I will not blame Arteta in this case, as a coach he should make a change with the current situation of his team. He decided to rest some of his best players (it does not mean he underestimates Sporting) but maybe because he has made the decision to be focused more on Premier League where his team lead 5 points only to the closest competitor. It is hard decision but it is reasonable enough if Arteta want to win Premier League more than Europa League. I hope it will work like what he expects, now they can focus on EPL as they have just failed in Europa League.

Bad day for the Arsenal team as they couldn't win Sporting after much dominance in the game.Arsenal played very well they had so many goal scoring opportunities but they were only able able to convert one to the only goal that came from Granit Xhaka in the first half of the game but unfortunately for the gunners the scoreline was leveled by Pedro Goncalves in the second half of the game and that brought the game to a more interesting moment until the full-time.
Before they eventually went to the penalties the Gunners had the opportunity of winning the game in the extra time when Sporting Lisbon was reduced to 10 men due to the red card of Manuel Ugarte but the Lisbon team were so powerful to stop the gunners from making good use of their chances until they went to the penalties were they defeated the gunners to book their qualification to the round 8 in the Europa league.

I expected Real Betis to try to get goals and fight to remain in the Champions league but obviously Manchester United are just too strong for them and United won in the second leg to seal their place in the next rounds of the tournament. Arsenal’s game was very exiting to watch, I enjoyed every bit of it, Porto came on strong and played beautifully. The penalty shootout made the match more dramatic.
What do you expect from Manchester United to score more four goals ? That was a good way to play the returning fixture, they have a premier league game during the weekend they'll have to save them strength for that game against Fulham. Beautiful goal from Marcus Rashford that was beautifully taken. Big credits to Bruno Fernandez, he's been a top player who hasn't been noticed for what he does.

Since arsenal leaves from europa league and the only chance for arsenal to win a trophy was coming from the EPL. I see no reason for arsenal not to focus on EPL this season. I think that will be greatly affecting arsenal in EPL. Arsenal is having a chance to lose EPL as well as the gap to the manchester city was not so big at this moment too. With the way they held a draw against Villarreal and Madrid this season in the Laliga, i thought it would have been even hotter for Manchester in the second leg at least a fight to remain in the competition but they blew the chance away. It is another big level up for Manchester United.
To tell the truth I don't believe Sevilla deserved next round here. They didn't do anything special in either in the first leg or this leg. They just tried to keep their advantage by doing everything they can to slow down the match. This is one of the cheapest tricks in football but there is nothing to do about it. I was really angry at the attitude of Fenerbahce supporters in a part of the match as well. Because they threw something at Sevilla goalkeeper and caused the tempo of the match to decrease a lot.
I agree with you. Sevilla did not qualify for the next round. But luckily they were able to qualify for the next round thanks to a 2-0 home win. Their performance against Fenerbahçe in the second leg was very poor. 10 of Sevilla's players played the role of defender. This is the most surprising result in my opinion because Arsenal seem to be very comfortable playing at the Emirates Stadium because winning by a narrow score is enough for them, but it turns out that even after extra time they have not been able to break the deadlock, and the match must be decided by penalty shoot-out again to the starting point and nothing is stronger because the mentality of the player who becomes the executor is very decisive, with this failure Arsenal can now focus more on the league, it's just a shame because they are quite favorites in this competition but should be eliminated early for failing in a penalty shootout.

I did not expect to see many goals in this match. Because Manchester United won 4-1 in the home match. And the chances of Real Betis scoring 4 goals against United in the second leg were slim. Also, Manchester United kept their defense strong in this match to ensure the next round. I thought Manchester United would play completely defensively in this match. But Manchester United played defensively. They have made enough attacks. But after keeping the defense tight, they tried to score. I got the expected performance from Manchester United.

Yesterday's match was a nightmare for Arsenal. Arsenal and Spotting CP both performed well but Arsenal's nightmare came when Martinelli missed a penalty shot. Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale missed the first penalty shot almost on the line, and the second penalty shot was almost the same. But SCP goalkeeper Adan saved Arsenal's fourth penalty shot to confirm the knockout stage. Arsenal's departure from this year's Europa Champions League has really brought sadness to Arsenal fans.I think Arsenal have to build more their mentally on european competitions because it's clearly different between premier league and europa league but indeed in this competition i have seen plenty there are favourite teams were eleminated by underdog teams and this season Barcelona and Arsenal are being an the victim of this competitions that while most people thought they would be strong contenders for the title but the fact is they even eliminated in the early rounds
Feyenoord really finished off Shakhtar Donetsk, in the 55th minute (when this post was made) they were already 4 - 0 up with an aggregate of 5 - 1, at first I doubted they could beat Shakhtar easily, but in their home match, they proved that what i think is wrong. I luckily forgot to put Shakhtar on my betting list. BTW, will there be 2 more goals in this match? I intend to place an over bet.
I was expecting Feyenoord win but didn't expect 7 goals from them. And they did it only in 2/3 of the game. They stopped pressing and attacking in last period of the game. Sure it was a bad night for Shakhtar Donetsk, they scored a goal in last minutes. Nice run and one touch came from youngster Kevin Kelsy. He was probably the only positive thing for Ukrainian side today.
