I'll have a long laugh if Italy loses to North Macedonia today and doesn't make it to the big tournament again because of them... If that happens, then Macedonia can be called the Italian curse... I don't rule out that this could happen because the first game was a draw... But I really hope that Italy will win...

Italy will fight against North Macedonia today and win result is mandatory for Italy if they want to qualified but North Macedonia apparently is not weak opponent for them because in the last 3 matches Italy was unable to beat North Macedonia so this is hard match for Italy and if they draw or even lose then Italy will not be qualified so they have to collect 3 points from this match

About team condition Italy was a bit unlucky because some of their players were got injured even Spaletti has been confirmed that Manuel Locatelli and Alessandro Bastoni certainly will not be available but today Juventus player Federico Gatti will replace Bastoni position on the team and Moise Kean also in the good fitness and probably will be played since the beginning of match and i was a bit surprised to see the odds for Italy because the bookmakers provided low odds for them @1.15

uefa has unveiled the match ball for euro 2024 in germany. its called 'Fussballliebe' (Football Love) - and contains a technology that is being used for the first time at a european championship final.
according to uefa, the ball contains 'connected ball technology', which will be used for the first time at a uefa euro round. the association speaks of the 'unprecedented insights' provided by the technology. the movement and position of the ball will be tracked more precisely, which should also benefit the decision-making processes of the var assistant...

To tell the truth I can't get very hyped about this new technology already now. Because even a great technology like VAR has been abused in so many matches so far.  Sad

I mean in those matches VAR made such horrible decisions that they weren't very different than mistakes a simple referee can make. I really would like to see this new technology to get ahead of this issue and drop the number of such incidents at least in Euro 2024. I hope they don't still continue to make mistakes despite having a more detailed view of an incident with this technology.
As each new technology makes sports management more perfect and easier, I think there is a lot of criticism of that technology. Video Assistant Refereeing has been a great technology for football as it can accurately tell if a goal is well scored or if the referee is off site correctly but we have also seen many criticisms of this technology. Yes some controversial decisions have come from this technology but most of the decisions made football easier to manage. If the technologists bring any new technology instead of this technology then that technology will definitely be updated but there is no guarantee that that technology will give hundred percent correct decision. As technology advances so does the debate.

Poland's hopes of qualifying for the main tournament of Euro 2024 depend on their result against the Czech Republic. One point ahead of their opponents in the Czech Republic, with a game in hand. If Poland are to qualify for next summer's European Championships, there is no choice but to win here. Even if Poland win, they will have to rely on the results of the Czech and Moldovan matches to qualify. The hosts stumbled last time out with a 1-1 draw at home to Moldova and were beaten 3-1 away against the Czechs. The Czech Republic have won just one of their last four matches, a 1-0 win over the Faroe Islands in October. The Czech Republic will have a place in the main tournament if they can win today. Today's match is more likely to be a 1-1 draw.

@Ayers this seems like a bad idea because this technology should have been tested in a big league first to see how effective it is and all player’s and coaches are already tired of VAR so I’m sure that they won’t be happy to see this technology in action. Furthermore I won’t be surprised if this new technology also messes it up because VAR is very bad and if it messes a big match result then fans will never forgive UEFA for introducing it.

Why do I feel like every new thing that they introduce our actually something that can be exploited and that can actually manipulate the result of a match?  With the VAR I thought almost all the problems were going to be solved. But it has created new problems and new controversies. So I think this new technology is also going to create more controversy. This will probably also create some questionable moments. Technology has definitely improved how the game has been played. But this is the time when I think such technology is honestly not needed.

I hope with the stars that Portugal are having in this fixture it won't end in a draw or 0-2 win, at least Cr7 need to score more goals to increase his goal scoring record.
The match was unbalanced with Portugal having everything and it was a one-sided affair with Portugal dominating the match. It was now extra time and those 2 goals seemed to be enough to bring the 3 points back as well as a club that hasn't lost a game so far.
There was one more goal scored on a beautiful set piece but it was ruled out by VAR for offside but even so I think it's over because it's going to be very difficult for Liechtenstein who are far behind in terms of players and experience from Portugal and with this result Portugal cemented their position at the top of the table.

The game is suppose to be one sided, when you're seeing the Portuguese running round the field just to get their presence felt, as the bigger boys in town. They have all the forces in that game and when they started scoring I think it was almost 3 goals that was chopped off, it shows how careful the home team was to get a draw (unfortunately it didn't happen).
Who knows if they had cancelled the 2 goals that was scored by  CR7 and Cancelo the game would have ended in a draw. So i think the visitors did poorly in that encounter against Liechtenstein.

I also found a good opportunity in the Portugal x Liechtenstein match, paying 2.60 if Cristiano Ronaldo scores the first goal. I think it has a good chance of happening

Finally my losing streak in betting is over and I thank Cristiano Ronaldo hehe  Grin
I bet on him scoring the first goal of the match, and managed to win the bet, with 2.60 odds
More important than the odds was breaking the bad streak I was on, I think it was already 6 or 7 bets.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing well this year so much for both club and his country that you could expect him to be the first goal scorer for Portugal in this game. It is not an easy bet to make still, but it is worth it considering the odds. Portugal maintain their dominance on their group with 27 points, making them strong candidate to me to win the Euros next year in Germany. This present Portugal team have everything it takes to win it, they also have Christiano Ronaldo.

The match wasn't difficult at all for Spain. As expected, they won. They took a 3-0 lead in the first 28 minutes. The real surprise was that they couldn't score any goals afterwards.
Cyprus didn't win any game among the 8 matches played by them in this group stage. Worse, they only scored only 2 goals in total, while receiving 22 goals before Spain match. To say that Spain could have scored more goals and certainly don't receive any goal by such a weak team.
In this group, Spain will most likely end first followed by Scotland. There is group F and J also where the two first team already qualified. The exception is in group F, where it is not clear which team will end first between Austria and Belgium.

Games that have no goals from the first half to the end of the game is just boring to watch, and this Liechtenstein vs Portugal game is one of those games we expect to see goals coming in from different angles but no it didn't happen.
The first half of the game is quite disappointing to me, because I was expecting to see the visitors (Portugal) dropping like 3-4 goals before heading into half-time but is still goalless.
I hope with the stars that Portugal are having in this fixture it won't end in a draw or 0-2 win, at least Cr7 need to score more goals to increase his goal scoring record.

It's been a very good fight from the Liechtenstein national football team to have been able to prevent the Portuguese side from getting to the back of the net for first 45 minutes of the game, showing a high level of concentration and defensive ability but you need more than that to keep Christiano Ronaldo and his colleagues at bay, because these guys never stop until they burst the net of their opponents, a very enticing pace from the Portuguese midfielder and a masterclass finish from Ronaldo and another juicy goal from jao cancelo is what separates the Portuguese side from their host Liechtenstein tonight.

When you play against the best or let me say against a team that have the ability of scoring much goals, when you play against such a team you don't rest until the final whistle, they keep coming and coming till they get all the goals they want. As for Portugal the did everything but ended up scoring 2 goals, which I'm no ok with coming from a team we all know can score more than 2 goals.
I must give it to the home side to hold the visitors down, to only get 2 goals, if it were some other weaker side I believe the Portuguese would have smashed them with lots of goals, at least in this encounter CR7 get to score to add it to his tally.

Spain topped the standings due to a convincing win over Cyprus.
Yamal became the first player in this match to make Spain lead 1-0 after 5 minutes of the match. 1-3 final score. Spain tops the standings with 18 points.

The match wasn't difficult at all for Spain. As expected, they won. They took a 3-0 lead in the first 28 minutes. The real surprise was that they couldn't score any goals afterwards. Those who bet on over goal and those who thought there would be more goals lost their bets. Spain plays like that sometimes. In one part of the game, they increase the pressure and score goals one after another, but then they cannot score.
Cyprus was the weakest team in this group. They couldn't even get 1 point in 8 matches. It's normal for them to be happy because they scored a goal. After all, they were facing one of the title favorites of Euro 2024. Even scoring a goal against this team is a great success for Cyprus.
Spain is once again proving to be the most star-studded team in the group A of the Euro 2024 qualifyers. After starting the qualifying campaign in a bad note, Spain are vat at the top of the Group A.
Lamine Yamal is just a joy to watch and a potential future starman of the Spanish national team, he's just too good for a boy of his age and if he continues to be this impressive, he'll surely join the club of Spanish national football greats.

Almost all my bets went completely wrong tonight. Maybe Azerbaijan win against Sweden isn't huge upset, but final 3:0, didn't saw this coming.
And Bulgaria taking point from Hungary is big surprise too. They were close from winning it, but Hungary scored goal on 97th minute and 1 point was enough for them to claim ticket to Euro 2024.
Luxembourg leading 2:0 Bosnia and Herzegovina and they dominate game, while Portugal scored just 1 goal vs Liechtenstein after almost 60 minutes. EDIT. While writting this post they got 2nd goal.
I won all of them the first 5 matches easily, played all goals and all won easily. But now had Portugal two goals in first half and only lost that. Expected them to score a couple of goals easily in the first half but for some reason they couldnt break them and in second half they already scored two fast goals.

Cyprus celebrated their goal more than Spain celebrated their win because they have had a difficult time in this qualification and have hardly scored. Some teams come into games knowing that they will not be able to win, this game for Cyprus is just an example of it. They already knew that it was going to take a lot to stop Spain from scoring, and even more to score against them. They were able to break the Spanish defense and score a goal, but couldn't win the game. Spain top the group and Cyprus remain at the bottom.

Today's games are being very complicated for many teams, for example in the case of Hungary, they played against Bulgaria, in this game Hungary was favorite to win the game, looking at the current position of Bulgaria which is in the last position and that has been performing poorly so on paper it was supposed that Hungary would be able to win the game easily, mainly because Bulgaria hadn't won in the last 5 games, but there is an interesting factor and that is that Bulgaria only had one defeat in the last 5 games and had 4 draws in the last 4 games. so the chances of a draw in this game could also be very high

given the fact that Hungary was also coming off a draw in the last game, so I'm not surprised by this draw, but I'm surprised by everything that happened in that game, it was a troubled game. There were 2 red cards, 1 penalty and an own goal. Hungary came very close to losing in this game, they came out victorious thanks to luck. but this puts them in a situation that does not offer them security. We'll see how the other teams in this group do. In my opinion this is a very unpredictable group

This is the part that I wonder the most, we all remember some balls are not loved by the players all that much, some of them hated some of the balls and it doesn't fit them and not feels natural. So I am thinking, since this is a new thing, will this ball be liked by the players and make them play normally? Or would it be something that would be horrible and make the players hate it and they would all play much worse then they normally play? I am not sure, but by the looks of it the ball will have different feeling without a doubt, it doesn't look like it will be good at all.

I believe that we are going to have some sort of situation that has to be changing like some alternative ball, a normal regular ball, you can paint the outside similar, but have that alternative ready. Why? Because these are not players who like toe b tested and not really hate the ball the yare given, if the ball is terrible and hated by everyone, players could riot about it and ask for a change.
