What I see is that the Roma players don't have as much energy as the Bayer Leverkusen players have. They seemed to think this match would be theirs because they were playing at home but what happened on the field was different from what they imagined, it turned out that Bayer Leverkusen played very well and it seemed as if they didn't have the fatigue to chase the ball throughout the match. After those 2 goals, it was quite clear that the Roma players felt very frustrated and they were confused about what to do. Though they had some good chances but they couldn't make it a goal.
There were no surprises, Leverkusen is indeed stronger than Roma, but what Roma have done in the last few matches, especially since being coached by De Rossi, has made many people have high expectations of this team, but in fact the expected surprise did not happen.
Leverkusen deserves to win this match and now there are only a few steps left for Leverkusen to be in the final, the second leg will be easier for Leverkusen because they will play at home.
And I'm sure Leverkusen will be able to maintain their unbeaten record this season, this team is truly extraordinary.

AS Roma's performance is good, but not so good when compared to Bayer Leverkusen, which so far no club has been able to beat them in any competition, even though I initially thought AS Roma would be able to do it in their first meeting at the UEL this time but it turns out AS Roma still couldn't stop them. Bayer Leverkusen, even though their head to head showed that AS Roma dominated the victory over Bayer Leverkusen, but perhaps because of Alonso's hard work who provided an extraordinary strategy, AS Roma could not read the strategy used by the Bayer players.

I don't know how long Bayer Leverkusen will suffer their first defeat this season, even in the Bundesliga. Bayer Leverkusen still hasn't given up losing even though they have won the Bundesliga, so I think as long as they still have strong stamina they will continue to perform optimally and be unbeatable, other clubs have to admit the greatness of Bayer Leverkusen and acknowledged the greatness of its coach.

indeed Roma experienced a fairly good increase in performance after de Rossi coaching, but the defeat from Leverkusen seemed to indicate if indeed the quality of the game and also the coach's strategy became things that deserved to be improved by De Rossi in the second leg later, Roma was able to keep pace with the Leverkusen game in the match but the mentality and also the strategy applied by Alonso to the leverkusen game in the match was certainly one of the differentiators that made Leverkusen able to excel in the game. That match, I think for now De Rossi must be able to improve the strategy and also the quality of Roma's game to face Leverkusen in the second leg.

I think for now Leverkusen are closer to reaching the final, although Roma can bounce back in the second leg but it looks like it will be difficult for them to beat Leverkusen 3-0 on Aggregate at Leverkusen home , Roma chance is of course still there if indeed Roma can improve their game in the second leg, but to be honest,  I am a little Pessimistic if Roma can score at Leverkusen home   later, let alone beat Leverkusen, of course for now it is a little impossible to do.
I mean it was obvious that Leverkusen is the better team, and we knew this even before the game started, look at all the odds at everywhere, they will show you that every odd provider believed that Leverkusen was the better team, so it is not like a new thing. I get that it may feel like it is a new thing, because some people assumed that Roma would have a chance, but the reality is that we are not going to really see anything like that, even with De Rossi period being better, their "better" is not better than Leverkusen.

Xabi and Leverkusen hasn't lost a single game all season long, thinking that their first would come from Roma would have been weird, this team did not even lose to Bayern, who is at semi finals of UCL right now.

I also think of that, but with a 50% belief because I know that their unbeaten performance will hardly be cut off by Roma. I was either expecting them to go on a draw or a win for Leverkusen, which ended up as a win for Leverkusen, but no doubt Roma also played their best in the game because they really tried because they also made an attempt. But all I am putting into consideration now is that Leverkusen should just wait for a few weeks to hold their trophy because they cannot be stopped by any of the teams left again.

Furthermore, maybe you have become their fan without your knowledge, because even if you are fain, that is the least feeling that you might encounter, so you should know how to manage your emotions, especially on football.
Roma losing doesn't mean they played badly because while on the field I was quite satisfied with what Roma showed even though they didn't win. Because against Leverkusen you need brilliant tactics, for now Roma still can't prove it, but in the future De Rossi will learn a lot and continue to develop his skills in training players. Leverkusen unbeaten continues and who knows how long their dominance will last and also which club will be able to beat Xabi strategy on the field. Now what makes everyone curious is just who managed to bring Leverkusen to its knees. We need to be a little patient, maybe the UCL is the right time to see Leverkusen dominance stop.

....

This is just the same scenario as mine, because I was not expecting to see what I saw yesterday. I have high hopes for AS Roma. but unfortunately i was disappointed, but that is just what is known as football, they most likely be up and down, but my prediction was either 1-0 for AS Roma or 1-1, which even in the game i still have hope on them, but when Floria Wetz scored the first goal at 28 minutes of the game i was still hoping to see an equalizing goal from AS Roma. but they were not able to. I lost hope completely when I saw the second goal, and at the end, I got a headache.

Seriously, I was not happy yesterday because I put AS Roma as my favorite to go with the trophy this season, but unfortunately, they won't be able to achieve what I was in yesterday's situation because of them, and I am not even a fan, so what if I am a fan? How will that end?

I'm actually not a Leverkusen supporter but in yesterday's bet I chose Leverkusen, well Leverkusen's winning statistics have been very high since the start of the season so it would be a mistake not to choose Leverkusen from the start vs Roma, in the 2nd leg later when I will choose Leverkusen too, their chances of winning Becoming European League champion is very wide open.

Lukaku was exactly who he is. He misses a lot of scoring chances and plays weakly against strong teams. If he were different he would be at Inter and not at Roma, I believe in Dybala more than in him.
In general, the likelihood that BTTS would play was high given Roma’s new model of play, but Bayer turned out to be too strong for it. It is obvious that Xabi prepared the team specifically for this game (it’s good when the national championship is already in your pocket and you can concentrate on individual tournaments) and they played very confidently.
same with me, too.
but the problem is that some of the other players have more confidence in Lukaku, who often passes the ball to Lukaku, while Dybala actually has a greater chance of scoring because I see he is more agile than Lukaku, he has a big body but is only physically strong, whereas Dybala has internal agility controlling the ball.
TBH, I was hesitant about betting on BTTS in yesterday's match but I was just trying to find something better but believe me I have other options that won't make me lose. Grin
In the second leg, it looks like I won't bet on BTTS anymore but will prefer to bet on the over or maybe bet on Leverkusen winning.
what do you think about the second leg betting?
It all depends on what Roma chooses: to concentrate on maintaining 5th place in Serie A (which gives a ticket to the Champions League) or to go all-in in the return game. I already wrote in another thread that in my opinion, if Roma chooses the second option and plays an open game, Bayer will tear them apart 4-1 or something like that. But if Roma accepts elimination from the Europa League, then they will not leave Leverkusen without conceding goals either, so the total over looks like a good choice.

A few days ago I also thought that Roma could qualify for the final, although Leverkusen are in great form and are unbeaten so far. But I don't think so at the moment. Roma will not qualify for the Europa League final. They should now give up Europa League hopes.

Roma played very badly in the home match of the first leg. Although the match was Roma's home match, we saw the dominance of Leverkusen's players throughout the match. Roma had only 8 shots in the entire match. On the other hand, the Leverkusen players made a total of 19 shots. And as expected the Leverkusen team won 2-0. I don't see a chance of Roma making a comeback in the second leg away match after losing 2-0 at home. I predict that Leverkusen will win the second leg as well.

We know there's presence of other elite teams that's ready to place their huge bids for Xabi Alonso but with the current level this spectacular coach find himself, he chooses to remain in Bayer Leverkusen to upgrade the entire level of the club. Xabi Alonso is careful because any slightest wrong choice will definitely see the end of his career. He's doing an amazing job for Bayer Leverkussen this season, everyone gives him his credits because he deserves them.
Sometimes the feeling of comfort that a coach has gained after giving a team a difficult struggle will always be difficult to let go of. So Xabi Alonso still wants to stay at Bayer Leverkusen in order to continue the extraordinary things that have happened this season for next season. Because if Bayer Leverkusen has been able to prove the toughness of a team, of course it wouldn't be wrong for Xabi Alonso to continue staying with that team and reject offers from other teams for his career next season.
In fact, the challenge for Xabi Alonso is next season, because maintaining his performance will be more difficult to do, and if he fails to maintain Leverkusen's performance this season, then he will be considered a coach who just had great luck this season by being able to bring Leverkusen to the championship. and they even have the chance to win the treble.
He has to prove it next season, so I think this is the right decision for him to stay with Leverkusen next season. With the squad he currently has he can show an extraordinary game and next season he can bring in new ammunition to complement the squad he has now. Next season they will be in the Champions League, the competition will be more difficult there and he has to prove that he can compete.

I also have the same thoughts for Xabi Alonso especially as Bayer Leverkusen is currently giving good results at virtually all the fixtures they had. No manager will like to leave such promising club now especially that it has shown that his efforts have taken the club this far. But I think the top management of the club to decide, however, Xabi Alonso's wishes will be to fire on in the Champions league next season. Why I feel Xabi Alonso still have more season to stay back is because of how he has understood the first eleven players and the entire squad depth of the team.

So, I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't mind to turn other juicy offers down to carry on with his career at Bayer Leverkusen the Bundesliga giants while he works towards recruiting stronger players to meet a competitive Champions league and Bundesliga of next season.
Yes, it could be that the feeling of comfort makes Alonso prefer to stay at Leverkusen. But I think the obstacles next season will be tougher and difficult to repeat like this season. It is true that assessments are not always balanced, but Leverkusen fans must always have gratitude even if one day Alonso fails to give his best for the team.

Alonso's figure has been quite phenomenal this season so that several elite European teams are starting to take an interest in him. But Alonso has stated that he will stay and maybe he will prove his capacity as a coach with character and not just as a coach who just happens to be able to achieve achievements.
Xabi decision to choose to stay is certainly the right one, Xabi doesn't just want to prove his quality, but Xabi still believes that together with Leverkusen they can achieve success again next season. If Xabi leaves for another club, he will have to start over to build squad depth, where everything will have to start from scratch, and will definitely need more adaptation time. Meanwhile at Leverkusen everything is ready, they just have to fight next season, although it is believed that Xabi will add depth to his squad too.

It is true that the unbeaten record they have created at the moment will be difficult to maintain, but that is not a big problem, where the real priority is winning another trophy. If this season Leverkusen achieves the treble winner by going undefeated, then even the top European teams should be wary when they try their luck against them next season. So far, we are still wondering how long Leverkusen will be undefeated, and maybe the Europa League and DFB Pokal trophies will be won in this way.

The trust that exists between management, Xabi and the players is the main indicator of why Leverkusen can be as successful as it is today. If at the end of this season Leverkusen really succeeds in winning the treble, I think more clubs will look at Xabi in the future. What is clear is that the impressive performance shown by Leverkusen this season has amazed us all, and at first we didn't believe they would be as strong as they are now.

Leverkusen is still achieving perfect results at this time. I see no reason for him to leave from the club that has helped him to make his name big. Nonetheless, he rejects Bayern Munich's offer and it was also hurting munich cused by club wanted him to coaching the bayern munich squad. It demonstrates that Xabi Alonso's loyalty to the club has helped him make a big name for himself after he has successfully made his club to still remain unbeatble even after 45 games. Bayern Leverkusen is not willing to lose him either and this is a big deal for him.

He received many offers from various clubs but it doesn't care about that, his heart was set on Leverkusen. Without a doubt, he has been referred to as a phenomenal coach this decade with unbelievable achievement. It will be amazing if win streak will continue till next season. Leverkusen was not a strong club before he joined. He made minor changes in the club and it was successfully gave significant impact on the overall performance of the club's players.

So far, 47 matches have resulted in zero losses. This fucking may continue as long as Leverkusen wins the Europa League with perfect results. Leverkusen should have no trouble defeating Roma at home after winning the first leg by two goals.

Look at the outright odds. Leverkusen is leading with huge gap compared to the other participants. No doubt that if majority of people are picking leverkusen to win the europa league this season. Roma will be failed again after it was able reaching final last season.
People can argue de rossi better in the gameplay but mourinho is still irreplaceable coach for the club. The winning mentality has made it difference.

I'm talking about the future. Maybe coach Xabi Alonso will only stay at Leverkusen for one more season. Meanwhile, coach Alonso is being hunted by many prominent European clubs with special incentives. I mentioned the possibility of Alonso joining Real Madrid. Maybe Xabi Alonso will become Real Madrid's coach one day. I know for sure that will happen. Alonso is a great coach, and Leverkusen certainly wants to keep him. But in the future, who knows? The current reality is that good coaches and good players will find their way to bigger clubs and tournaments in the Bundesliga.

Xabi Alonso with his potential now is very likely to become an outstanding coach in the future, he is very talented and able to beat many coaches who have experienced more than him, he built strength at Bayern Leverkusen which was rarely noticed by the media, but today little by little reached the top and became one of the best and became the choice for a bet to win, I don't know how he poses every day but what I believe is that he works harder than most coaches to build strength at Bayern Leverkusen to build his strength, his future is extraordinary, whether he returns to Real Madrid or Liverpool or any team he will definitely build his history very well.

Maybe he is still staying at Bayern Leverkusen because he is not satisfied or still has a lot to learn and or he already feels comfortable with the Leverkusen players now.

result is not very pleasant and how is it possible for Roma without scoring a single score against Leverkusen when Roma have a very good chance of playing at home and can you see how many times Roma has wasted opportunities without being able to score when they get good opportunities?
IMO, Roma just lacked focus in that match and didn't want to try to attack closer and shot the ball more often from long distances.
but where is Lukaku? I mean why doesn't Lukaku have his usual mentality?

and Marseille vs Atalanta, both teams performed well yesterday, they had very careful performances, neither team dominated the match, but both teams maintained their defensive line to still end in a draw, but what is very clear here is Atalanta after conceding 1 score, Atalanta tried to use a defensive strategy to get a draw and reply in the second leg.

Lukaku was exactly who he is. He misses a lot of scoring chances and plays weakly against strong teams. If he were different he would be at Inter and not at Roma, I believe in Dybala more than in him.

He has achieved everything with Leverkusen, praise continues to be showered on him after successfully bringing Leverkusen to the first Bundesliga trophy in the club's history. He is an extraordinary figure in Leverkusen success, of course he will not just destroy what has been built so far, he has not thought about moving to another club because he still has big targets to achieve. Alonso must focus on his team's struggle which still has the chance to win the Treble this season, now Leverkusen is very close to the Europa League final after successfully beating Roma at the Olimpico.

I think it is very natural that other elite clubs are very interested in bringing him in, his success in raising Leverkusen level makes him an extraordinary figure from the current generation of young coaches. A new era in his career has just begun with Leverkusen, Alonso is highly appreciated by Leverkusen fans, he also has close chemistry with his players, staying at Leverkusen is the best decision for him for a better future.

I'm not bothered about what he would achieve this season again, he is a good example of the term " Tested, Approved And Trusted "
Hopefully, he is gonna be backed up by the management next season. So much will be achieved in the Champions League Competition, he has done well in the European Europa League Competition, I want to see him bring that Into the Uefa Champions League Competition.

I'm already expecting the European Europa League Finals against Marseille already. It's just a little bit of days ahead amd it would be hundred percent complete.

I wanted him to move to Bayern Munich so bad, but I loved the way it came from his own point of view which I didn't get to see. It would be hurting to just join up with Bayern Munich next season. ( Biq Disrespect )
Congratulations to them ahead, I know they'll be winning the treble this season.

We might not have thought that Leverkusen was still unbeaten, in fact they continued to extend their record when they played in the semi-finals away to Roma. De Rossi still doesn't seem capable enough to stop Xabi Alonso in this competition and as we can see there was no difficulty at all for Leverkusen to steal the lead in the first leg.

It all started with a blunder made by a Roma defender and at that moment Florian Wirtz gave Leverkusen the lead. However, this is important capital ahead of the second leg, so it is certain that Leverkusen's chances will be greater when they play at home and Roma can only hope for a miracle if they are still thinking about getting to the final round.

I personally still believe Bayer Leverkusen will be able to continue its unbeaten trend this season, of course until Bayer Leverkusen manages to win all the trophies or get the treble winner this season. The reason I am still very confident that Bayer Leverkusen will continue its unbeaten trend this season is because Bayer Leverkusen is still consistent in the Bundesliga even though Bayer Leverkusen has won the Bundesliga trophy but after that, Bayer Leverkusen still does not accept the result of losing because after all, Bayer Leverkusen also still continuing to make great efforts until the minute of injury time to end the match unbeaten. Moreover, recently AS Roma's performance seems to have declined slightly and therefore, I personally remain confident that Bayer Leverkusen will continue to win or draw and will be unbeaten in all competitions until this season ends.
Leverkusen remains on track to break a new record soon. We will be seeing how public will be hyping the performance from leverkusen. it will be amazing if leverkusen will remain unbeatable till it will get treble winners. The win against Roma in the first leg of the Europa League demonstrated how confident the club was in its performance and it's still continue this time even leverkusen ns recording. It was a winning away game, so Roma will undoubtedly win the game soon. This season, we will see Leverkusen compete in the Europa League of final match, i strongly believe lerverkusen will able to manage it enter to the final.

I don't see Roma having a chance to advance to the final after losing by a large margin to Leverkusen in the first leg and it was also burdening all of roma's players. they were performing so poorly unlike last season when mourinho was still there. The opportunity has vanished because the gap is too large. I expect Leverkusen to score another goal in the second leg and it will also reduce roma's chance to qualify.

It is only a matter of time before Roma is eliminated from the Europa League due to their poor performance. Roma's gameplay was so bad to watch. Lvverkusen deserved to win their game against Roma soon.
