I don't really hope for this bet, but who knows, luck will be on my side.

Today we have 3 more games such as Spain and Italy are certainly favorites to win while Hungary and Switzerland not easy to predict but I took a risky bet both teams to score Yes. Hungary is one of the teams that made a surprise in the last few tournaments so I hope they do something today the same thing in Switzerland.

I think we're going to get more goals in this competition than they did last time in 2020, every team wants to show their all and we haven't seen the likes of Portugal, France, England, Netherlands e.t.c, teams that love scoring goals but let's watch what the next games will bring.
The German coach isn't a bad coach if you ask me and I wonder why they let him go at Bayern Munich, he has proven that he's better and can even do well with the Germany national side, since he took charge things with the host nation changed drastically but I can't really bank it on them to win the tournament not until we see what the other countries have in store. What Nagelsmann said only shows how important winning the title is to them and I believe he's going to make Germany to be one of the most feared country to face.

I thought the same. There wasn't much to win as the odds were favoring Germany obviously. But the game got a bit boring too early. The red card was the right decision though. When I saw it in slow motion, I had to close my eyes for a moment because it was so ugly. But well played by the Germans. Wirtz' goal was superb. Only one touch and the right spin and that's it. But I liked Musiala the most! How is it possible that he can dribble while he is crashing? He never loses balance with his body. I wish I had that balance. But it is time that several games per day are played. I always like these big events.

Damn, looks like you didn't miss a moment of the game. I only watched in the second half. Sometime around the 54th minute when Germany was up 3-0 so I missed Musiala and Wirtz's goals but I saw the replays at the end of the match. Musiala was crowned the man of the match and I agree with that decision not just because of his brilliant goal but because of his contributions to the Germany team throughout his time on the field.

About his stamina, some players are naturally gifted that way. Musiala is a skilled dribbler so I'm not surprised. Wink

It was actually not a surprise to me that Germany will win Scotland in the opening match of the euro 2024. But what rather became a surprise to me is the margin of goals that was scored. Another great surprise to me is the activities of the young Musiala who wore the iconic number 10 jersey of Germany. When I said last season that Musiala deserved the golden boy award above Bellingham, people thought I was joking. Jamal Musiala has a whopping 9.4 on a scale of 10 but the media decided to keep hyping the already made Toni kroos who managed 7.7
It is not that I'm comparing both, but I fell the young Musiala doesn't have the credit he deserves that even people were questioning why he was given jersey no 10.

Seriously people have underestimated this German team a lot and I don’t see why they are even rated lower interms of quality to win it most especially with the likes of England ahead of them. The German national team might have been shit this past few tournaments but this current squad seems the most complete to me. The likes of Sane and even Sergei Gnabry who would start for most countries in the tournament are even just good for the bench which shows a very strong squad at the moment. Coupled with the advantage of playing at home they will try to go all the way

If it hadn't been for that goal, they would have finished the match with a clean sheet. Germany showed their superiority in attack. Before the first game of the 2024 UEFA Euros Championship tonight between host nation Germany and Scotland kicked off, I had initially predicted that the Germans are going to come out victorious but little did I know they'll dominate the game to the extent they did. Scotland were second best in every contention they had tonight against Germany and right from the very first minute till the last minute of the game, the hosts played with so much determination.
It's a very good start for Germany who I think are very prepared for the tournament as they try to make up for their shortcomings in recent major tournaments they've participated in. For Scotland, I think they still have a chance if progressing from the group stage just that their chances became slimmer after tonight's defeat

As expected, Germany the host country has started the tournament with a big win against Scotland. This is a very important win for the German because it will help them to easily qualify to the next stage of the competition because every points important.
I must comment the effort of the German head coach Negelsmann for stating out this fantastic team of young players, and I will also comment the performance of all the players, they showed seriousness and they have the zeal of competing and I am sure they can do something in the tournament especially as they are the host country.

Why did you expect the match to end in a draw?

Spain have good winning record over Croatia because they won three out of their last five matches even though the matches are always tough.
Nevertheless, looking at the squad of the both team, I must say that match will be tough as usual because both the two teams have experienced players to guide the young players, but I have confidence in Spain over Croatia.
