There was a big match yesterday in the European competition where Spain and France played against each other with Spain winning against France. Spain performed brilliantly in their quarter-final match against Germany, defeating Germany to secure the semi-finals.

We noticed the same thing with France although France had to use a tiebreaker to win against Portugal. Mbappe is playing for France with some injuries and we don't see his regular game from him while Spain is performing consistently. I thought this match would be a draw but in the end Spain won.

One of the most dangerous players in Netherlands is Gakpo who did not have too good performances in Liverpool and failed to get a main position there. In contrast when he plays for his national team, he looks to be a very different player, more ambitious and better confident.

If Southgate does not warn his players especially defensive players enough about danger of Gakpo, England will have to pay a high cost in the semi final match. Southgate did not let England to play too attacking in Euro 2024 and when there is only one more match till the final, he has no reason to change his favorite defensive-prioritizing tactics. This will affect ability of England to create opportunity, continue to have low xG and might have troubles to score goal again.

Netherlands lost in World Cup 2022 in penalties and will not want to repeat that failure this year. If they can not win in 90 or 120 minutes, they will have enough preparation for penalties after losing at this spot 2 years ago and after witnessing how English players shot penalties very confidently and accurately.

France were already struggling to score goals until reaching this stage. They conceded only 1 goal as well maybe but this time the opponent was Spain. I was expecting Spain to make them serious difficulties and thankfully they did.  

I don't want to see a team with a nonaesthetic football in the final stage. Spain showed France how it is done.    Now they are excitedly waiting for their opponent to finish the job and lift the trophy.

I think the England v Netherlands match won't end without extra time at least. England theoretically have a much more quality squad but when it comes to their game it is a disaster... I hope they get rid of Southgate soon no matter how they end up in Euro 2024.

France had to accept defeat in the Spain vs France match. I think in the first half many people thought that France would be the winners, because in the 9th minute Randal Kolo Muani managed to score a header through an assist provided by Kylian Mbappe, but unfortunately, in the 21st minute Lamine Yamal managed to equalize the score at 1-1 for Spain, not long after, Dani Olmo managed to score a goal in the 25th minute, the score became 2-1 and lasted until the end of the first half. In the second half, unfortunately France could not score a goal at all, even though the Manager had tried various tactics and replaced 4 players, France could not equalize, until the end of the half France had to suffer defeat.

From beginning, Randal Kolo Muani Scored a goal at 9th minutes behalf of France and it supposed to be France will do well but situation changed when Spain scored 2goals one after another between 4 minutes gap. One was Lamine Yamal at 21th minutes and another was done by  Dani Olmo at 25th minutes. After that 1st half over. And after the start of 2nd half, Spain took the whole control and it seems France was helpless. I was waiting for M. Bappe or another player who could score a goal behalf of France in last minutes but guess what? Spain were about to score a 3rd goal against France lol. And finally spain won the match with 2-1 goals and become quality for the UEFA Euro final

In terms of coaching skills between Southgate and Ronald Koeman I don't really know who is the best among them because they both have good qualities in coaching and considering there careers they also have a good record, so actually I can imagine the kind of strategy that would be going through there mind now considering there match today, though the Netherlands team will be playing from there home so there should be some kind of advantages they would have but with how I'm looking at England I think they are more prepare than Netherlands and in terms of there players they also have more than Netherlands.

Gareth Southgate is getting a lot of attention at the moment because he is considered to have failed to take advantage of the quality of the existing players. The England team's performance throughout this Euro has been quite bad, even though they have managed to qualify for the semifinals, but in terms of team play there is nothing impressive, that's true, but if we Judging from what has happened since the past, the English National Team has been like that, there are quite a lot of star players but the team's performance is just ordinary, that is also happening now.

I think the percentage for England and the Netherlands to advance to the final is quite the same, England relies on the individual potential of its players as happened in the previous match and the Netherlands, with fairly even team strength, will also get the same percentage.

Almost everyone predicted same result, Spain has been better in this competition so far and it was quite obvious that France has been struggling with goals but with their strong defense I didn’t expect them to concede 2 goals in this tie. Spain played well and they deserved the win.

From the matches i have watched so far i think i will have to disagree with you on this, Dembele has actually been a good driver who takes on defenders even though he is not always lucky with goals. He caused commotion in Portugal’s defense when he came on against Portugal. Dembele has been very good with takeons and creating chances so i won’t say he is the worst player for France.

Well said, the comparison is so disrespectful for Dembele but it’s just as you said most Barcelona supporters are still carrying that hate for Dembele because of what happened and so they feel they can compare him to anyone. He’s got talent and has the potential to become an even better player than Dembele but until then they shouldn’t compare him to more experienced players. Ansu Fati had similar breakthrough and was also very bright and talented but where is he now? Let’s hope Yamal doesn’t end up as Ansu Fati.

The truth is England hasn't really played a good football till this moment. Just like France who were lucky till they got to the semi finals and saw a real game yesterday against Spain, that how I feel about England. Today is really going to expose them if they are ready a side that's ready and worthy of the final. Netherlands are going to give England a proper football game tonight. Netherlands are good in coming from behind and win matches, so even if England score them first they will fight and get back to the game. But if Netherlands manage to score first it will be difficult for England to come back. Although this semi finals will be different from the friendly matches they have had with Netherlands, so I'm expecting a more decent performance from England today.

I admit Southgate is bad, but he is really saved by the players he currently has in the national team. Although in terms of quality, it could actually be much better if Southgate was able to use it well. Southgate's position in qualifying for the semifinals could be said to be just luck, because without Bellingham's goal at that time England could have lost.

Against the Netherlands today is a challenge for Southgate to carry out a slightly different strategy, in the sense that he has to demand himself to be better.
