They have won the match because of the coach who encouraged them to win, and their strategy worked very well for the match.
adding a little that the victory that has been achieved by Sevilla was not only from the coach's encouragement but the performance of the Seville players really had good experience at UEL which gave confidence and extraordinary enthusiasm to be able to beat Roma.
although there was injustice in the final match last time but this is a decision that has been determined and indeed Sevilla deserves to be the European league champion.

Not sure if it's just because of the Sevilla coach, because the current Sevilla coach is Mendilibar, who historically Mendilibar has never coached a team that is used to competing for titles and trophies. But yes, I don't mean to belittle Mendilibar, but if you say Sevilla's success is only due to the coach, then I think that statement is not quite right. Except, if Mendilibar quite often coaches big teams with lots of titles and achievements he has managed to get, then the statement about the coach still makes sense but for Mendilibar I think it is still not quite right.

Mourinho wasn't successful in this season just as in the previous one I'm afraid. I feel the need of admitting that because these are the facts. But in the end, Jose Mourinho also failed to lead Roma to win the Europa League because they had to lose on penalties with Roma so they failed to get a ticket to the Champions League. Jose Mourinho's achievements this season look less good and reportedly will part with Roman next season.

Mourinho is also aware of this and he seems ready to fight for this goal again. But at the same time he is open for reasonable offers as well. By saying that I mean PSG of course. PSG has been the most rumoured team with him for a summer signing but let's see. Managing PSG would be much more attracting to him I assume.
Roma's only hope of qualifying for the Champions League is to win the Europa League as the chances in the League have ended after they only managed to finish sixth in the standings. But in the end Jose Mourinho also failed to lead Roma to win the Europa League, so they also failed to get a chance to qualify for the Champions League. Jose Mourinho's achievements this season did not look so good and reportedly he will part with Roman next season.

Right now Jose Mourinho is rumored to be going to PSG and in my opinion he will develop much more at PSG compared to Roma, because PSG has a lot of money to bring in the players he needs. PSG has such a big target in the Champions League and it will be a tough job for Jose Mourinho, if he really moves there then next season will be more attractive in the league and in the Champions competition.

Mourinho wasn't successful in this season just as in the previous one I'm afraid. I feel the need of admitting that because these are the facts. Roma's main goal is to qualify for the Champions League one way or another. They couldn't finish the season in top 4 in the Serie A despite Juventus' getting a punishment of 10 points. The Europa League title was their only choice but they messed up again.

Mourinho is also aware of this and he seems ready to fight for this goal again. But at the same time he is open for reasonable offers as well. By saying that I mean PSG of course. Only Mourinho fans will think Roma is doing well. I applaud them for getting to the Europa final, but then again, they had to forego every other trophy to pursue just one. I don't think that's a wise move. It's a big gamble and it didn't pay off my if it had paid off everybody would have been singing praise of Mourinho's class, but it did not pay off.
Roma was horrible in the league. They barely finished 6th, just a point above Juventus.
Maybe you're right that with another coach Roma won't get to the final, but their performance needs to improve. They can't keep playing like that. They played really badly in both legs against Leverkusen and didn't play really well against Sevilla. Playing that pattern o football won't take them no where.
As a coach, you should always have goals for yourself, and as a seasoned coach, I think Jose Mourinho was fully aware of his target. He was just unfortunate not to have won the final. It's not easy to manage a team as ordinary as Roma, so he deserves praise for the caliber of players he has at his disposal. He had to make do with what was available because the squad hardly had any prominent stars and they cannot afford to pay such individuals. Since competing for the top four spots in the league would be challenging with the players available, his goal was to qualify for the champions league. As a result, he had to improvise and consider an easy road. He wasn't really focused in the league since he understood it would have been simpler to win the Europa League and then advance to the Champions League than to compete for top-4 spot.

The only thing that counts to Mourinho is winning a game, regardless of how he did it. That was his strategy against Sevilla, but it backfired against him. He deserves respect for making it to the end.
It's not easy to manage a limited team like Roma, but Jose Mourinho was able to manage that team quite well. Maybe if Roma were able to win the Europa League there would certainly be a different assessment again. Mourinho manages Roma with a different strategy every game and he is able to meet his targets. In the final against Sevilla, Roma played very well and they would have almost won the title if the referees were fair, so it is only natural for Mourinho to react strongly to what happened at that time. I really applaud Mou's performance, he deserves respect.

Your points are legit but still people love to favor the teams that win not the ones that lose. So this time Sevilla won the Europa League and that's the main reason for their praise otherwise people would definitely favor Roma if they were the winners. That's a fact that Roma team played very well in the finals, but Sevilla were at a different level this time and they deserve the praise for winning the league. I don't think that they have won the final because of a so-called referees. They have won the match because of the coach who encouraged them to win, and their strategy worked very well for the match.

You guys make this Roma squad look so ass, so it can look as if Mourinho did what was impossible. Roma has a better squad than Sevilla. Roma has almost the same squad as Napoli. I'm not saying they have a squad t win the Champions League and Serie A, but that Roma squad is a squad that should in the top four and nobody should be surprised if that team wins the Europa League.
Mourinho is good in his own way, no doubt, but this season, he was not that great, even the season before that. He managed to win the Conference League and that was what made it look as if he was fantastic.

It is like Sevilla are very successful in nearly every season they are in the Europa League. The other teams can take a deep breath when Sevilla manage to get past the group stage in the Champions League. The 2020/2021 season is a really good example for that. I really don't know if we would see some new team finishing Sevilla's series and start a new era. Roma tried their best but it wasn't enough anyway. Sevilla won with an inexperienced manager with big teams like Mendilibar even though Roma had Mourinho.

Sevilla are such a disciplined team that they can manage to make it to the Europa League title even in bad conditions. I mean their performance in the La Liga was really poor in general but this didn't hinder them from doing great here.
Whenever Sevilla have been in the Europa League, they have always put in a good game which has led them to great success here, even if it is not in line with what they have shown in La Liga. Last season, yes last season was actually a moment where they showed a good game in La Liga, they even competed with Real Madrid for some time. But it's a shame they couldn't show their good game consistently, which made them move away from chasing Real Madrid at that time, and in the end they had to lose competition from 2 other big clubs, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

The Sevilla team knows very well that they have no chance of winning the Champions League title. Champions League teams are much stronger than Sevilla. Sevilla may be able to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League if they try their hardest. And it is more honour for Sevilla to be champions of the Europa League. And so Sevilla's main goal is the Europa League title. And next season we will probably see a poor performance of Sevilla in the Champions League. However, Sevilla's main goal will remain to win the Europa League title.

At the moment yes, but I've seen that Sevilla have room for growth and the players and the whole team believe in it
In my opinion, you should never set yourself too many limits, otherwise you limit yourself
on the contrary, we need to look for ways to improve

. As great as the qualification is, there are reasons that this season didn't go that well. That need be fixed before the new season can actually really become the adventure they are now looking forward to. But they are the deserved winner in my opinion for a couple of reasons. It was a very fair game played by them and with that little bit of luck they took it home. A great team that is very grounded and was ready to deliver a great fight and put in all the effort.
Well, that's it.
Whatever happens, they must prepare and fix problems previously before the new season coming. They must not start their journey like the previois one. They have so many works to fix in the club, and they also need to sign few new players that exactly can be solid and appropriate to the club and the coach.
They must have bigger attention and expectation to reach in the next season after what's happen to them.

In colloquial terms one would say they got off cheaply. If in March somebody would have told Sevilla that the are going to play the Champions League next season and that they can make the fans forget how miserable the season actually was in La Liga, it would have still only been an unrealistic dream for them. 8 weeks later the impossible has been done. The whole team was in such a bad shape that nobody really expected them to make it so far and then they eliminated Manchester United and Juventus Turin. This season is probably like fairytale or them when you look at how the season went in the beginning and how it ended. It was the absolute maximum in positive terms.

There is no doubt about this all José Mourinho's experience and strategy work for AS Roma, and they have good result in Europa Cup but sadly in final luck was not with them as they lost this title on penalties and Sevilla able to win record time which is surely amazing stuff for them and despite having 12th spot in La Liga now they are going to play Champions League again in next season which is another amazing stuff for them.

Roma done good job in this competition and have place into last two which is also good achievement for them with they were not consistent into Serie A which bring them down to sixth, and now they are going to compete again in Europa Cup in next year for this spot they have too thankful to Juventus which lost 10 points and now having 7th spot.

Only Mourinho fans will think Roma is doing well. I applaud them for getting to the Europa final, but then again, they had to forego every other trophy to pursue just one. Previously, Sevilla were not the favorites at all in this tournament. But who would have thought they were able to finish so brilliantly. The Europa League doesn't seem to want to be separated from the Spanish representative, luck always overshadows them. However, judging from the obstacles they went through, the Rojiblancos really deserved it.
Everyone might underestimate Sevilla at first. Because they are inconsistent in the league. But I salute Sevilla this year, in the early league until the middle of the season it was almost relegated. but slowly rose to 16th place to finish 12th in the league. the great thing is that in the europa league he still consistently gets a trophy.

In the European League Final both teams played very well and both had more motivation because both teams did not qualify for the UCL, their hope was only in the Europa League final. But who would have thought that luck was on Sevilla's side. It's no wonder Sevilla got the nickname The King of the Europa League.

Quote
AS Roma have also struggled to the fullest, they seem to have become the strongest team in Europe since being handled by Jose Mourinho. I don't want to be involved in the discussion regarding the controversial accusations against the referee because the title already belongs to Sevilla. But what is certain is that I really appreciate the hard work of these two teams.
However, it's a shame that a final-class match was tarnished by a controversial referee. How can a match like a UEFA final choose a referee like this, moreover there is VAR technology but the referees don't use it properly.

I was checking the games in Europa League and I was working on how Sevilla won the title this season. They were in a situation in which we're thinking they are going to lose this tournament in the first steps, but they just used the chances they had and they used the mistakes of other teams.
The game between Manchester United and Sevilla was a good example in which Manchester United had better players but had personal mistakes and Sevilla had just used the chance.
Sevilla's journey to reach the final and succeeding in becoming a champion was not an easy journey at all, Manchester United and Juventus were the 2 teams they managed to get rid of, even though predictably they would lose that match. But they managed to show that they can beat the 2 leading teams. Interestingly they seemed to do the same thing to these two teams, yes they played an empty game in the first leg, and in the second leg they were able to provide something that disappointed their opponent.

In fact, I think they deserve this trophy more than Roma in the qualifying matches. Of course, I don't underestimate Roma either, but Sevilla had eliminated very strong teams and reached the final, and I wanted them to win this cup. That would have been more fair, and it did. Congratulations again to Sevilla for their championship.

You are right, the Roma team qualified for the Europa League final due to Mourinho's extraordinary match strategy. And because of an experienced coach like Mourinho, Roma won the Conference League the previous season. Roma won a cup after a long time. The Roma team spends very little money on building their team. If Roma management had spent enough money to build their team then Roma's performance would have been more stable. Mourinho might even be fighting for the Serie A title.
While it's always nice to talk about past stories even when they're based on fact, it can also seem like a waste when you have to talk about it all the time. Because AS Roma still have to fight again next season in the European League competition apart from Serie A, and hopefully next season AS Roma can fight even harder to get a trophy in one of the competitions. Especially in the European League because AS Roma almost got it this season even though AS Roma had to lose in another way they didn't expect.
I think it is important to remember the past so that you can focus on the future and learn from how they were once good. I mean they haven't been that bad in the last 2 seasons neither, they won conference league last season, and finalist that was robbed of the cup this season as well.

This is why I honestly believe that they should have been proud of what they did in the last two seasons. On the other hand, when we are talking about something bigger, it is going to be quite important to remember that it is going to be a situation to be scared if they end up losing Mourinho, sure maybe league didn't went the way they hoped for, but europa went as well as expected. This is why I believe that it should be a lot more important to keep him than any other player.

In the previous seasons, they actually played quite well, it's just that this season they were very hampered by conditions where they were very difficult in the domestic league, but now there's no need to think about that anymore, it seems because they really did their best and qualified for the Champions League again. League again at the same time makes La Liga have 5 slots this season after last season was the bundesliga in the Champions League.

After all, in the end Sevilla will always return to the Europa League. Yes indeed, Sevilla this season won the Europa League title and of course, this will make Sevilla play in the Champions League next season. But in the end, Sevilla will not be able to advance to the last 16 in the Champions League and Sevilla can only be in 3rd place in the final standings in the Champions League group stage. That way, Sevilla will play again in the Europa League and have a good chance to win the Europa League title. So, it seems, this is still happening for Sevilla from season to season.
Now it's up to them. This opportunity has been presented and they will have to make things better than this if they are to go in the better direction of the last 16 in the Champions League.
Currently, they still have a lot of gaps and now with the holiday conditions for the domestic league it should be used as a good opportunity by looking for several players to be able to patch up their condition next season.

Sevilla's run in the Champions League this season was just terrible.
Is it not possible that they do not have the desire to win the competition so it affects how they play for it. They may be happy with dominating the Europa. There is a way Sevilla plays, at the moment when your players are beginning to tire out the Sevilla players always find a way to gather energy and keep increasing the pressure. In just some little moments Sevilla can make use of the opportunity and score. They Did it against Manchester United and against Roma in the Europa finals.
Sevilla has been known for being delighted in the  Europa League more than the champions league. I even bet you that in the next season they will also find a way to crash out of the Champions league in order to embrace the Europa League.
They are more comfortable and experienced in the Europa League more than in the Champions League.
At times I will think they are deliberately crash out of the Champions League in order to increase their chances of winning European Cup through the Europa League.
For sure , Sevilla is was eliminated from the Champions league, I think Sevilla is more okay with the Europa competition and they know they can always win it. If Sevilla makes a decision to go far in Champions league competition they will definitely get it. Champions league has never be a priority for Sevilla that is why they don't do well I  Champions league. Winning in football is mentality, a team with mentality to win will always get or close to what they desire. Sevilla don't see themselves as a team that win champions league, they only believe in Europa League.
