I thought the Netherlands would win easily but it was a bit of a struggle especially with a goal down in the first half although in the end the Netherlands won thanks to goals from Gakpo and Weghorst was the winner, he's a forgotten player and is now making a name for himself after missing out on Manchester United.

There are some good matches today. But the best match for me will be between Serbia and England. On paper, the English are the best team in the tournament. Weghorst again is a savior for Netherlands even his career is not too impressive and he failed at Manchester United. Verbruggen just make a great save for Netherlands and the match has some seconds to end.

Albania can create difficulty to Croatia too after showing their quality in a match with Italy. The task for Croatia is not only beating Italy but must beat Albania too and both opponents are not easy ones for Croatia. If they can not beat Albania, this Euro might complete too soon for Croatia.

Albania made big surprised by playing very well against Italy throughout that match. A lucky goal from Di Marco gift does not deny a good performance from Albania.

I think it can be a big change as Switzerland just does not convince me,Scotland it is true that they were destroyed by Germany yet they are far more powerful than what they showed during that game.I am sure they are going to beat Switzerland and I have gone and bet on them with an odd 4.20 now.I am sure they can do it as they managed to beat Spain who is an Euro contender during this year so yeah Switzerland was just lucky with Hungary as Hungary created many more chances which unfortunately they were not pragmatic enough to score all those goal chances.I think it can be a balanced game but of course one that can surely change the phase of the standings of this group right now,Scotland is the only team who can change things here as if they manage to beat Switzerland and Hungary can make this group quite unpredictable from what we are seeing now.

Yes, Spain's match against Croatia was very impressive because in that match it was clear that the Spanish players were really great at arranging strategies to catch Croatia's defense off guard because I think Croatia's defense was good, but because of the hard work of the Spanish players, Spain was finally able to score a goal. against Croatia and I also really liked Lamine Yamal's performance at almost the end of the first half he made a good pass and fortunately Carvajal was able to take advantage of this opportunity well which ultimately made Spain comfortable because they had scored 3 goals at the end of the first half and of course this is certain gave encouragement to the Spanish players, but for the Croatian players it was certainly not an easy matter to be able to reply to Spain's goal.

Poland started well by having the first goal of the game against the Netherlands, while the away team (Netherlands) feeling relaxed not until they conceded a goal before they started playing pretty well. Although the Netherlands are still pressing to get more goals in the first half but that didn't stop Poland from defending and getting the ball to the half of the away team but their crosses and chances haven't been convincing that they're going to get a goal.
With Lewandowskion the bench I don't know if bringing him would make a difference because the Poland side have been doing much of the defending than pushing forward to get a goal and on the other side Depay hasn't been bad in terms of getting things done on the opposition half, just some few hard luck to get the ball in the back of the net. First half ended in a 1-1 draw but the second half can go either way, I'll say a win for the Netherlands that's if they continue with this urgency and quick counted, they control the ball more than the home side, so is a win for them (Netherlands).

Lewandowski was on the bench maybe but Poland still didn't have much difficulty in scoring a goal. They even scored first. But other than that I can't say they are able to balance the game. 

Netherlands are able to produce many more dangerous attacks. If Poland don't defend strongly in the 2nd half, they won't be able to prevent a comeback probably. What an entertaining first half between Poland and Netherlands. I knew this match was going to live up to expectations, both teams are good and they have the quality to win this match. Although Poland opened the scoring and Netherlands equalized moments later. But if not for Gakpo and Memphis Depay wastefulness, Netherlands should have taken the lead before the close of the first half. Nathan Ake delivered two clear passes to both Gakpo and Memphis but they missed their opportunities, the most painful one is that of Memphis who should have put the ball at the back of the net.

Germany victory over Scotland is not surprising to me because it's obvious that German squad is more stronger than their opponent squad. I seriously expected Germany to win the game with a cleansheet but they didn't. Although, it is too early to make some predictions now since the tournament just kicked off and things might change but judging from the present situation, Germany will finish on top of the group.


Yeah, Italy and Spain have almost equal squad strength and watching these two playing will be interesting. I haven't watched both teams playing recently but Spain seems to have a higher chance to win the match considering the team strength. The game might probably end in draw if Italy hold the ground but I don't think they have what it takes to win over Spain presently.

yesterday it was a great Italy they played a really great match also considering the fact of the goal immediately conceded and it was the fastest goal ever scored at the European Championships in history, they knew how to react immediately and overturn the goal they deserved even more they could have done Also other goals there were many goal opportunities however great match now against Spain it will be tough but they can do it

Croatia must beat Italy to create their chance to get a second position, it's their only to control the game but it's easy to realize that match with Italy will not be easy for Croatia.

Croatia created some opportunities but they did not deserve a draw against Spain, Albania came more nearly to a draw against Italy but chance for Croatia is not broken after a first match. They still have a direct match with Italy to decide their rank in this group and Italy shown some defensive weakness in their match with Albania too. These weaknesses in defense can be exploited by Croatian players to beat Italy.

Croatia actually did not impress me but if they can go through a thin gate, they won't be an easy opponent in knock out matches.
