If Manchester United faces Ajax, in my opinion, Erik Ten Hag holds the key to the club's weaknesses because he has coached that club before and Erik Ten Hag will definitely prepare an appropriate strategy to beat the Ajax club. However, this could also happen otherwise. Ajax has experienced Erik Ten Hag's coaching system and already understands Ten Hag's characteristics and perhaps this character can be read by the Ajax club so that this could make it easier for Ajax to beat Manchester United. In my opinion, this depends on how Erik Ten Hag handles his club, even so I still support Manchester United compared to Ajax.
What you have described is absolutely what the expectations should be but the challenge will be in if that will later turn out to be the actual reality with Manchester United and Ajax. From the time ten hag left Manchester United till this point, I believe some changes have been made and so he cannot be sure completely if he's still got intact all it takes to easily get ahead of the team, rather he may only try his best and use the little information he's got along side some relativity assumed looking at what applies currently with the team.
That should be the case because the current Mancehster United coach knows Ajax very well, so he will probably know the weak points they have. However, the problem is that Ajax is only one of many teams they will face, so they don't just focus on one team but they have to focus on many teams. In the English League alone, they have to face 17 other teams there, so they have to think about every weakness of the team they will face.
Not to mention that they will face many teams in the European League and other domestic competitions, including facing teams in the second division after the English League. A team will be very complex when talking about the opponents they will face, because it is not just against one team.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will likely experience a few problems when facing Ajax later and we know that Erik Ten Hag was a former Ajax coach before moving to Old Trafford and Ajax certainly knows what they have to do to stop their former coach's squad. However, the current Ajax is quite different from what they were a year ago and things are changing so quickly that Manchester United cannot afford to underestimate them or even let their guard down.
There's no doubting the fact that Erik ten Hag was an Ajax manager before his appointment as Manchester United manager but that doesn't mean that Ajax will easily dictate ten Hag's tactics when they face Manchester United. The Ajax team under Erik ten Hag was simply better than what we have now at the club but fir Manchester United, they have a team that's full world class players so I expect Manchester United to beat Ajax should they meet each other in the UEFA Europa League next season.
I really like the change of manager at this time, because the Manchester United team performed so badly towards the end of last season. So Erik ten Hag will surely perform well, as he will take enough steps to defeat the unique team with his own strategy. Because Manchester United are strong enough but Erik Ten Hag will play a big role in exploiting this strength.

Ten Hag has been the coach of Manchester United for two years. So far he has not been able to stabilize this team. Manchester United had a poor start to the 2022-2023 season. However, the Manchester United team performed very well in the final matches of the season. So we all thought that maybe Manchester United will fight for the Premier League title this season. But this season we have once again seen poor and bad performances from Manchester United.

I don't have high hopes for Ten Hag next season. And I don't think Ten Hag will improve Manchester United's overall performance that much. Manchester United's squad is quite strong. But United's match strategy is not good, along with the lack of understanding between the players, the United team fails to perform well consistently.

Manchester United, Tottenham, Roma and possibly Porto are the teams that has the more chances and probability of making it far in the Europa League and they look like the teams that have the higher chances of making it to the finals of the competition and of course the trophy will lies between this four clubs for now pending on when the competition starts and we are able to analyse more how each team’s performances are to determine their stance in the the future of the competition. Eric Ten Hag will do everything to make it to the finals of this competition and win the trophy because that will play a major role in given him another chance to continue managing the club. Finishing in the top four may not be realistic for him yet but wining the Europa League trophy would give him a more realistic position in the champions league.
For the current format although it is a little different but to qualify for the knock out phase they still have great potential for that but when talking about championship issues I think there must be some considerations that need to be thought of even though it is for Manchester United.

It is undeniable that currently for the Europa League the advantages of being in the best leagues such as EPL or La Liga give them privilege as favorites to qualify, it's just that in this case we will also definitely see several clubs that will come out of the Champions League which will later be in the Europa League which makes this even more interesting especially with the Europa League situation which is actually difficult for us to predict, especially for the problem of champions because it is always beyond expectations in the last few seasons, of course this will provide a greater attraction later in the 2nd largest competition after the Champions League.

Ajax Is actually a very strong club that will give Manchester United a very tough time, Manchester United are not even doing very well for now, but if Erik ten have been doing is job of late he should be able to defeat Ajax because on a normal day we know Ajax is one stubborn club but Manchester United should be able to defeat them, if they are unable to defeat Ajax then they should not expect anything new from them this season in the premier league, and if Ajax have experienced ten hag pattern of playing then Manchester United should have difficulty winning Ajax. But I don’t know why I have this feeling that Manchester United will not make things that easy for Ajax also. It going to be a very tough game, at least before the season starts we have something to keep us entertained.

If we consider the results that Manchester United got in their second season with Erik ten Hag, even though they experienced a decline from the first season. But in reality, they still managed to compete at least in the middle of the standings, and they still managed to get trophies even though they played against a strong team like Manchester City. Thus, I personally still quite confident that Erik ten Hag is still able to keep Manchester United stable in the middle of the standings to the top of the standings.

Manchester United got lucky last season and they won a trophy over Manchester city as they were underrated by Pep gaurdiola. That trophy wasn't his focus or he won't had allowed Manchester United to win him but praises has to be given to Erik ten Hag as he manages to get united into the Europa league despite them to having a very good season. Infact United were poor all throughout last season although they might improve this season as they are signing good players. Manchester United are capable of winning the Europa league without any doubt as there aren't any big teams in the Europa league, every club there is an average team base on their current form.

We are currently in process of transfers which are making good and negative impact on few clubs with this all we can't predict about any club's performance in coming season because things have never been easy to predict about this as we are doing this all too early many changes are still expected. We will have few fierce matches which will make things interesting and with this we also understand Europa Cup is always having tag of unpredictable matches and big upsets because usually big teams suffer defeats in important games which also have some impact at the end of the season.

We are having few big names which are already in main round and few are doing their best for having spots into main round after winning qualifiers hopefully all will be ok in few days then we can go for the better predictions about this event currently just wait and watch.
There are teams who lost very important players, but gained a lot of money, and there are teams who spent a lot of money on some players and got great ones. So the question is, will it make teams better, like United spent 100 million, and their defense was really in shambles and I love to see Yoro transfer, I am guessing that the yare going to be much better this season, I think they still need backs to, they still have terrible wing backs if you ask me, but let's assume for a moment that they are fine, this team is better than last years team, there is no doubt about that, even with just 2 player additions.

I just wish that they could get rid of Antony, and get two backs instead, he should be sold for like 50-60 at least, and that can be some star level back without a doubt. That could make United much better. Sancho seems to be back too, I do not know what that will end up being, but at least he is back and that means we are talking about someone who could provide some help. Look at what he did at Dortmund last year, he was doing fine and I think it is quite important to realize that we could do the same thing again, that seems like a possible situation here at United as well.

Ten Hag's success with Man United in winning the FA Cup is a delayed success, perhaps some people are proud of that, but for some fans it is not enough to just get the FA Cup, in fact Ten Hag's target is to bring Man United to the European Cup but the difficulty of his tactics is  Ten Hag has not been able to bring the Red Devils to the Europa League or Champions League zone, management still has great trust in him, that's why he has survived until now, even though he only won the FA Cup last season and finished in 8th place in the standings.  embarrassing thing for Red Devils fans.

We have different views on Ten Hags, some believe he is a great manager for Manchester United since he has won trophies in his last two seasons, winning the FA Cup last season and the Carabao Cup the previous two seasons, I believe Ten Hags is quite good at winning trophies, I don't think Ten Hags goal for the last two seasons has been to win Premier League games, we saw how Manchester United performed so poorly under him in the previous two seasons, but they were able to win a trophy despite their bad performance. But I'm wondering how a team can qualify for any European competition if they don't improve in their league games, without the FA Cup they won last season, Manchester United would not have qualified for the Europa League.

Furthermore, Manchester United was annoyed last season as they failed to win their league games, I believe some fans would prefer not to watch their games since they always disappoint them. Let's see if there will be another side of Ten Hag next season with the Red Devils.

It is the strength of these two clubs and game patterns that will determine who will win the match because Ten Hag knows the capability of each player in Ajax so that is an advantage to him but the other coach doesn't know more about Manchester united players.
I will not be able to say who will win the match until the season starts and let's see the strength of the new Manchester united team next season that is when I will be able to predict who will win if they clash.
Having left Ajax for several years I don't think we can say Ten Hag holds Ajax's weakness just because he was once Ajax's coach. Some players have changed and each coach will have different game tactics. But Ten Hag can still understand the team's culture and playing patterns because he was once a coach. And I think the preparation of both teams will be the difference when they clash later.

For the record, currently Ajax and Manchester United have almost the same record last season. Ajax's performance was not that good last season. It could even be said to be one of the worst performances for Ajax in the Eredivise. Manchester United is also in the same situation. They wouldn't have even qualified for the UEL had they not managed to win the FA cup.

Apart from Manchester United, Tottenham, Porto and Roma, in my opinion, they should be considered as favorite teams next season. We realize that Ten Hag squad looks more dominant than all the other contestants. Maybe the European League will be Ten Hag main priority if in the course of next season they have difficulty finishing in the top four of the Premier League standings, the ticket to appear in the Champions League is a guarantee for Ten Hag to continue to maintain it. Meanwhile, the second qualifying round of Leg 1 of the Europa League will take place in the middle of the week, and there are several popular teams, such as Ajax, who are struggling to qualify for the next stage. It seems that Ajax has started to recover, after going through ups and downs in performance last season.

Beating Liverpool and City is amazing, but who hasn't United defeated in their history? This is their mainstay, not Ten Hag's feat. He only won the League Cup and FA Cup in two seasons. For a club like United, that's not exactly groundbreaking

All this "building a foundation" talk? Please relax. United's issues go beyond a few dismal seasons. Ten Hag organises them, but does that matter? They were messy before he arrived. Their performance is now average. Three finals in two seasons is fantastic, but silverware matters more, and a League Cup and FA Cup won't do

If Ten Hag can develop a Premier League-challenging squad, we can talk about "embers" and "resurgence." Until then, it's just a slow burn to...more mediocrity
Winning cups and defeating big clubs all part of their business because we all know they are having impressive history and many achievements, but things have never been comfortable for them because they are also having history of many problems and mess-ups as well which are also part of them into their history.

Even they are having good things but still Manchester United has never been easy place to live peacefully for any player or coach because they are part of many controversies and other things which give them headache for long time currently they are doing their best for having good results in coming season which is surely not easy but still they are able to do things which are possible for them.

No doubt this is important question can he build a well-organized club for the future as consistency is important for them.

But to be able to win the trophy, to be honest I would still doubt it. Because after all,  a team like Arsenal, which has been in competition for the title for the past two seasons,is still finding it difficult to win a trophy. Therefore, if we consider Manchester United over the last two seasons,  I think Mancester United will still find it difficult if they want to get the Premier League trophy.

I understand that. But Erik Ten Hag knows the club lacks standard and also depth and at the same time, Manchester United has got low quality players still in this same Manchester United squad. Until, they bring higher level and quality players who want to fight from the start of the game to the end, they'll never win the Premier League Competition.
If you notice this season, they're trying to assemble a strong squad. There's nothing that is happening right now that didn't happen to Sir Alex Ferguson years ago.

Players like, Christian Erikson, Aaron Wan Bisakka, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford are jot players that can win Manchester United the Premier League Competition.
I wonder if they don't go back to watch ex players like Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ruud Van Nistelrooy running the Premier League defenders down. How about, Carlos Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo including J-S Park?

Don't forget what Ralf Rangnick said about this Manchester United squad before he left the club. Eric Ten Hag is no magician, he needs a great and technically sound squad to carry out and execute his tactics. I understand why he wants his previous Ajax players right now.

If these two teams face each other, there will be a very strong aroma because as we know, Ten Hag is a former Ajax Amsterdam coach. However, professionalism must be maintained, Ten Hag will continue to field his best squad to achieve victory. Manchester United, which is very active in hunting for new players in the transfer market, is expected to increase in strength, several new players will be ready to make Manchester United perform better than the previous season.

Ajax may have difficulties, but anything can still happen depending on the situation that occurs within the squad and also when they are on the pitch. Nobody should underestimate anyone, every team has a chance and the biggest mistake a team can make is underestimating another team.

Winning Manchester City in the FA Cup final and lifting the cup is enough reason to believe that Erik Ten Hag is the main competent manager to lead the way for Manchester United. Erik Ten Hag is trying his possible best with Manchester United. They're complex team that needs direction towards reaching their prime and Erik Ten Hag sits in the managerial position to make it happen. It's going to be a long ride for the Red Devils but patience speaks in this scenario, thereby winning comes in as priorities.
Winning is a priority for all teams in every season and what Erik Ten Hag has done for Manchester United is a very good thing so that Manchester United can compete in the UEL competition next season after successfully winning the FA Cup at the end of last season. However, for next season, Erik Ten Hag still has to improve the team for more complete results because the competition next season will still be quite fierce so he cannot be satisfied with what he got last season through Manchester United.
@Josefjix, I don't know why you say Ten Hag is a competent coach to train Manchester United, winning the FA Cup last season is a way for Manchester United to play in the UEL now, winning the FA Cup a matter of pride for Manchester United now?
If so, of course their standards have dropped drastically now from the previous Premier League ruling team to a team that prioritizes the FA Cup at the end of the season, winning the FA Trophy should not make us forget the bad record created by Ten Hag last season.

Manchester United performance is still far from perfect even though currently they have brought in several new players, in the last two friendly matches played by Manchester United it is still visible that their game is not good, so if Ten Hag does not change its playing strategy next season then it will be difficult for we to seeing that Manchester United can win the European League and the English League.

These teams always have their own charm wherever they are and in the European league they will beat each other to win the title. Overall, I still pay quite a lot of attention to Roma considering that they have been regular participants here for many years and the matches they play are always not boring. I can say they will still be strong candidates to win the title.
