What could possibly hinder Italy from qualifying to the next round? They might perform mediocrely in coming fixtures, which will create a big doubt for their supporters. Italy faces North Macedonia and Ukraine, Italy will definitely not rule their chances of winning, rather they will strike for a more appropriate results. A solid team like Croatia shouldn't have much problem on dealing with them. When it comes to Wales their remaining matches are against Armenia away and Turkey home.

Croatia stimulates my interest because they are one of the most competitive teams this season, with good points in Group D despite the presence of Turkey, Wales, Armenia, and Latvia. While I consider these teams to be no threat to Croatia, it is still shocking to see some of these teams defeat the overhyped Croatia. I'm certainly intrigued because they have tremendous players but are not rated first or second in the group standings. Last time Italy lost the opportunity to play at the World Cup because of North Macedonia and it was a surprise for all the fans. I am sure that this time Italy will not make such a mistake. Ukraine will not be able to prevent them from getting to the European Championship. Probably this is the case when statistics tell the truth.

The record is worth nothing. I see that many bring this up as a dataset that they base their predictions on, but do you think a single Italian player will say "hey guys, no need to worry when we play against Ukraine because look, we have won so many games the last few decades"? Nobody will say that ever. They all know that all the wins from the past are useless and nobody cares about it when they lose this one game. It just doesn't make sense because football results don't follow a predefined timeline from the past into the future. It will be that final between Italy and Ukraine and nothing else is important.

Win against North Macedonia will bring Italy to the second spot into their group with last away game against Ukraine will be vital for both teams because in case of draw or win things will be gone good for the Italy but in case of lost, they could be out of the event which could be worse happen to them.

North Macedonia hold Italy in first game and now going to Rome for the second league with have good confidence so can they do upset it's also important because this game hold the passport for the Italian journey into Euro 2024.

They have lots of options to qualify and surely the game against North Macedonia can play a vital role in all of this for Ukraine when Italy does not win it. But I guess Italy understands what is on the line here and to their advantage, North Macedonia is already out. This doesn't always mean it will be easy to beat them, but I think it would be a different ball game if North Macedonia still had a chance to make it. But assuming Italy wins this, it will all be about the last game against Ukraine and Ukraine would have to win with a 2 goal difference I think to make it, since Italy won the first game 2:1. If Ukraine wins 1:0, the overall goal difference will decide and Italy has the better stats.

Italy does not have almost any margin for error. Of course, we can get to the mathematics and say that they will still have a chance if they win one and draw one and also maintain a good goal difference, and at the same time, Ukraine ends up with only a draw in the last match. But that is definitely a little too technical. It will be better if it just relies upon the strength that they have and tries to win all the remaining matches. But at the same time, they will still have to pray that Ukraine does lose the last match. Well, they will have to pray and also perform because the last match of Ukraine is against Italy  . So if Italy does not find themselves qualifying, they have only themselves to blame.

When you say Italy need to win all of their remaining matches, we need to remember that only two matches remain for them. And the last match is a knockout match versus Ukraine. The winner of that match will qualify for the main tournament. They have played decently so far, but all of that will be undone if they lose against Ukraine. And let's not forget the fact that they failed to qualify for Qatar 2022. If they also fail to secure a spot for Euro 2024, then without any doubt, it will be a devastating blow for them.

Well, you are right in what you say, when we are referring to Italy it may be a very strong team but it may not manage things well in certain games, where they collude they may or tend to lose control of the game and this is not Well, because obviously things can go wrong for them, I think it is because it is a relatively young team, even though the SERIES is very good, they are showing good football, problems can arise within the same team, the qualified coach has to fix it. This, the truth is that Italy needs them to play a good role, maybe in this competition they can become more active and show what they are made of, of course this is something where they can win everything, because that is how this team is, but it has to maintain consistency, in this Euro I see that the strongest teams are between France, Portugal, Germany, England, for me those teams are the strongest.

I don't think Italy will disappoint, apart from this they Already have 2 World Cups that are not going, so drastic measures have to be taken now so that they can agree to do things well, because I believe that the Italian people already need good Representation , for That's why I want to see all the matches of this Euro, I want to see how they can change their mentality being in this competition, I don't see how it could be so complicated, because the strongest teams would be the group heads, so if this is so, Italy can be considered the head of the group, also because of its history, where it is considered that they are the inventors of soccer, this and history weighs heavily on the Italian players, who do have good soccer but they lack something so they can do and have that confidence of winning and winning or at least drawing so that they can be like before , maybe it takes a lot for veteran players like Totti, Paolo Maldini to go and give them more support , talk to them, something, but they have to put themselves in action so that they give the best results to their Country.

Italy remaining three points from Ukraine but have two matches left, if standings position depend on head to head actually Italy on good position because first leg won 2-1 from Ukraine and have last match against Ukraine. Before facing Ukraine,  Italy have chance winning over North Macedonia and if three points achievement will make easy on last match against Ukraine need draw have been enough to get place in EURO 2024 Germany. But Ukraine opportunity with EURO 2024 not close yet depend Italy get winning over North Macedonia but Ukraine have win on last match at their home against Italy on last qualifier match. Ukraine opponent qualify to EURO depend on their hand and not expected with North Macedonia can defeated Italy, they have win last match and automatically will qualify in EURO 2024.

@fuguebtc I had stopped watching Italy’s games due to their poor form but it looks like these two matches can be worth my time because Italy will do everything to win them and qualify. Furthermore whenever Italy misses a big tournament it feels like the tournament is missing it’s spark not sure if other’s feel the same but I’m hoping Italy can qualify and bring their entertaining football back on the big stage.

Italy definitely has a chance but again the condition is that they will have to win all the matches that are left. They cannot make any mistake. The margin for error is non-existent for Italy right now. I will say that Italy has done decent enough so far. But I cannot already say that they deserve to qualify. They only deserve to qualify if they can qualify.  And it is certainly not going to be easy for them. But even if they do qualify, I do not have much hope for the Italy team to be honest. It will actually be a good performance from them if they just manage to qualify.

Italy still has good chance of qualifying for the main tournament from Group C. Don't forget the fact that they have played one match less than Ukraine. So if they win against North Macedonia next month, then they are at the same level as Ukraine. And then it all comes down to the last match for both the teams, where they will play against each other at the BayArena at Leverkusen (20th November). BTW, some of the younger players in Italy has done a decent job till now. I am talking about Davide Frattesi, Domenico Berardi and Mateo Retegui.

Yes, he played against Malta (low team), then when he played against England he lost in a truly brutal way.

Unfortunately you also have to understand from the point of view of an Italian who hasnt seen the World Cup or European Championships for a while and its very ugly and embarrassing.

The decline is constant and doesnt stop, and its not nice. For me is not nice for sure but i think is same for other italians.

Of course every team that advances to the next round is the best and strongest team from each group.
However it is possible that later when the real tournament starts they might experience more significant changes in their playing because they have to face other really great teams.
For each of the top teams, such as England, Portugal, Spain and France, it might be a surprise because they are one of the teams that will dominate.

Just looking at the top teams playing in the qualifiers shows how good their game is.
And when they face each other in the play-off round, it will definitely look more competitive.

Group C is perhaps the toughest of all the groups in Euro qualifiers. Some people argue that Group A (Spain/Scotland/Norway) should be given that label, but I humbly disagree. In Group C we have England and Ukraine at the top, followed by Italy at the 3rd position (although they have played one match less when compared to Ukraine). And then in 4th position we have North Macedonia who are well known for upset wins against top nations. The only weak team in this group is Malta. Macedonia has a history of shocking big teams. But back then they had Goran Pandeev in their squad. He was a legendary player, who unfortunately never got a chance to play in the FIFA World Cup.
