Shout out to the Spanish national team, as they was able to complete a hundred percent start from the group stage. In between, they was also able to keep three straight clean sheets which should also be the first time they have done so in this European Competition. That lone goal from F. Torres was enough to seal them nine.

Some late trails from Chelsea loaned Broja but his efforts wasn't enough to get them sharing the spoils last night. Most disappointing should be Luka Modric as he wasn't able to see himself qualify for the next stage of the Competition.

Too many concerns has been raised about the England National Team. I don't have enough to say because I don't rate the coach, so I don't se him lining up a solid first eleven. They might go through this group stage but what happens when they meet other better countries in the next round? Gareth Southgate svcks truthfully.

I haven't been watching the Euros closely this year but just from first glance, I have a hunch that Portugal and England could make it far up to at least the semis...  Dunno but I feel like Gareth Southgate and Roberto Martinez are the lucky ones.  I fancy them to go to the final if their paths don't meet in the Round of 16, quarter finals or the semi finals.

And for the lulz, made a small net on a 4 leg parlay with England, France, Belgium and Portugal at 3.79. 

Poland has a very weak defense, and it will be very difficult for them against France, but France scored only 1 goal in two matches, which is also not similar to the result that we are used to seeing before. Poland will try to get at least one point, so no one will want to return home with zero, but it will be very difficult to withstand France in this state. The odds for France to win are very small, so you can think about TO. Austria is unlikely to be able to beat the Netherlands, so in this group, as expected, the Netherlands and France most likly will go further.

I didn't make a prediction. I talked about a simple math and how it proves that Netherlands has already qualified for the next round. As I said, whatever happens, Netherlands will advance to the knockout stage.
Netherlands has 4 points and even if they finish third, they will be one the 4 best third-placed teams. Take note that all matches of groups A and B have ended and whatever happens, Netherlands will have higher points than the third-placed teams of those groups.

For now, it seems that only Italy has been confirmed to face Switzerland in the round of 16. Meanwhile, other teams such as Germany, Spain and Portugal are still waiting for the results of the matches that will continue today and tomorrow.

Today I might be more curious about England's match against Slovenia. I'm just curious whether England will improve in today's match. Because we know that England played below their maximum performance. because they have so many star players in their squad but their game doesn't show it. And I now hope that England shows a beautiful game against Slovenia. But if England also finds it difficult to play against Slovenia then I probably won't have much hope for England in the round of 16.

Poland is the first team at the tournament to lose their chances of making the playoffs. This team showed terrible soccer at Euro-24. So the favorite of this match for me is obvious - it's France and they will do everything to win in order to take the first place in the group. For the first two rounds the French have not shown their full power, but I think the French will show in today's match against the Poles what they are capable of. My prediction is a win for France.

Was a very dramatic game i feel sorry for Modric and Croatia for working so hard and losing at the very end when they all thought it was over. The match was an intense one but i feel Italy are not doing well so in this competition their performance has not been convincing enough, they struggled against Albania and just managed a win, lost to Spain and still struggled against Croatia and were able to draw at stoppage time. They are just lucky to still be in this competition and if they don’t up their game they will be eliminated early in the knockout phase.

Hard luck guy. That’s how football is sometimes, it can be very dramatic but we don’t havve to blame the referee for giving them too much extra time i am sure he has his reasons for giving 8 minutes it’s just unfortunate that it didn’t go in favor of Croatia.

It’s too early to make such predictions because nothing is impossible. They have the advantage already with 4 points but losing can be costly. I went through the standings and saw some teams already with some points that if they end up winning their final game they could go level Netherlands 4 points and might progress with tie breaker.

To be on the safest side they just have to go for the win and free themselves of all the dramas of this competition.

In this match after 90 minutes have passed, I think the position will not change and Croatia will win the match. However, in the added minute Italy was able to equalize through Zaccagni's curling kick. So the match ended in a draw. In this way, Modric and his teammates must be very tense because the fate of their team is determined by the match between other teams who are both fighting for the 3rd best position.

Currently Croatia is in 5th position out of 6 teams that are ranked 3rd. So Croatia's hopes of advancing to the round of 16 will definitely be a little difficult in this phase. Because in essence, the condition for Croatia to qualify for the round of 16 is that Slovenia must lose its match against England and of course it must lose by a fairly large score. While I won't call that the best of performances from Italy, they tried to achieve one thing; which is sharing of points. We've seen dying minutes heart breaks in this tournament, and Croatia got theirs yesterday in the form of a 90+8 Zaccagni goal which was handed to him by Calafiori, the same player that gifted Spain their sole win when the two sides met. I guess we can say he has made up for his mistakes.

Croatia will be dependent on the performance of England against Slovenia as whatever the outcome will be determines if they get to play in the next round or if they will be removed.

It was indeed a match filled with drama and suspense. No one expected the turn of event that happened in that match, from Luka Modric missing a penalty and still scoring shortly after that to the transition from Italy losing to Italy drawing the match, all there just what made the game fun filled. Maybe other teams will learn from that match that giving up is not an option until the last whistle.

You were very close to being right, just a matter of seconds. Assuming this came through, I would have become scared of you. Many people, including myself, expected Italy to win the match, so it was surprising to see them getting a draw by what seems like luck. The had everything to their advantage but in the game of football, anything is possible.

When the match had entered the 90th minute and the score was still 1-0 in favor of Croatia, it was very natural for everyone to think that Croatia would definitely win. But yeah, the big surprise actually came at the end of the extra minute. I am not disappointed with the result, but I do not understand some of the referee's decisions in that match. I didn't expect much from Croatia from the start. But I really don't want to underestimate this team. And yes, in this match Croatia was also able to put up a good fight. Maybe the story would be different if L.Modric managed to kick the penalty well. But it was still an exciting match even though most of them probably lost the bet.  

Today's match in Group C actually had quite an interesting situation. Where the competition to qualify for the round of 16 is still wide open, even for Serbia, which is at the bottom of the rankings. As long as Serbia manages to win today's match. But unfortunately Denmark is a strong opponent and I doubt Serbia will be able to win today's match.

I also think when Croatia conceded a goal in the final minute it wasn't because they were unlucky but, that is proof that Italy is indeed a team with a winning mentality, because in an unfortunate situation and they didn't have much time left, Italy was still able to maintain their composure until in the end their efforts and persistence produced adorable results.

I think before the game started, Croatia had enough pressure to get the win because that was the only way for them to qualify for the next round. When they seemed to be able to make it happen, Croatia instead looked nervous and couldn't keep their composure.

In football it is not over until the final whistle, I already gave up on Italy equalizing the goal and on the third minutes of extra time, I went to bed woke this morning to see that Italy was able to equalize the goal at the crucial minute. All hope was stolen from Croatia that moment and that is the most painful thing for them.

Modrick couldn't believe his eyes but there is nothing he could do anymore since the goal came at the last minute of the extra time. This should be a warning for the Italians to improve their performance in the round of 16, because they fought so hard before scoring just one goal which would have kicked them out of the competition.

Mate, I think Croatia got plenty of extra time against Italy. Spain who had already qualified, had four minutes of extra time against Albania, so it was unexpected that Croatia were given eight minutes, despite the fact that they needed three points to qualify for the group stage. I believe Croatia would have won the game if the 8 minute was not added.


I was disappointed with Croatia last minute goal, no one expected it because there were just a few seconds left before the referee blew the final whistle. I blamed Modric for missing the penalty, but after a few minutes, he corrected his mistake and put Croatia in front by one goal. Croatia couldn't withstand Italy pressure after scoring the first goal. The Croatia coach needs to learn from their last two games, they made the same mistake against Albania, conceding a goal in the final minute to draw the game. Sadly, Croatia is eliminated because this is Modric's final European tournament.

There were a lot of delays in the match, a lot of cards, penaltie, and the referee has regulations according to which he can add time, so I doubt that there will be any complaints against him in this regard. Croatia missed their chance in the match with Albania, this is something they can regret, and Italy is the current champion, so there was no point in hoping for an easy match with them, I said that Italy would not lose, although it was not easy, but they achieved result what they needed.

Saying unlucky in two matches is not enough to be a valid reason. There will be discussions like why the referee gave this match 8 extra minutes but Italy tried till very last to finalize the match result as a draw and control their second position. Croatia have reasons to feel regretful and painful because if they can avoid only one of two late equalizing goals from either Albania or Italy, they would have 4 points and have better chance in race with other third-positioned teams.

I felt something wrong when Modric took the penalty because he did not shot well at that spot. I am impressed on how Modric quickly corrected his mistake and scored an important goal for Croatia but now, it won't mean anything for him and Croatia in Euro 2024.

It's not possible that Netherlands is eliminated in the group stage. They have already qualified for the knockout stage.
Even if Netherlands loses the match against Austria and finishes third in the group, they will surely advance to the next round. They have 4 points and that's enough to be one the 4 best third-placed teams.

Well I also think that betting on the Netherlands and France is the right choice. Especially for the France vs Poland match. Because I think Poland has some weaknesses in their back line. Because Poland even lost to Austria with a score of 1-3. And that means that Austria is stronger than Poland. And Austria was also defeated by France. So in this match, namely France vs Poland, I am sure France will win by at least 2 goals.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands vs Austria match will actually be quite fierce. But yes, betting on the Netherlands remains the most appropriate choice. Unless a surprising result occurs.

I would say Croatia were unlucky in this match. Otherwise the team would have been able to win the match. Overall gameplay in this match was very good from both teams. Although Croatia's players attacked less, Croatia's match strategy was very good. Croatia's attacks were very sharp.

Croatia kept their defense tight after Modrich scored in the 55th minute of the second half. Italy's players could not break down Croatia's defense despite attacking a lot. But Croatia conceded a goal in the very last moment of the match. Mattia Zaccagni scored from Calafiori's pass at 90+8 minutes. And the match was drawn 1-1. Modrich's luck was really bad.
