramatic and really tested the mentality of the Turkish players to be able to end their last match with a victory to reach the round of 16.

I already guessed that Portugal's match would not be very interesting because it is likely that they are not playing with the main squad because they are safe and only need a draw and it's exactly as we expected. Our attention turns to the match between Turkey and the Czech because here the Czech still have hope of qualifying if they win and Georgia lose but unfortunately it was all in vain after Gregoria beat Portugal and Gregoria qualified to go to the next round.

I think Gregoria celebration of their victory will soon end because in the next match they have to face Spain, we know Spain is a team that has never lost and has never conceded so how did Gregoria overcome this challenge. In other matches, Turkey also had to overcome tough challenge when they had to face Austria as group D winners which I think is an even match. There is a possibility that the two teams will draw and the winner is determined through a penalty shootout.

LOL.. Belgium vs France match is going to be really exciting. Belgium struggled a lot in Group E, and they won just one match (against Romania). while France fared better (although they conceded draws against Netherlands and Poland in Group E). Another match I would be quite interested in will be Switzerland vs Italy. At least on paper, Italy is stronger. But at the same time, they did poorly in Group B. Switzerland on the other hand did well to hold Germany to a draw in their last group stage match.
These two matches will be interesting to watch and will also be very difficult to predict because u have concluded that there is no more favorite in this tournament following the team performances in the group stage.

Nevertheless, it has now come to a stage where champions showed themselves;
Belgium vs France is a world class match that will be hard to predict, but based on group stage performance, France in my opinion should have a better chance because they even have a better team than Belgium; although, we can’t rule Belgium out of the game either.

Switzerland Vs Italy will also going to be tough, but I am in support of Italy in the match.

I have almost gave up on Turkey because I was not expecting them to win the match, but they might be encouraged after seeing Georgia wining their match against Portugal. But it is all the same since they both qualified to the knockout stage.

I think it was actually 18 yellows and 1 red, two of the yellow ones got converted to a red one.
It looked like the referee was trying to make a name for himself and go for the record, and I think he might have succeeded. I believe this is the most yellow cards in one game in Euro's history.
Some of them were deserved, some not, I don't think showing that first red card to Barak in 20th minute was a good decision and it changed the game completely.

It was a really good one to watch though, with both teams not holding back and doing everything to win.

It was a bit funny at two stages where the ref was flicking yellow cards at the
Czechia bench and another after the match. It was a niggly match and I recon
the ref wanted to make a statement of authority with the cards....

There was a bit of history between these two teams,  they played 9 times in the
past with 6 wins for Turkey, once Chory for Czechia received a red card in the
10 minute the writing was on the wall for them

Yes it is definitely disappointing, even though the player earns a red card but the mistake was fatal. The Czech Republic team lost despite working hard, with Antonin Barak sent off with a red card after 20 minutes had passed and the attacking department immediately weakened.
Whenever the red card was earned it looked like the CZech Republic team would fail, Antonin Barak was in the attacking department and immediately conceded a goal. And the Turkish team is strong in every aspect so if the red card had not been earned in this match, the game would have been full of competitive moments.

It was such a crazy match that Turkey's meeting against the Czechs had to end in chaos between the players which made the referee have to issue so many cards. I know the Czechs' desire is to beat Turkey to secure the best third place after only collecting one point from the previous two matches. But I think Turkey won't let that happen and therefore they have to win convincingly if they want to qualify for the knockout rounds without any problems.

Towards the final minute, Turkey dashed Czech hopes through Cenk Tosun's goal and that was also a sign that the Czechs didn't have another chance. However, I thought it would all end well, but what happened was that all the players were involved in problems and the ones who suffered the most were of course several Turkish players who had to get yellow cards. The reason is that if they get another yellow card in the next match, of course some of their players will have to be absent and that will reduce their strength.
Well, A. Barak became the main problem for Czech after getting his second yellow card for a serious foul. Without a doubt, the referee's decision to award him a red card was detrimental to Czech's gameplay. If I were Czech's coach, I would switch him out for a player on the bench.
Barrak lost control of his emotions after getting his first yellow card, which caused the Czechs to lose that game. Czech still made it hard for the Turkiye to score, though they had 10 players. For the last, I thought that Turkey vs Czech Republic was the most exciting game to watch.

Looking at goal productivity, Switzerland is better than Italy, because they scored 3 goals and only conceded 2 goals, while Italy managed to score 3 goals and conceded 3 goals. Even though that is a very close difference, in a short tournament like this I think it is very influential, in contrast to the League which is held regularly throughout the year.
I agree with you that Italy must be able to attack better, but they also shouldn't forget about defense, because there they also think they still look lacking. Their opponents are dangerous Swiss, so once they make a mistake the Swiss will punish them.
I think this match will be interesting in this knockout round, they have opportunities that are not much different in my opinion.
This is strong point for the Switzerland as they are having much better attack then Italy even their defense is also conceding goals in every game like Italy but their attack giving them better results which can go into their favour Italians mostly love to play with strong defense, but currently situation is clearly not ideal for them and they need to work on their attack for having better results Spalletti is doing good job, and he will try his best for having his team better in coming matches.

After some surprises in early round things are looking good for the coming games, and we will have good results from the teams which will be tried to win the title or having chances to go through until last four, but currently predictions are not easy for any team.

Honestly, almost all teams are performing less than our expectations. That is the reason why the matches played so far have been so boring. I expected some of the teams with better squads to be performing better than this. There are some matches that look so surprising because of the players' less-than-expected performances.

As for the Ukraine match against Belgium, seriously, I was expecting Belgium to win that match with the squad they have compared to the Ukraine squad. I know that Ukraine also has a good squad, but I don't think it is as strong as Belgium's. So, the way Belgium performed yesterday was not up to my expectations at all.

Georgia winning against Portugal was not a surprise to me because I know that Portugal was already topping the group, so the match was not that important to them. If Portugal had really meant to win that match yesterday, I don't think Georgia would have been able to win the game. Portugal was the team that was controlling the pitch in that match. If Portugal really needed that match to qualify for the next round, I don't think they would have given Georgia any opportunity to win.

Georgia was a big surprise to me but I just like the twist because it added more fun to the competition.
Georgia's victory over Portugal was very surprising. They were under tremendous pressure from Portugal, they didn't have much control of the ball but they managed to win against Portugal and take them to the round of 16.
their opponents will be more difficult, and Spain will not be easy to deal with. They have a more aggressive attack line than Portugal. Spain will certainly be the favorite. but Spain may also be troubled by the strong, disciplined defense of the Georgian players.
A great achievement for Georgia, this team can step into the round of 16 is much more valuable for her even though the opponent faced later is Spain which is certainly difficult to beat.

Maybe it can be said that Spain will play easier against Georgia, I know this team won with Portugal but we have to see that they lowered their second squad so it can be said naturally but the euphoria of their victory is very enthusiastic to see it.

This round is the real deal because it's knockout so there can't be any mistakes and it's fatal, and Georgia might surprise again but it's unlikely.

Feeling quite disappointed because most of the teams for whom I was cheering for are already out of the tournament. Croatia and Hungary couldn't make the cut among the best placed teams at 3rd position in each group. And before that, Scotland and Serbia ended at the bottom of Group A and Group C respectively. Czech Republic met with the same fate in Group F. Still I am glad that Georgia made the cut, despite the fact that they were being placed in an extremely tough group along with Portugal and Turkey.

France vs Belgium is a match that I am also looking forward to, but there are also several big matches that are no less exciting, namely Spain vs Georgia. In the last match, Georgia 2 goals were able to seal Portugal's game, so it is possible that Spain will also get a surprise from this team.

The last 16 brought together several national teams, almost all of whom were Euro regulars last year. England, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and the Netherlands are the teams that still have big opportunities. However, with the current situation and condition of the squad, it doesn't seem as strong as before. England still has coaching problems, Portugal is also not as sharp as before because Ronaldo is getting older, but so far Portugal still entrusts its team to be led once again by Ronaldo and Pepe. What's interesting is that Germany and Spain are very promising teams to be in the final. Hopefully my guess is correct. Because these 2 teams during the group stage got extraordinary results.
