It's not the first time for Sevilla to win the Europa League and get the champions league ticket. but they usually had good performances just in Europa League and they are not a successful team in champions because they don't have enough power for it.
Just Imagine a team like Sevilla facing Manchester City, they can't have any chance there no matter how lucky they are.

That's why sevilla willa always stuck in the europa league. Even though sevilla was winning europa league for 10 times and being qualified for UCL 10 times and the result will always be the same as the main target for sevilla to win europa league not UCL.
Sevilla doesn't have motivation to win UCL. Sevilla thought that if europa league was enough for the club. Sevilla gonna always be the king of europa league. It doesn't have competence to compete with another big clubs in UCL.
That's why real madrid was king of UCL as it is having far better quality compared with sevilla at this moment. Sevilla has been winning it for 7 times.
I didn't know how luck sevilla in the past but it's very lucky in this season. Sevilla winning with so many goals were coming from mistakes by its opponent. I can't even describe how luck sevilla is.
It's opponent was always making blunders this season. it's very hard to say if sevilla was not lucky

Lol. Verstappen asked his boss at Red Bull racing to be degraded to Formula 2 because his goal is to win Formula 2 instead of Formula 1. No joke. I was shocked. Soon Verastappen will drive in the lower class because he says he has no motivation to win the highest class.

If someone really thinks that players decide to win the Europa League instead of the Champions League for intrinsic motivational reasons, I don't know what is going on anymore. Every soccer player in the world wants to win the Champions League. The dude kicking with a 3 USD plastic ball in the backyard wants to win the Champions League.. Go around and ask. But not everyone gets the opportunity to win it. So you are literally saying that Sevilla will lose on purpose in the Champions League next season in order to pursue their goal to win the Europa League? Their goal is to intentionally become 3rd in the group stage? Sorry, but I am out I guess. Cheesy

Sevilla won the Europa League this season and they were lucky enough to win this title but on the other hand, Sevilla have taken the final automatic place for the next champions league and they should get themself ready for the champions league where they are going to have harder games than what they had in Europa League. Sevilla couldn't have a good performance in most of the games in the Europa League and in La Liga but they should start hiring better players if they want to achieve something in the champions league.
It's not about being lucky, but Sevilla played well this season in the Europa League, and I have no doubt that they will prepare for the upcoming Champions League, even though I know the games they play there will be difficult matches in which they will face bigger teams than they did in the Europa League this season. I will be hoping to see them succeed when the upcoming Champions League season arrives.
Although there are a few positions in Sevilla's squad that require intelligent players, I agree that they should begin planning for the acquisition of new players to fill those roles in order to strengthen their team when the time comes to compete in the Champions League the following season. If they don't do that immediately and begin training the players to become acquainted with one another and understand how they play their games before the time, it will be difficult for them as well, so I believe Sevilla should do this.

well obvious
you're saying the obvious, like saying the water is wet
the champions league is much more difficult and there are much stronger teams, without a doubt
Sevilla will never be ready, we need a different team

Sevila cant meet up with the le el of pressure that will come from bigger clubs like manchester city and this is why we must not put too much hope in sevila even though their are doing incredibly well in the eaurooa league and as a matter of fact their best performance in the local league cant equal anything in the international league.

It's okay for Sevilla next season, even though they are playing in the UCL, but the knockout phase will continue in the UEL. Not condescending but Seville is as if the mascot is UEL. Sevilla can't compete in the Champions League with the existing squad, they can't even compete in La Liga. It must be admitted that Sevilla King UEL, even though they cannot compete in the UCL, remember that any team that enters the European league Sevilla will beat it.
Sevilla won the Europa leaf but it was not easy for them, in all the games they played till the final game was tough for them, they just managed to win most of their game. The present form of Sevilla is not of standard to compete with big teams in the Champions league.  Sevilla needs to get quality players to strengthen their squad if they want participate better in champ league next season. What helped Sevilla in winning the europa championship is also as a result of experience.

Sevilla will continue to be the king of the Europa League but what of the champions league? If there current squad can’t compete for the UCL then what use are they to be called kings of the UEL. Every team wants to be attributed to great things and Sevilla shouldn’t settle down for less again. Let them go and show their expertise as the king of UEL in the UCL. If they fail to go far, they should try again by next season. If they need to sign new players to make them perform better in the UCL, they should do that because it’ll only be to their own advantage.

Roma did their best during the Europa League but it wasn't enough to win the title unfortunately. But still I can't call this season as successful for Roma. After winning the Europa Conference League title the expectations from Mourinho got bigger as a result. A Champions League ticket was the target as of the beginning of the season. I'm sure the board didn't care about how they get it. They messed it up in the Serie A by losing unexpected points in many matches which blocked the way for top 4.
Of course, Roma is unsuccessful this season. They failed to finish in the UCL zone in Serie A and they couldn't win the Europa final match. In the early season, we expected AS Roma to compete for the top 4 in Serie A. And When they reached the final round in Europa League, we also expected AS Roma to win 1 title at least during this season. But toward the end of the season, something happened to this team, they became so weak and failed to win in many matches. In Serie A, they only won 1 time in the latest 5 matches and they were defeated by Sevilla in Europa League final. All of this makes Mourinho feel frustrated, that's why he makes another controversial action again.  Roll Eyes

Italian football has started to do well in Europe since it returned to its high physical-condition, good field defense and competitive identity. Both teams came here with a generally unenjoyable football that plays by closing the field all the time. While it was a classic final start, there was a very good tempo in the match, but the crass who was to be the referee created senseless tension as he could not establish authority on the field and blew even the simplest whistles 10 seconds later. Moreover, since almost all of the two teams gave yellow cards, no one can take risks in extra time and we are watching a terrible match. Both sides lie down as much as they can to go to penalties, and injuries occur constantly due to stagnant play and sudden cooling. One of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen. It wouldn't change much anyway, it ruined the match thoroughly. I'm not even talking about the net penalty given to Roma yet.

Sevilla are successful in this competition, they now have a record of seven Europa league trophies. They managed to defeat Roma to become champions and gain automatic qualification to the Champions league. I must say that it is a bit surprising that they are champions judging from their performance level in other competitions this season nevertheless the fact that they won the Europa league trophy is all that matters now.

The Europa League title was the only chance left but it didn't happen either. Mourinho is also aware of this unsuccessful run no matter how he is angry with Anthony Taylor. Roma need to look into where they make the mistakes and fix it.

Only Mourinho fans will think Roma is doing well. I applaud them for getting to the Europa final, but then again, they had to forego every other trophy to pursue just one. I don't think that's a wise move. It's a big gamble and it didn't pay off my if it had paid off everybody would have been singing praise of Mourinho's class, but it did not pay off.
Roma was horrible in the league. They barely finished 6th, just a point above Juventus.
Maybe you're right that with another coach Roma won't get to the final, but their performance needs to improve. They can't keep playing like that. They played really badly in both legs against Leverkusen and didn't play really well against Sevilla. Playing that pattern o football won't take them no where.
I can boldly say that Roma are doing well under Mourinho because in a space of three years they have played two European cup finals and won one, before now Roma could barely qualify for European competitions talk more playing in a final, it is clear that Mourinho is actually doing a great job with this team.

The continuation of the Mourinho and Anthony Taylor drama looks like it will continue now but seeing from the recent statement from UEFA it seems they are leaning more towards Anthony at the moment and they have decided not to investigate Taylor's performance and are quite satisfied with appearing in yesterday's final.
But indeed in this case we still have to wait for how this will end because indeed if in the end he is declared free in any case including in their final match this will be a little different from Mou who does some conditions that are too impulsive even though it is pure annoyance but I think this will not go unpunished now.

I know Sevilla won't be favorites for the Champions League let alone reaching the quarter-finals, but they can make the most of their best chance of winning the Europa League despite only playing in the Champions League group stages. But habits like this must be changed because Sevilla can also give their best in the title race.

That's for sure, Sevilla will be eliminated if they don't make significant changes. The Champions League, is a competition filled by clubs that have the best quality in their respective leagues. so, to be able to compete strictly in the group phase later. Like it or not, Sevilla must renew their squad. because, next season luck will not always be with Sevilla. that means, Sevilla must also prove it with a good and structured game, not just playing pragmatically and relying on luck.

In this season, Seville experienced significant ups and downs. had been in the relegation zone, but they were able to return to the safe zone position. in fact, winning the Europa League trophy. really unexpected, even I would not have thought before. so there are no other words, other than giving appreciation for what they can go through, even though it is slightly spiced up with the luck factor.

Sevilla's success in securing a Champions League ticket for next season clearly received high appreciation regardless of the drama of the referee who presided over the match. Sevilla holds an unbeaten record in every Europa League final in 7 finals, that's something really incredible about them so far.

Sevilla continues its good record this season in the Europa League and deserves to be called the king of the Europa League, a record of seven wins in finals is not something easy to achieve, especially since Sevilla was not taken into account before. But thanks to the players' hard work and mentality, they were able to answer the doubts of many people, even conceding earlier than Roma did not discourage them from continuing to fight until the end. Sevilla's achievements should be appreciated with all the setbacks they have had in La Liga and for me their struggle is extraordinary.

Sevilla's strength is very doubtful in the Champions League and indeed so far it has not been taken into account at all, there is nothing wrong if people make considerations like this. But no one knows, even Chelsea in his time won the Champions League in conditions that were not very convincing and even they were so inconsistent in the Premier League at that time.

Usually Sevilla will only be able to finish in third place in the group stage in the Champions League and thus, Sevilla will return to play in the Europa League. But yes, if in the Champions League next season Sevilla are able to finish in first or second position, then of course Sevilla will continue to the last 16 in the Champions League. But, because so far even though Sevilla has managed to get a ticket to play in the Champions League, the reality is that Sevilla ends it more often in the Europa League and this happens very often or is experienced by Sevilla very often.

Actually Sevilla have tried many times to qualify for a better phase in the champions league but fate had other plans and in the end they were much more successful in the European league. I think it's not a matter of readiness or lack of belief in the Champions League competition, it's just that when a team has fought hard but the results are still empty, then they have to get options that allow them to at least win titles every season and competitions that are suitable for Sevilla for many seasons. this is the european league. Therefore every team definitely wants to get the best results, but as long as the team is able to compete in the competition they are good at, it's not a problem.
There were YEARS when they won the europa cup and went to UCL and during group stages became third and went back to Europa and won it again. Think about how great you need to be at europa that you WIN it, and then go to ucl and then lose there and come back to europa and you win it again.

This may have happened 2 times as well which is why I think it's quite important to realize that this team has some sort of magical boost when it comes to this league. I know that it's not going to be every single year, like I am not expecting Sevilla to win it next season, but it is true that they are magically great at this one. This is why I honestly expect them to do as well as they can whenever they are there. It's just matter of being so used to playing at this level.

You should have more experience and knowledge first before giving this kind of nonsense response.
Rome won what? and what trophy did they get after such a long wait?
It's true that Roma played quite well under coach Mourinho all the way to the final but they lost to Sevilla so what victory do you mean?
The Europa League trophy this season has belonged to Sevilla and it is very clear that AS Roma have not won anything in the Europa League this season, except for being in the final. So if someone says AS Roma won something this season, in my opinion that is very strange because there really is no trophy that AS Roma can take this season. So it is highly hoped that AS Roma will try to return next season again in the European League.
I assume he is someone who just talks nonsense without thinking about the truth with the aim of fulfilling the campaign quota that he participates in.

Speaking of Sevilla, they managed to defend the title very well, even Mourinho's AS Roma team, which had developed well, had not been able to beat Sevilla, even though Roma had played well because they only lost in penalties but at least in 1x2 they had given a perfect game.
This can be a lesson for Roma so that next season they will return to the final and win the title.

I would say luck was not with Mourinho. It cannot be said that Roma lost with a poor performance. Roma's players performed well. I would even say Roma players performed better than Sevilla. The referee made some bad decisions. Also, the match was drawn due to Gianluca Mancini's mistake. This is nothing but bad luck. Mourinho should not despair and start all over again. Hopefully we will see more organized and strong performances from Roma next season.

That's why I said the most important reason why Sevilla won the Europa League was that they were lucky, not just against Roma but against other teams they played before Roma.

Mourinho was not guilty at all in that game against Sevilla.
If you check the other games Sevilla had in this season you can easily understand Sevilla was lucky most of the time because they usually played against strong teams when they were not ready for it or when they didn't have some players.
For example, I think if Dybala could play for Roma, there was a chance to see another result.

Man, i do agree with you about sevilla was the luckiest club in the europa league this season. It was always getting its goal from own goal by its opponent even when sevilla was facing juventus as well. I didn't even know where the fuck this kind of magic was coming from but what the fuck was wrong with this club this season? It seems like that all of luck were owner by sevilla at this moment. Dybala already played for roma since the beginning of game. You shall watch again what lineup that used by mourinho since the game was starting.

The problem was if mourinho was changing him. Mou should have played him for full time instead of changing him before the end of game.
Mou didn't just change Dybala, he appeared to be injured after a dangerous tackle that he had. Mou tried his best to lift the trophy for Roma but it didn't go his way. On a normal Mou day, when he first you to get a goal, you wil not equalise it but everything do change and perhaps it changed.
Apart from the above said, the ref wasn't consistent as his officiating was full of notable flaws, I pray that shouldn't be the fate of the Champions League coming up this weekend.

Dybala is a key player for his teams and he is the top scorer in Roma, that's why the absence of this player definitely affected the whole game.
