Sevilla was not lucky for winning the Europa League because they really deserve it but I think they were lucky not to have finished the season in the bottom place because they had a very poor outing this season they just managed to win few games with aver poor performance in every game I watched them this season. Did they win the Europa League using other teams mistake I guess no rather they saw the trophy as the only remedy to their problems and when they got to the knock out stages they changed their playing pattern and that alone helped them to defeat the big teams you mentioned and I think they are like owners of Europa because they never lost in the finals and winning it was a dream come true to so many fans.

In football you need some luck to achieve some certain feats and that's why Sevilla players and fans are celebrating being winners of this season's UEFA Europa League competition when it is very clear that Roma were the better side between them in the final.

since José Luis Mendilibar he appointed as Sevilla coach in the second half of this season he immediately made a difference for Sevilla, especially in Laliga because he managed to bring Sevilla out of the relegation zone and he also successfully brought Sevilla to win the Europa League. I think he deserves to be considered a great coach this season.

Next season Napoli, Lazio, Inter and Milan have the chance to prove themselves again in the Champions League. I've been a bit disappointed with Milan this season especially in the semi-finals, but Inter are a really tough opponent to beat. Inter will play tomorrow's final against Manchester City, but they are not the favourites.

I wouldn't call him "lucky" but he is not really showing his old self neither. This was the guy who won it all and then went to Real Madrid and be amazing there as well, then whatever happened to him and his career took a dip, from united to spurs to Roma, it all went downhill. He is doing fine right now and there is nothing wrong with managing Roma, but this was the type of manager that PSG, City, Bayern, Madrid, Liverpool etc etc all the big clubs of the day always wanted, and nowadays he can't find a job at the big boys table.

The fact that he won conference league last season is both great achievement but also shows that he is at tier 3 level right now and that's not great, took them to tier 2 finals which is nice but still not managing a team at UCL level.
