I will just view it like this; the Europa League competition is an avenue for teams that are not as strong and competitive like the bigger ones can compete within themselves and try to find their way through to win the tournament. Then after winning the trophy, they can now advance to the Champions League where the bigger teams are and showcase how good they are to have won the Europa League title. A team that always finds their way to the Champions league every year should have learned one or two things and would come back better and better as they get a chance to showcase in the competition again and again. All in all I would guess that we are going to see all these teams work hard to get it anyway, and United will be one of them. They are good enough with INEOS management, and there is hope for the team and they are capable of winning it, the talent is there. Only thing they need is less injuries this season so everyone can play, and also maybe not face tough opponents after group stages at all turns, a few good lucky draws would be awesome too.

It's too early for us to conclude Manchester United chances of becoming the favorite to win the Europa League next season just based on the teams you mentioned, currently we only see 13 teams that are sure to play in the Europa League next season, while the remaining 23 other teams we don't know for sure because their are currently struggling in the qualifying round and also the Champions League, So we don't know which team will next fill the 36 team slot that will play and compete in the league phase later, Manchester United is one of the big teams that are currently in the Europa League but there is still a possibility that other big teams that fail in the Champions League will become competitors of Manchester United later, besides that we should all be able to learn from the experience of the Europa League last season, which is actually the favorite team experienced defeat in the Europa League and Atlanta, who was never the favorite, actually managed to win the Europa League at the end of the season.

Braga and Ajax cannot be guaranteed of winning their matches even though I know that they are the favorites because no team should be underestimated in a competition like this since they didn't get here by luck.

I don't judge the quality of a club with friendly matches because they don't count and clubs and it doesn't tell if the club is strong or not.

Ajax and Braga and two traditional clubs when it comes to European competitions so I understand why many football fans wants to see the two clubs play in Europe's second tier competition next season since they couldn't finish in a position that's guarantees the UEFA Champions League competition. Ajax last season had one of their worst campaigns in recent years but considering how they've been performing in their preseason games, it's obvious that they've improved and are ready to fight for their place in the UEFA Europa League competition come next season. Braga in the other hand will have a better advantage over their play-off opponents because of how experienced the club is when it comes to European competitions so I expect both Ajax and Braga to make it to the finals of the competition
