I was expecting Feyenoord win but didn't expect 7 goals from them. And they did it only in 2/3 of the game. They stopped pressing and attacking in last period of the game. Sevilla eliminated Fenerbahçe but it was way harder than expected. They saw how important was the two goals lead in first game. It could've gone to extra time. Anyway they are in quarter final now. They'll learn from this loss and be happy to advance, they are still the favorite of this cup.

Feyenoord is the best team in this season from Dutch League with they are at the top and now have spot into quarter-final round with their next match at domestic league against Ajax is going to have big impact on league table as well but as they play today I have feeling things could be not easy for opponent even they are playing at home Shakhtar Donetsk is surely suffering badly, and now it's time for them to have some work on their weak points which will help them in next season as well.

Sevilla is doing good in this competition with now they are also in last eight round even they are near the relegation zone in La Liga but things looking impressive here for them and their performance is also good even I have feeling they are not going to win because currently we have few tough opponents as well as Manchester United, Juventus and Feyenoord but still they are also impressive.

Arsenal were knockout from the europa league with penalty shootout against sporting Cp in the emirate stadium. The gunners are having a sad moments, I'm just viewing if Arsenal failed to lift a single trophy this summer, what's it going to be for Mikel Arteta, the players and the fans. They will turned to face the premier league race with their undivided seriousness in league games because that's the oy confident title of winning, moreover manchester city is behind the corner and they're hoping to levelled points with arsenal.

Because of their performances in the Premier League, I also predicted that Arsenal would be among the three favorites teams to win the Europa League that was before round,but However, today I am not surprised that Arsenal was eliminated by Sporting CP because of the squad Arteta used. In particular, this returned leg at the emirate stadium really shows that Arteta just wanted to gamble by underrated Sporting Cp by not using the team first eleven at the beginning.

When Arteta substituted in Saka, Partey, and Odegaard, the game drastically changed, and Sporting CP was put under more pressure than it was before this players.
Assuming Arsenal had used their first eleven from the start of the first half, I can say that they might have won the game without even needing extra time. Given everything, I think it's safe to say that Arteta has placed more emphasis this season on winning the Premier League than title else. If not, I wouldn't have expected Arsenal should be out FA Cup at this level of the competition. They will likely concentrate more now that they are unaffected by competition and still in the top division.

I bet a lot of folks would be disappointed as well cause I think most people predicted and probably put a bet on an Arsenal win. I wouldn’t fault Arsenal players for not winning as they brought out their big guns and really did played their best. But surprisingly, Sporting became extremely motivated in the second half of the game. They came alive after their goal which was really impressive.
They had rode on that sudden boost of morale and aggressively pressed on attacking Arsenal defense while also defending. In my opinion, Sporting goalie is the one who had saved the team from being knocked out with his amazing saves.

We all thought Arsenal will win tonight's game, but no doubt both team were strong and they both did played a fantastic match today, following the fact that they both played draw last time when "Sporting" was home, and today played draw too while at Away and winning through penalty. But however, Arsenal still has a whole lot more to do ensuring premier league is theirs, as the top club on the league.
And I will likely say that the hero of this game is Arthur Gomes & Nuno Santos of "Sporting" who scored their 4th and 5th penalty goals the moment "Gabriel Martinelli" lost his.

People were really underestimated sporting while the fact that if sporting was playing at UCL before it got relegated into the europa league. I take the risk by picking sporting. People were just over confidence just caused by arsenal has good performance in the EPL while people didn't even aware how bad the performance fo arsenal when it was playing in the europa league competitions such as europa league and champion league.

I never saw arsenal won europa league or UCL. This is the fact. that's why prefer to picked up sporting over arsenal caused i believe arsenal will be eliminated.

that proves that if the level of clubs who participated in the UCL before can't be underestimated. MU is the only candidate by EPL in europa league now.

I feel sorry for Martinelli with most fans having to look at him to have missed the penalty that sent Arsenal out of the league but, the pressure having to be in that position and not being the player to have gone first with lots of chances to come back from whatever, is just another pressure on its own.

It's Arsenal and the premier league now, let them be about that.

It is funny how you called out people that actually thought Arsenal will triumph and you also ending it by saying Manchester United will win. Both teams have done well this season mostly in their domestic league but when it comes down to European competitions like this then we might pick our favorites and but also keep in mind that they are dark horses. Arsenal did well today but just like everyone has been saying they don’t have such squad ti compete in both EPL and Europa. A little tweak in formation today and they felt this means the substitutes aren’t just good enough.

Right now I will have to wait to see who both Manchester United and Juventus meet in the last 8 before drawing my conclusions, what if they should be drawn together? Then I will certainly be looking out for the winner of the tie to win the title

Finally, sporting CP did it. Glad to see that arsenal goes out from europa league. This club was actually a mediocre club when it was performing in the europa competition unlike another team like MU. So many gunners being so mad caused by arteta didn't even let odegaard to play. What a game by sporting. I do believe that if sporting will never lose against arsenal.

Arsenal's level is far below those team who have been playing in UCL. Arsenal can't even pass to the last 8. Still waiting for the comments from arteta. I saw how confidence arteta said to the media about his team will defeat sporting CP easily.

Arteta didn't start majority of his key players is another factor that contributed to their poor start, however when some of their key players were later introduced into the match they indeed changed the match, though Sporting Lisbon is equally a formidable side and played brilliantly well and rewarded with a long range shot which passed Ramsdale as their equalizer, unfortunately Arsenal were unlucky in the penalty shoot out, now that they are out of Europa league they should pay more attention to winning the EPL trophy and will aslo qualify for UCL next season.

As a team who has been leading EPL and losing against sporting CP is a big shame for arsenal. What's wrong with it? It seems like the position in the domestic league didn't give a guarantee that the club will be playing so well in the europa league competition. I wonder how many people lose by going all into the arsenal in the match against sporting CP? The result is unpredictable for sure. Arsenal was doomed to be kicked out from the way they approached this game. Right from the first leg, the underestimated what Sporting CP could produce, used Turner for the post and it ended them in a draw. Coming to the second leg, Arteta had his captain M. Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka on the bench.
How do we expect them to we expect them to win wth these guys coming from the bench? They just can't. If you want to get the best result, you've got to put out your best players. The dynamics of the game changed with the Odegaard substitution.

Arsenal didn't sort much in this league and as such, they've now got all the time they need to secure the EPL title.

I don't blame a team losing with penalties since there is a huge hazardous part but I blame Arsenal not being apt to kick Sporting since the 1st leg, or even before playing penalties in the second leg..
