It was a very boring day for the Eurocup, there were matches ending in draws. The match I followed live was the match between England and Slovenia. While talking to my friend, I said that I predicted that this match would end in a draw. I could really take action for this.

Why don't England step up their gear? They have players who can score goals very easily in such matches, but for some reason they seem to be having difficulty. England was like this in the old Eurocups too.

It wasn't boring for Ralf Rangnick and his Austria side. As they finished top of both Dutch national side and French. Had big expectations from Dutch side but they couldn't do shiits.

Best Team? T's got to be Germany, Spain, Portugal and Austria Currently. We don't even have what  to say about Three Lions. They had players who scored twenty goals and more for club side ( Cole Palmer, Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Saka and Jude Bellingham ), but Gareth Southgate can't get the best out from them. I'm highly disappointed in him.

I'd agree with Spain being the best because they have finished strongly on top of the group with a fine style. ³/³ Games.

Slovenia Aldi got to qualify as they displaced Denmark with that draw they sealed against English national side.

England-Slovenia match ended in a 0-0 draw. Slovenia advanced to the next round for the first time in a long time.

Denmark-Serbia match also ended 0-0 and Denmark finished 2nd in the group and advanced to the next round.
Serbia was eliminated from the European Cup. I thought they could advance from this group but they were eliminated.

At this point I can't be more disappointed than this. How can we even explain that England is being held to a draw against Slovenia? Can you even bet that? You have an attack of harry Kane, saka, foden, Bellingham and a slight fraction of Cole Palmer and mainno and yet you can't score a single goal? This is just insane. I don't even want to blame any other person other than the coach because he has continuously used a tactics that hasn't been working for matches now but still remain stubborn and arsamant to changing and trying something different. Obviously, the teams in the England group around strong teams you can't become flexible with in terms of trying your players out. You've left Cole Palmer out of the game for matches and have seen the effect and didn't bother bringing him up in the starting lineup. Didn't you notice the change he brought to the team just few moment in played? I don't know if it's sentiment or what that the clock is using but if he's interested in winning matches and going far in this tournament, he better give palmer and mainno more playing time.

can that even be argued? Look at the energy and passion Spain plays with in all there matches, that's real football from a team to that knows what country football is. They played well against small teams and didn't joke when they played against the bigger team and that's how any team that has as his ambition to win trophies should look like.

Not all the game were that boring @netherlands vs Austria. But aside that particular game all the big boys failed to secure a victory in their game and this shows that the competition is actually getting harder as almost the games now the big teams do struggle to a get a win. By far from my observations only two teams have shown flawless performance and that's Portugal and Spain but that's my take by the way.

The positive thing is that I can't see a strong team so any of the big team have their chance to win.

Probably the best team at the moment is Spain.

France and England for the moment are the 2 big underwhelm team. They had the best odds on bookmakers idk now, they are not convincing.

It's almost the end of the match and both teams have zero goals. England has become weaker and weaker every match day and it isn't very comfortable for them. If they do not win today's match the competition will become harder for them and of cause they won't survive the next round because if they can't face a team like this and win successfully how will they face teams like Spain, France, Croatia, and other strong teams in the tournament. 

Slovenia has done their best in this competition and luck has been on their side for a long time. Their defense has been something that needs to be applauded for their consistency.

Definitely the most active match so far in this competition and this is because the whole atmosphere of the game was so hyped filled with so much heat and goals. Austria was indeed at their game as they won the game beyond everyone expectations and they even lead the group leaving the Netherlands with all they can hope for.

What a game! Honestly, the Austria-Netherlands match was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining matches of Euro 2024. There were many chances and many goals. Austria managed a remarkable upset by beating the Netherlands 3-2 and securing the top spot in Group D. The Netherlands finished third in the group. We truly longed for matches like this.

At the moment the draw is good for Slovenia, but the score of the other match is very important. There have been no goals in either match so far. Even though England are clearly superior, they are having a hard time creating positions. Even if they got into a few positions, I would expect more scoring chances despite playing so much ball. I think Slovenia is playing its best game against England because there are big differences between the two squads.

It is difficult to understand Southgate's strategy at the Euros this time. In the first half, England had almost 70% ball possession, but Slovenia had a good defense with the winning side of the duel. The ongoing second round is also not much different. Slovenia was still quite good at defending even though the English team was in control with ball possession of 85%.

I think Slovenia will try hard to get a draw if the opportunity to get points cannot be realized. However, Slovenia's hard efforts will be in vain if Dernmark elsewhere wins over Serbia.

Today's match between Poland and France in group D is actually a confirmation that in football it is difficult to predict that something will definitely happen. The Polish team, doomed to destruction, was at times much better than France; the French only woke up at the end of the first half. The second one wasn't much better. Overall, France seemed like a lethargic team and didn't really care about winning. Perhaps they are saving their strength for the knockout stages.

There were really many different things that happened in Group D.
Austria finished the group as the leader, France came in 2nd and the Netherlands came in 3rd.

Austria-Netherlands match was nice and enjoyable and Austria won the match.

France-Poland match ended in a 1-1 draw. Thus, France finished the group in 2nd place.
Poland was eliminated from the European Cup.

Football is no longer as predictable as it used to be. Some teams can make big surprises. A similar thing happened in the Georgia-Czechia match, and although the Czech Republic came very close to scoring a goal in the last minute, they were not successful. If they had been able to score that goal, maybe they would have had a chance to come third in the group, but now we see that they are in such a situation that their chances of getting out are almost non-existent. This tournament produces unpredictable results

Throughout the first half of the England-Slovenia match, it was noted that the England team found it difficult to penetrate the Slovenian defense and approach the goal. The only chance was in the 40th minute, as a result of a corner kick that the English attackers did not exploit well.
On the other hand, the Slovenian team played with great performance despite the pressure from the English attackers, who found no solution other than long balls.

The first half ended without extra time. I expect that the English will correct the mistakes of the first half after they understood the way the Slovenians play, and they are likely to score the first goal in the first minutes of the second half.

So we can call group D the fiercest group this week where the 2 favorite teams failed to win the match and I don't think that Netherlands will be in 3rd place or Austria who is at the top of the group, Netherlands has to compete with 5 other teams who are in 3rd place to get the 3rd best position but fortunately 4 of the 6 teams in 3rd place will qualify this means that Netherlands has a big opportunity because so far they meets that category.

In another match between Denmark vs Serbia this is a battle for 2nd place while England is certain to have secured first place and this is the deciding match, Denmark dominated the match throughout the first half which in my opinion is just waiting for the right time to score a goal, the same thing in the England match and that didn't give Slovenia a chance.

It's amazing that the strongest and highest scored team in the group got a draw with Poland and that would've been 1-0 for Poland if not for that penalty kick, while the second strongest (the Netherlands) got destroyed by Austria.

If someone were to bet on these teams before the first group match, they'd score France the highest, then Netherlands and Austria third and the final score is completely different.

From Poland's perspective it also looks completely weird since they lost the hardest vs Austria that used to be considered their easiest match, but got 1-1 with France that should've been the hardest.

Unexpectedly, Austria managed to reduce the Dutch's ferocity after ending the match with a score of 3-2. The Netherlands were unable to develop their game throughout the match because Austria played very neatly which made it difficult for the Dutch players to find gaps. This victory meant that Austria managed to emerge as Group champion with six points from three games, while the Netherlands had to settle for being in third place with four points.

The Netherlands had to settle for qualifying as the best third place and they will meet the group winners in the round of 16. The results that have just been achieved by the Netherlands have further narrowed their chances of qualifying for the next round because even facing a team like Austria they were unable to win, especially when they met the group winners in the knock-out round.

All 4 teams need to win. We will watch two such exciting and beautiful matches. Slovenia looks better against England from what I saw in the first minutes. England started to make simple turnovers and they have to avoid such mistakes throughout the match. Slovenia is a team that will not forgive mistakes. It will be a good match

In such a group with France and the Netherlands, Austria is a rock-solid team right now and is the first in the group. What can we say in today's match? They played well and earned the points they deserved. I clearly did not expect the Netherlands to win this match, especially since this incident, which was an own goal scored by the Netherlands, happened very early.

Netherlands is okay, I never expected this performance from France.
