Previously I thought the match would be boring because after what we saw previously in the matches they had so far, but what happened was unexpected, both teams played quite impressively throughout the first half and continued to be able to put a lot of pressure on both teams defenses, even though we didn't see a fierce match like in the France and Spain match, but in my opinion the match between England and the Netherlands was quite entertaining to watch, England managed to beat the Netherlands very dramatically and the inclusion of Watkins was actually the difference for the England squad in that match, from several previous matches previously played by England, it was clear that their game was starting to improve a little and would most likely be able to trouble Spain in the final round.

The match between Spain and England will be the final match that is quite eagerly awaited, but if we look at the current statistics of the two teams, of course Spain is the team that is more favored to win the Euro this year, England game is starting to improve but Southgate should still be able to improve the quality of the game them to face Spain who have so far had an aggressive game.

I know everyone is now supports Spain to win the final against England. Spain has done great since the group stage. But, I'm still sticking to my choice. I believe England will win the last game in Euro 2024.
I know my chance to win is slightly lower than anyone who is now rooting for Spain. But, I still trust in England.

That's it. Kane's curse is still ongoing. I hope Southgate will consider replacing him. Southgate should do it with another striker in England's squad. Kane can soon sit on the bench, then wait for his teammates to carry him to get euro 2024 trophy. This is better for kane rather than play, but his team won't get the trophy. If Southgate is smart enough to bench kane, and im sure england can win the competition.

Regardless of what happens, I think England deserved to win the match and advance to the final.
This was quite a fierce match, I saw the Netherlands play so openly in the second half that they had to concede in the final minutes of the match, it was very painful.

The final will be England vs Spain, these are two different teams if we look at the start of this tournament, Spain has been quite consistent so they are in the final while England's performance is not that good but if we look overall there is improvement in each match.

I favored England in the final, Euro 2020, then they were also in the final but lost to Italy so I hope that doesn't happen again this year.

Ohhh it turns out that Ollie Watkins was the one who delivered England to the final to meet Spain, not surprisingly only Southgate was able to deliver his national team to the final several times.

Many doubted Southgate in previous matches (including myself doubting) but now realize that Southgate's tactics are better than other coaches where we also did not expect that England would go to the final while previously judging from the resistance of Switzerland and Slovakia which at the beginning it was difficult to win.

We will see the final in a few days, do you believe England can beat Spain? Statistically, no, but anything can happen and we have to enjoy it.

We watched a similar game to Spain - France first of all. Multiple goals in the first half and a boring second half. However it was still nice to see 3 goals in regular time. 

The penalty decision has been discussed a lot. Honestly I believe it was the right decision. There was clearly a kick to the foot there so it must be deserving a penalty. The funny thing was that Palmer and Watkins both entered the game late and changed the fate of it.    I just don't understand why Southgate doesn't start with Palmer... Watkins' goals was superb by the way as his angle was really tight. Now we have Spain - England finale and I'm all in for Spain. 

The group stage and second round of this competition were boring. The games were not very entertaining maybe because the players have not blended. There were fewer goals and teams had to depend on luck to win. But there has been an improvement in the games in the quarterfinal and more quality matches in the semi-finals. The first semifinal match between France and Spain was good but yesterday's game was classy. Both teams were outstanding but what made the difference was the tactical strategy of the English coach Gareth Southgate. Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins were just the magic cards. I have always doubted the competence of Southgate but my stance is changing gradually.

Probably the better team on the night. It was definitely a game of two halves with the Dutch
scoring in the 8th minute and then failing to make any progress, giving the ball away too easily
and allowing England to dominate possession and have good attacking play. In the second half
it was the Netherlands who had most possession but struggled to break the defense of England
but still had a few chances after some changes made by Koeman.

There is definitely controversy surrounding this match even before it was played because of the
ref appointment of Felix Zwayer. I didnt realise this yesterday but it seems this appointment was
a ticking time bomb and in a way the significance of it actually had a bearing on the match.

It has centered around Jude Bellingham both in relation to the match fixing scandal back in 2021
and last night when the ref booked Bellingham in the 72nd minute and could have booked him later
after he kicked the ball away for a Netherlands free? the ref definitely had a conflict of interests
of that match last night.

England played very well yesterday, if you evaluate in the game they acted better in attack, maybe the reason is that they conceded first, because they always start playing more actively after that, but they acted like that from the very beginning, the Netherlands decided to give them the initiative and perhaps this was their mistake. Perhaps the moment with the penalty was dubious, I can’t determine for sure, on the one hand it was a kick on Kane’s foot, on the other hand it was after hitting the ball, anyway, England are in the final and now Spain is waiting for its opponent.

A big congratulations to the English team, for progressing to the finals of this year euros, though I thought the game would have gone to extra time, because in the first half, it was very clear that england was the better team, even though the Netherlands got the first goal, and the English team would have gotten their second goal earlier if they were taking most of their chances, in the second half the Netherlands grew into the game and start seizing the initiative which I initially thought that they would have utilize and got their second goal, but they didn't.
Everything changed for the English team when they brought on luck shaw, cole palmer and  Watkins, and to be frank, they were the match winners,  because they improve the English team immediately, and cole palmer eventually setting up Watkins for the winning goal.

So as for the final between Spain vs england, I would be betting on Spain to win by a two goal margin or more, because I don't think the English team has what it takes to tame this Spanish team that are currently on 🔥 fire.

England will not change its strategy because this is the best strategy of Southgate even though we realize that this scheme is quite bad because with this scheme England plays always monotonous because the performance is not as expected but nothing can be done because Southgate's strength in coaching is only up to this level.

Although there is indeed a slight difference with them playing a little better for this semi-final when compared to the previous game but still in the end England's game has not improved throughout this Euro.

The final they will face Spain, this is definitely the most difficult condition or even the most difficult match they have done so far because from the group phase to the semi-finals only the Netherlands is their strongest opponent and comparable in terms of level but for the final they will get a more commensurate opponent even far superior when talking about finals and champions.

The poor kind of play is really a turn off for me with the England squad, things we should have been seeing from other smaller teams are what we're seeing coming from a team that have tested the finals before, even the smaller nations in this tournament played better than the 3 Lions. England struggle to play as a unit even with the best if players that dominated most part of Europe (base on club levels) and coming together to play thrash is something many even the supporters should be worried about.
Although they qualified to play the number 51 game of the tournament but can they still use same pattern to go against an already made team? Fine you'd say in football anything can happen but I wouldn't want to see Spain losing that final to England to say the truth, if England do win, we can never stop hearing something like "Foden the Euros winner with the ball, he played a vital role for England become Champions of Euros 2024" from commentators in the EPL, like the over hyping will be massive.
I agree with you about taking chances but let's be true on that game, Netherlands lost that composure after conceding the goal from the spot, they weren't that difficult to play against and is like they don't know what was at stake, I believe that you'd see a more challenging 3rd place game than the finals on Sunday.

Even though I didn't watch this match, congratulations on winning your bet for England, these two countries are both strong and have talented young players, but on the other hand, the quality of the game and mentality of the English players is no longer in doubt, they deserve to win.    this and advance to the Final round to meet Spain, this is the second time England has qualified for the Final and previously at last season's Euro they failed, at least at this season's Euro they can get the trophy they failed at last season's Euro.

I mean he also failed to win matches where the odds were in their favor, most of the time their performance was not convincing either. I know they can play a good game based on the players that they have, so it's not a surprise if they play decently. The question is about consistency and the way they win IMO. Fair play to him for winning the match though, and he admitted it is his best achievement as the England manager til now[1].

All England players showed up today and I’m very happy for them but still, England is the luckiest country in this tournament, after having a poor performance from the group stage and they are now in the final of the tournament, to be honest football is something that we can never predict, I know some people will predict Netherland to win England in the match and they were all shock with the performance of England, I was thinking England is going to play that kind of game they have been playing from the beginning but unfortunately, they changed the game and that is the only way they can defeat Netherland.

England calmed down the game for the Netherlands so that the Netherlands would not win easily and the Netherlands doesn’t know how to calm down a game, all they know is to play a faster game like a counter and score goals, let’s be honest with ourselves Gareth Southgate is a coach that even if you criticize him he will still play the way he wants his players to play and win a game for him, I think we need to give him his credit for the team performance because he deserves it.

England is a very suitable opponent for Spain in the Euro 2024 final because of the efforts that England has made from the group stage until yesterday, being able to beat the Netherlands in the semifinals is quite an extraordinary effort. England was a little bit better. Netherlands scored an early goal by Xavi Simons, but they didn't create any goal opportunities afterwards(except one header by Denzel Dumfries). I didn't see any offside, when Saka scored a second goal for England. The penalty was 100%, I don't know why so many people keep whining and complaining about this penalty. I had the feeling that the Dutch team was waiting for the added time, but they got punished by Watkins. Replacing Kane with Watkins was a great decision by Southgate.
Anyway, I want Spain to win the final. They had a better overall performance throughout the tournament. England is playing terrorball, not football.

One thing is certain, England will be defeated by Spain.

Not so friends, the Euro final is a match that will be quite fierce, and England should not be underestimated, they had a significant improvement in performance in the semifinals when they beat the Netherlands so the same thing could also happen in the final.
Every team that has been in the final has the same percentage of winning the title, that's what you have to remember.

Yeah I believe Harry Kane's curse is still working, it doesn't mean Kane is a bad player, he contribute a lot for England, but despite his big contribution, he will not get any trophy. Spain will win this match, they already beat many top teams like Italia (Serie A), Germany (Bundesliga) and France (Ligue 1), next is England (Premier League).
