To tell the truth I can't get very hyped about this new technology already now. Because even a great technology like VAR has been abused in so many matches so far.

I really would like to see this new technology to get ahead of this issue and drop the number of such incidents at least in Euro 2024. I hope they don't still continue to make mistakes despite having a more detailed view of an incident with this technology.

But the ball is meant for kicking. That’s why I am a little worried, about how all of these are going to turn out to be. @Ayers this seems like a bad idea because this technology should have been tested in a big league first to see how effective it is and all player’s and coaches are already tired of VAR so I’m sure that they won’t be happy to see this technology in action. Furthermore I won’t be surprised if this new technology also messes it up because VAR is very bad and if it messes a big match result then fans will never forgive UEFA for introducing it.

A defeat then a draw reduced their chances since Romania and Switzerland are 4 points in advance. Not really, as there are few scenarios in play. For the sake of the argument, let's say that we (Croatia) wins both games. In that case, Wales has to win in both of their games as well meaning that even a draw vs Turkey will mean Croatia finishes 2nd in the group. Problem here (for Croatia) is that Turkey secured first position so for that that last game won't mean anything but on the other hand, Armenia still has a chance to finish 2nd so maybe they manage to at least get a draw vs Wales which would help us a lot.

Basically we still have some mathematical calculations left, but in the end it all depends on the games that will be played. The ones who are going up are already decided, and if we ignore the others, the ones who have a chance, will fight to the last minute, to the last whistle of the game. Croatia's situation is very difficult, but if they confidently beat Latvia and Armenia, which is quite possible, then they can score the same 16 points as Turkey and have a better goal difference. And under this condition, if Turkey loses to Wales, then they may lose first place, so Turkey will have to at least play the match with Wales to a draw. I think Croatia should make it to the playoffs, they are too strong a team to stop playing in the group stage.
