Spain are leading the game with two goals, scored within five minutes, and knowing this Spain team, I say that Croatia surely has no way back from this because Spain will push to score more goals as they usually do. Spain team are showing lots of vibrancy with the young, hungry and experienced players that they have mixed in their team. This points will be important for Spain because they have Italy in their group, and even Croatia who are loosing currently cannot still be ruled out. Croatia and Italy remain a strong threat to Spain's plan to qualify past this stage.

Croatia didn't start the game badly indeed. But the score says it is 2-0 advantage for Spain anyway. The goals came by a short interval and Croatia are in shock after a good start. Do you think they can come back from this situation? Honestly I don't think it would happen. Spain are really good at securing wins in this kind of situations.

I'm enjoying the game just as expected.    There is a high tension and I hope to see it until the end. I was thinking of betting on Spain win & both teams to score and the odds must be quite high as far as I remember. If it happens I will be sad for not betting on it.  

Hungary performed very well and stunned the team Switzerland with the way they performed is simply amazing and it is good to watch the match but Switzerland lost the game completely in the second half.

Spain didn't look strong at all except the first 10 minutes of the game and just when I thought Croatia just got back in the game Spain totally demolished them with just 2 goals in 2 minutes,I guess that is the end for Croatia,for their great group of players which unfortunately are very old of age compared averagely with the other teams and the fun fact is that Croatia has the oldest players of the Euro which is Modric and Spain the youngest one 16 year old Jamal.It is a total disaster for Croatia as I doubt they can come back after this although they are trying and they just had a very strong chance to make the gap smaller.I am sure the second half is going to be very beautiful as Croatia got nothing to lose now and will go all out.We are in a three teams making it out of 4,not of all groups yet the possibilities are good,yet you don't want to find yourself beaten with a great goal difference,this can even remove the hope for the third place taking for granted that all teams of Group B will beat Albania (I doubt that would be the case).

Morata was able to find the back of the net with a clean finish on the 28th minutes as he was given a good pass and he was so confident enough as he held the ball in between 2 Croatia defenders and took a brilliant shot. Oh Spain has just destroyed Croatia defense again by Fabian Ruiz after was able to do some ball work by creating space in dribbling twice before he took the shot into the back of the post. Two goals in three minutes. The Spanish players are at a good advantage of winning this game now.

Sometimes football doesn't go the way we see it or expect it to be, yea for sure Italy are favorite to the win to night match against Albania because they have more experience player than Albania but that doesn't mean they might trashed Albania just the way the Germans machine trashed Scotland yesterday. We shouldn't be surprised if Albania should win Italy tonight that is the nature of football anything can happen my self I always believed in full time .

There was no difficulty for Switzerland in this match, previously i thought that the match would end in a draw, but that didn't happen and it even became a match for over bets. Luckily i didn't place any bets on this match. The gap in the odds is quite high, it proves that we will see a dominant game from Spain with ball possession, and i think Croatia only has a chance of drawing here, winning the match is very difficult with the current odds.

Hungary performed better in the second half because it looked like they had a strong motivation to catch up with Switzerland, and when compared with the first half, Hungary became a good team move with dispatch. It's just that from the several good opportunities they had, they could only score 1 goal, and what is very unfortunate is that they again made a fatal mistake which became their nightmare. A blunder in the final minute paved the way for Switzerland to get their third goal.

Im not underestimating Croatia, but it is impossible for the bookmaker to give odds of 2+ for Spain to win against Croatia.
That will only happen when Spain face another favorite team in this Euro or in a group match that is no longer important for Spain.
And the odds for Spain have started to going down now, only 1.85x, this is definitely because more people are betting on Spain to win than a draw or Croatia to win.
Whats interesting is, that Under 2.5 only gets 1.73x - It looks like there wont be many goals in this match.

Germany has done their best and they have gotten pretty good results, I think this big victory has increased the motivation of the German players to be able to maintain their good performance.
On the one hand, we see that Scotland's performance was very bad, but I see on the other hand that Germany played much more prepared so they were able to make Scotland unable to do many things in this match and in terms of quality, Germany was far above Scotland, so this victory it is quite natural for Germany to get it.

It may be true, the odds available now look like a trap. But considering Spain's performance in qualifying, I think they deserve to be favorites over Croatia. Of course Croatia is a strong team with good player depth, but I actually think Spain has better quality.

Nico Williams, Morata and Lamine Yamal are believed to be able to help Spain lead this match with a win. It feels like Lamine Yamal has taken on big responsibilities too quickly in the Spanish national team, but this 16 year old youngster has the credentials to take on big tasks in the first team. Yamal is too young in my opinion, but his appearance is no longer like a player his age.

Pedri, Rodri and Fabian Ruiz are expected to be able to control the middle game and help the attack be more effective, but this is a difficult game so I think it is very difficult to guess who can win. Croatia is good with its main squad composition, they are also dangerous and should not be underestimated.

I guess nobody has expected that result and how they was playing yesterday against Scotland.
But Scotland was in my opinion really bad somehow and they dont know whats going on.
On top of that Germany showed a very nice good performance with whole team.
Fingers crossed that they can keep this energy in the next games also.

This could be a trap odd. They wouldn't want to give Spain to high an odd (2+) so they balance it out by giving Croatia a very inviting odd tempting players to take it.
Worth risking. 1.91 odd with a double chance on Croatia than taking Spain win, same odds.

The expected favorites of Group A have not put a foot wrong yet while Hungary made far too many mistakes today.

Albania made history for their national football by being eligible for this Euro. They will enjoy this Euro and have nothing to lose so they will play with all things they have and as being said, simply enjoy their first Euro.

Albania have less experience than Scotland in World Cup and Euro and can be a victim of Italy. Italy is different than Germany and they don't often win big like Germany against weak team. It can help Albania to avoid big loss like Scotland under Germany but I believe Albania will not have any point from Italy.

Italy is in a harder group than Germany so they must beat Albania before two harder matches with Spain and Croatia. If they can not beat Albania, they will have more risk to go home after three matches in their group. Therefore, get 3 points from Albania is very important with Italy and less likely they will drop points in this match.

Italy with their tradition and favorite tactics won't play too attacking and they don't have good attacking players to do this too. Their player quality is worse than in Euro 2020 with Mancini as their head coach. Spaletti and Mancini are coaches who favorite attacking but Spaletti is realistic to know that Italy must win this match and won't be allowed to make mistake. They must get three points and make a foundation for next two matches with Spain and Croatia, that will decide their ending rank in this challenging group.

It's boring, but Italy also has sharpness that is quite troublesome for opponents. It's true that every time you see Italy play it's always like that, but what makes them have a characteristic that is difficult for their opponents to anticipate is that they are tough in defending their back line. The Italian players were not careless even though they were repeatedly pressed, pressed with limited time, but they used a slow but sure attack method. That's what always makes me curious to see Italy appear on the field. Hopefully this season Italian squad can really provide a different atmosphere. Don't expect too much but we won't know until it starts. The opponent was Albania, historically I don't really follow the development of football in that country and the names of the players are still unfamiliar.

Well I don't know if anyone was as shocked as I was when I saw the scoreline, because thats not what I expected seeing how Germany have been struggling to meet up with their performance these last two to three years, but with this kind of start they will definitely be a team to watch out for because if they continue like this then other teams would need to watch out for this German team.

Switzerland could score one more goal. Both strikers were able to score though. Hungary were better team than the 1st half.

When I see such odds, I think of a draw match. We could see the first draw of Euro 2024.

We have left another lovely match behind. To tell the truth, I thought Hungary would make the match quite boring by playing very defensively.    But it didn't matter for Switzerland anyway, a comfortable win.



Now we have the main event of the day is ahead, Spain v Croatia. I didn't see any change in the odds for a long time. 1.91 for Spain while Croatia are given 4.40. Isn't the gap of odds too high you think?    Because I don't think Croatia will be easy meat. They are known by making serious difficulties for top teams. Probably we will see a ball possession game for Spain and Croatia will look for counter-attacks. I think Croatia have a chance to draw at least.

Now the match has entered the second half of extra time. The score is still 1-2 in favor of Switzerland. but moments before the match finished Switzerland increased their lead, now the score was 1-3 and Hungary had to admit Switzerland's superiority in their first match.
previously Germany won with a very convincing score. and Switzerland looks like they will be their strongest competitors in group A. Germany's next match will be against Hungary, and that will be a very difficult match for Hungary because they have to face one of the teams that is the favorite.

I'm worried that Italy will play slowly because Italy's game is often boring even though they are always at the top and are the champions because the players featured are players who have a winning mentality so it's not surprising that there are many Italian fans when they compete, Italy must maintain its status as defending champion even though and that he is in the same group as Spain so whatever they have to do to still qualify for the next round..
