Roma took a 2-0 lead through L. Paredes after successfully executing two penalties perfectly which made Agg 2-2, Roma were able to play freely without any pressure after winning 2-0, it was Leverkusen who started to be under pressure after Roma made the chance 50: 50. A mistake made by Roma defender G. Mancini after scoring an own goal gave Leverkusen the upper hand again, Roma was under pressure and had difficulty finding additional goals due to their players becoming increasingly tired. One goal scored by Leverkusen in extra time meant that Xabi Alonso team avoided defeat and had the chance to win the Europa League Trophy this season.

Yes Roma played well and they could be the team that could break Bayer's record, but somehow Alonso avoids defeat again. An own goal is unpleasant, especially when there is so little time left in the match and there is no strength left to score more. Bayer are favorites in the final, that was clear, but don't forget that Atalanta were able to beat Liverpool and stop them, so if they repeat that with Bayer it will be a great achievement. It looks like Atalanta is in great shape now, the final should be interesting.

It's hard to believe what we've seen from Leverkusen this season, but we really can see they can do that. This is not the first time they have scored a goal in the final minutes of a match, because in the Bundesliga they also did the same thing, such as when facing Borussia Dortmund and also when facing Stuttgart, they also did the same thing. This should have been anticipated by the opponent seeing how they could suffer when entering the final minutes.

Now they are truly in the final after they succeeded in winning 4-2 on aggregate against As Roma. The opponent they will face is Atalanta who successfully beat Marseille with a score of 3-0 and made the aggregate 4-1. Now there is only one step left to ensure that Leverkusen can win the Europa League title this season and if you look at their performance, they are the team that is the main favorite to become champions this season. Will they actually do it or will they get something surprising?

Roma came very closely to pull Leverkusen to a first defeat in this season and to 30 extra minutes but the mistakes of Svillar and Mancini helped Leverkusen to come back. A second goal helps Leverkusen to defend their unbeaten streak but it comes when Roma had nothing to lose.

Generally, Leverkusen played very well in attacking but Roma did their heroic performance too. It's just only one winner between Roma and Leverkusen, last season it's Roma and this season, it's Leverkusen. Their semi final matches in this season are more exciting than their matches last season, with more attacking.

With this defeat in Europa League, Roma have to return to Serie A, with another big match, with Atalanta at the weekend. They already fell behind Atalanta on Serie A ranking table and must beat Atalanta in this direct match to hope that they will take over the fifth position from Atalanta.

AS Roma, who appeared to attack from the first minute of the match, managed to equalize the aggregate at 2-2. Who would have thought that Bayer Leverkusen would not accept that they had to lose in front of thousands of their own fans who packed the stadium. They are very optimistic that with disciplined play they will be able to reply to the two goals which made the final result of leg 2 2-2.

Leverkusen always turns up at the end of every game they are playing when the opponent is about to win the game, Leverkusen makes the game end draw in 97 minutes when the game is about to end, I said it before the game should start, I stated that Leverkusen will defeat Roma no matter how hard Roma tried Leverkusen must find a way to win the match, Leverkusen did not only find a way to win the match they also want to keep their record of unbeaten record throughout the season and at the end of the game they score a goal and make the goal 2:2 to keep their record, the way Leverkusen is performing this season is very impressive maybe Xabi Alonso got the believe and also how to win a game at the end of the game with Real Madrid because they are winning games like Real Madrid.

The final is going to be played between Leverkusen and Atlanta,  the match is going to be tough because both teams are very strong and they are having a good season, but in terms of scoring goals and winning mentality Leverkusen is better than Atlanta, Leverkusen can defeat Atlanta and win the trophy, the reason why I said that is because of the team performance, although a game can change and anything can happen but with Leverkusen performance this season they are the favorite team to win this season Europa league title.

It happened again, in the last minutes leverkusen scores a goal, that was minute 97. They cant lose, thats how it looks, it is unbelievable. Leverkusen in the final, that is what a lot of people have bet and that is how it should be, they are currently the strongest team in Germany. Atalanta Bergamo is a big surprise for me, in Serie A they are on 5th place, in the Italian Cup they are in the final and now also in the final of the Europa League, this is already a very successful year for Bergamo. I dont think they will win the Italian Cup, they play against Juventus Turin and i dont think they will win the Europa League, Leverkusen are the favorite.

I thought Bayer Leverkusen had to go through extra time because they were 0-2 behind which made the aggregate goals 2-2, but once again the Bayer squad played with high spirit to ensure a place in the European league final was theirs, I felt sorry for Mancini's mistake, that mistake seemed to put Roma down and Bayer was able to play more aggressively to equalize, and they not only made it to the final but once again managed to maintain their unbeaten record.

Atalanta may not be the favorites in the final, but they are the most impressive team to make it to the final, so Bayer Leverkusen must be wary of Atalanta's resistance. This should be an evenly contested final even though Bayer will be the big favourite.

Leverkusen's defense was so strong that if it weren't for the penalty kick, Roma might have had difficulty penetrating Leverkusen's goal, like in the first leg where Roma had difficulty scoring goals so Roma ended up not scoring a goal against Leverkusen. Roma was lucky because they got a penalty so they were able to take a 2 goal lead before Roma players made a mistake and created an own goal which made the Leverkusen players more confident to score an additional goal to equalize. For some reason when Leverkusen almost experienced defeat but there was something that made Leverkusen lucky that day to continue its unbeaten record even though if Roma did not make a mistake, Leverkusen could have suffered their first defeat.

Even though they lost by 1 goal in today's match, Leverkusen will still qualify for the final because Leverkusen has created 2 aggregates in the first leg, Roma be unlucky maybe if they are able to defend these 2 goals, they will get the opportunity with a penalty shootout to qualify for the final, but unfortunately Roma will have to swallowed the bitter pill of defeat and failed to reach the final like last season, however, Roma still cannot just give up on fighting again in the Europa League next season if this season ends up finishing in the Europa League zone.

Atalanta can really make optimal use of the advantage of playing at home. Overall they still lost a little in possession of the ball but in the first half, Atalanta really dominated the game and it was clear that Marseille could not provide any significant resistance. The tempo of the game seemed to decrease after Atalanta managed to score the second goal and this gave Marseille quite a lot of opportunities to build attacks but unfortunately, Marseille could not take advantage of every opportunity they got and instead of reducing their deficit, they even conceded again in the final minute.

Atalanta does have a good record against Bayer Leverkusen but the 2 wins they got were last season and in my opinion, it would clearly be different if they faced the current Bayer Leverkusen. This season Bayer Leverkusen has shown very impressive improvement. They turned into a very solid team and even they had already confirmed themselves as Bundesliga champions this season. What is quite astonishing is that Bayer Leverkusen has never lost in the Bundesliga and Europa League, and I think this gives Leverkusen very high motivation to keep this record from being broken, so they will do everything to at least not lose in any match they play.

what Xabi and Leverkusen have shown this season will make them the favorites to win the Europa League this season. That doesn't mean it will be easy for them to face Atalanta in the final match. but with all their achievements this season of course all fans will favorite them.
However, in the final match, everything can be unexpected. Leverkusen even managed to hold Roma to a draw at home. which many observers would have seen Leverkusen win quite easily at home.
The final will be very tight, I don't expect there to be more than 3 goals in normal time.

The defense and attack made by Leverkusen did look quite amazing in that match, but one of Roma's defenders also made a mistake with an own goal, making the match a draw. However, if there had not been an own goal in that match, Roma would not have qualified for the Europa League final because they lost on aggregate goals to Leverkusen. But with this draw, Leverkusen has also succeeded in maintaining their unbeaten streak this season in any competition and this has also given a lot of satisfaction to Leverkusen who have successfully advanced to the Europa League final this season.

If Roma had played like this in the first leg, maybe the result would have been different. Roma were unable to score a single goal when playing at the Olimpico, but they easily scored two goals at Leverkusen.
Luck was not on Roma side, their lead was in vain after Mancini scored an own goal which made his team's struggle even harder. The Roma players immediately went down after the goal because they felt it was very difficult to add to their tally before the end of the match. Leverkusen immediately took advantage of the situation after being in a favorable situation, an additional goal in the extra minute made Leverkusen succeed in maintaining its unbeaten record this season.

Xabi's job is now constantly breaking his previous record and he is still running to. It's amazing to see how Leverkusen is thrashing Roma at the end of game. Roma deserved it because they were playing so poorly in the second half and yet again roma has recording worst result compared to the last season. It tells me right if mourinho is far better thanrossi. It started with Roma's goalkeeper missing the ball, which hit a Roma defender and deflected into the goal.
That is an unbelievable result. It's amazing to see how Leverkusen was always able to find a way to avoid losing to their opponents. I meant Leverkusen does not have a lot of star players.

The club continues to try to rush through everything without losing and yet again xabi is also getting even closer to winning three trophies at the same time. Xabi might be able to record a new record. This reminds me of Real Madrid, wzhich was constantly making comebacks at the end of games against bayern munich in the previous match of champion league.
It's pretty much the same as when Madrid defeated Bayern Munich. Leverkusen now has a specialization for coming back at the end of the game which is also almost similar to the what real madrid did.

Having said that the club was consistently performing well in the second half and it seems like leverkusen will continue its snowball till the end of season. The better if leverkusen will still able to keep the momentum till next season.  

Atalanta really played well and performed well throughout the match against Marseille, and it was clear that Marseille barely put up any resistance throughout the first half and even into the second half.
And at the start of the second half Atalanta were still playing well so they were able to increase their lead to 2-0 through Matteo Ruggeri's goal in the 52nd minute and this goal was thanks to Lookman's assist.
And the good thing is, after winning 2-0, Atlanta tended to play downhill and Atalanta was more passive and strengthened its defense when Marseille controlled the ball and tried to score. And Atalanta managed to play a good strategy and game, when Marseille continued to attack in the second half until the end of the match. And Atalanta only relied on counterattack opportunities, they managed to increase the score to 3-0 in extra time 90+4 and the goal was scored by El Bilal Tooure which made them qualify for the final.

And Atalanta will meet Leverkusen in the final, in my opinion if you look at Atalanta's game and tactics, they have the ability to beat Leverkusen in the final because the two teams have met twice, and Atalanta always wins.

Atalanta vs olympique de marseille is the most interesting match as here 3 goal margin has ensured Atalanta in the final match. Atalanta attacked their opponents brilliantly in this match, giving them no chance at home. They are now in the final after a strong attack to beat olympique de marseille so far they will have a chance to win the trophy in the Europa League. Although we can see that one team from the Italian League has been very successful is Atalanta and they will work hard enough to win the Europa League and have a strong attacking mindset. We have seen them play brilliantly and after beating Liverpool, Atalanta have now beaten a few other teams and entered the final with a huge margin. Although the next match is now against Leverkusen, Atalanta still have a good chance of winning the title, of course, since the two teams have entered the final, there will be a lot of excitement between them, and Atalanta's coach has done a great job for the team in a short time.

In my opinion, in this 2nd leg match, AS Roma game was not that bad. They had a chance when they able to scored 2 goals. However, when an own goal occurs, it seems like destroying the opportunity. An own goal that occurred 8 minutes before the end of regular time, had an effect on the players' mentality. It's proven when Leverkusen managed to add 1 goal in injury time and save the unbeaten record they have achieved so far.

Atalanta are definitely not favourites, I don't expect much in the final against Leverkusen. However, I still hope Atalanta will be able to become the team that manages to break Leverkusen's record. Such a mission impossible, but if it happens, both clubs still create their own history.

Xabi Alonso is showing his ability to make great comebacks just like he did when he played for Real Madrid. Bayern Leverkusen has been playing very well in their domestic league always trying to win. I want to see if they will keep up this intensity next season. I think they will win Europa League even though Atalanta is strong team. Alonso smart tactics and team determination have helped them succeed. Great job to Alonso and the whole team for playing so well this season They have shown that they are a team to be taken seriously. Let's see if they can keep up this good work and make next season just as exciting.

Unbeatable for the entire season, combined with treble winners. That's how amazing Xabi Alonso is. The importance of a club hiring the right coach to manage it and this is the power of good coach even xabi was only doing minor change and it gave very big impact. It's unbelievable that Xabi Alonso continues to record with Leverkusen. I'm not surprised that so many teams wanted him to be their appointment this time but yet snubs it all for leverkusen.
Congratulations to Leverkusen on defeating AS Roma. Roma is bad, and Rossi is overrated. It appears that Leverkusen will win their last game against Atalanta soon. I don't doubt it because Leverkusen is only getting better.

I hope this winning streak continues until next season. It will set a new record that no club has ever achieved. Glad Leverkusen has hired the best coach.

This is their end goal, They're only not interested in getting the trophies home but also to create a memorable record along side in the history of FC Bayern Leverkusen club.  Bayern Leverkusen as a team and club would enjoy one of their most interesting season in the history of the club if eventually they won the Eropa Cup trophy with this unbeatable record which will be a remarkable achievement for Xabi Alonso his current players.
