After seeing the result of the first meeting between Liverpool and Atlanta in Anfield, I knew Liverpool will not survive it. Many people believed that Liverpool will make a miraculous comeback back as they did against Barcelona in the past, but everyday is not Xmas. I can confidently say that Klopp messed with his chances and it is very clear to him that he made wrong decisions by not taking the first leg in Anfield so seriously.

In the other side of the English clubs, I didn't even expect Westham to resist Leverkusen but surprisingly they nearly upturned the result of not that this season is purely for Xavi Alonso and his boys.

The EPL teams are getting eliminated out of international competitions by the day. Yesterday it was Arsenal and Manchester City out of the UCL, today it’s West Ham United and Liverpool out of the Europa by Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen. What’s become of EPL teams in internal competitions.

West Ham weren’t so good today, they didn’t do much to be more offensive and even so, they let loose some unbelievable chances like the ball that was sent flying by the eventually equalizing goal scorer for Bayer Leverkusen, that was a terrible chance to have been given away and he couldn’t take it but, still came back for a redemption mood and got his goal eventually.

Liverpool has lost it, this is why it is advisable for people to take their chances serious, Liverpool missed it the last  time, how would such a team like Liverpool allow their opponent to win them with such a goal gap, though it is possible for any team to be involved in such situation but it shouldn't be in a game thats crucial as that match, I expected Liverpool to close that gap that same fay but they failed to achieve and what do we expect from Atlanta, atlanta did there best to win the first leg with a comfortable goal and in this second leg they did as expected by their fans which is defending the existing goal, they qualification the qualification to the next stage and I think Liverpool should learn the next time.

I don't know the motivational spirit that is in Leverkusen which makes them never to give up until the match is over. I could remember when they were plying against Qarabag in the second league knock out stage, it was 2-0, and Leverkusen was able to draw that match 2-2. The players are always willing to score no matter the little time left. Leverkusen will reach the finals, but I don't know if they will lift up the trophy, because we might see something different on that day.

Bayer Leverkusen apparently didn't want their current unbeaten record to end at the hands of West Ham, so Leverkusen played very enthusiastically and finally equalized the score in the 89th minute. This result makes Leverkusen even stronger as a candidate to win the Europa League this season after favorite Liverpool were finally eliminated by Atalanta.

From this draw with West Ham, Bayer Leverkusen qualified for the Europa League semifinals with a 3-1 aggregate lead. In the semifinal match, Leverkusen will face AS Roma after eliminating AC Milan, who is also the favorite team to win. This will be the most intense match between the two teams, because As Roma were also runners up in the Europa League last season.

Liverpool were playing very well from the beginning of the season, but when it got closer to the end of the season, they started to play badly, which looked like the same Liverpool as last season. but that in my opinion is because last season Liverpool had certain players and this season they have exactly the same players, so if last season's squad failed to bring good results, what led the Liverpool coach to think that the same squad that failed last season, would it bring good results this season? it just doesn't make sense. Liverpool should have made some signings in last year's transfer window. If a team does not invest in signings, then that team cannot expect to obtain good results. If we look at Liverpool's opponent, Atalanta, they are not a strong team. in other words, liverpool was eliminated by a weak opponent, but as liverpool is very weak, that's why they were eliminated


When De Rossi arrived at Roma I also thought he would fail, but when he won the first game with Roma and I could see that Roma were playing very well, I could understand that it was the best decision that Roma management took in hire him. It's funny that I read people's comments on YouTube saying that De Rossi was lucky in the first victories because they were games against weak teams, when Roma lost in the game against Inter, people's comments increased, they were critical comments. but in the following games De Rossi won and even though he won, people kept saying that he won because he was playing against weak teams. So I wonder what people will say now that Roma have defeated Milan.

I believe that if Roma in the 2 half had been playing with 11 players on the field, then Roma would have been able to score more goals, Zeki Çelik is a defender, so with the red card he had, it caused Roma to be weakened in defense , so Roma started to play in defense after the red card. But if Roma hadn't had the red card, I believe they would have scored more than 2 goals and would have won this game more comfortably

West Ham should have scored all their goals in the first half, but they could not, and in the second half Bayer Leverkusen improved so much that they started becoming more of a threat to the West Ham defenders. Their late goal took away the remaining hopes of the West Ham players that they could equalize. This is an added win to Bayer Leverkusen's good record this season of being unbeaten.
Atalanta did well to make sure Liverpool could not get back into the game, their tactics to defend really worked.

It's going to be very hard for any team to break Leverkusen's unbeaten record. It was Liverpool; I had hoped that they could break that unbeaten streak, but finally, Liverpool was eliminated by Atalanta. So now I think Leverkusen may probably win this Europa trophy unbeaten. I don't really see any team that is stronger than them in the competition. Again, Roma may give them a tough time, but I have confidence in Leverkusen that they will win against Roma. And if they win against Roma, why am I saying this? It's because Leverkusen is fully focused on the Europa League now. There's no other competition that will divert their attention because they have already won the Bundesliga."

Liverpool were eliminated after their momentum crumbled in domestic competitions and in the first leg which was devastated by Atalanta's 3 goals.
In today's match they were not bad with the ball control they had and the strong determination they continued to do even the penalty goal in the first 10 minutes was a good breath of fresh air but in this match Atalanta did not care about the 1 goal Liverpool got and continued to focus on parking the bus and defending well.
Liverpool had difficulty penetrating Atalanta's defense, which totally defended for 90 minutes of normal matches this time, making some players frustrated because of the difficulty of penetrating the defense that Atalanta had.

11 Atalanta defenders (because they only focus on defense) in the end succeeded in making the great strength and probability of the club that will become the champion just disappear at this time because the strongest club in terms of players and performance has been eliminated now.

Indeed. Scoring 3 goals isn't easy, specifically when Liverpool play against a team from Serie A. Atalanta has a good defense, it is not easy to steal goals from Atalanta. Liverpool played quite well in this second leg, even though they played as guests, but they dominated the match more than Atalanta. They also had several good opportunities which could have been the second goal, but their finishing touch was not that good. I think the 3-0 defeat in the first leg was quite a pressure for Liverpool, as a result, in tonight's match they were unable to play freely and in the second half it was clear that Liverpool looked very frustrated. Atalanta deserved to get a ticket to the semifinals because they played very impressively in the first leg.

This time my three predictions were right on target, according to my estimates. Previously I said Liverpool would win this match, but I was not sure they would qualify for the next phase. and yeah, Liverpool was only able to score 1 goal. unfortunately, if I bet on Over, it means the match doesn't match my expectations. I think there will be a lot of goals in this match. in other words, Liverpool must be eliminated and what is certain is that many of their fans will be disappointed.

West Ham vs Bayer Leverkusen match, the match ended in a draw with a score of 1-1. A draw is enough for Xabi Alonso's squad to advance to the next round, and prepare tactics to fight with the team that will be their opponent in the Europa League semifinal match later.

Well, this match is the one I'm most looking forward to, AS Roma vs AC Milan.
There were many who doubted Roma, even from the first leg. but what happened, De Rossi sent AC Milan home and did not continue this competition to Italy to focus on Serie A. In this match, AS Roma was able to beat Roma with a score of 2-1. even though one of the AS Roma players was given a red card in the 31st minute, until the first half ended, Milan was unable to break through the goal for De Rossi's squad.  In the second half, Milan was only able to reduce their defeat in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, it didn't take Stefano Pioli's team through to the next phase. well, it's just a matter of time for Stefano Pioli to let go of the coaching chair at AC Milan. Overall, this match was as I predicted. well, quite entertaining.

Liverpool mistake started right from their first leg because even the way they was perform in that very their performance was so poorly, but i take it that it is all about football sometime a team can doing at time they will missed up that is why in their first leg I didn't blame I was thinking that may when come to play second leg they will put much effort and make sure they dominate the match sin they're is aggregate between they try and have so many for them to qualify to the next round.

But Liverpool have disappointed themselves because their unable to present their performance well against Atlanta, could you imagine Liverpool was having a early goal which was even given me hope that they can maintain their consistent and try add the remaining two to stop the aggregated but they make that possible due to how they perform a very poorly performance.

Knowing that even the last-minute goal of AC Milan is just to clear is zero because the goal is of no use to them; they have already lost against AS Roma, and with the potentiality for De Rossi as known to everyone, and again, as you have mentioned, we all know that the performance that they have been displaying will take them to the finals, and if with higher maintenance of their performance which means that De Rossi will just increase their performance against the best match, so that will definitely mean that they will definitely make it to go home with the Europa League trophy this season, and that will make many know that it is not good to downgrade the ability of someone because no one thought De Rossi would make it so far with AS Roma, but he has already done it and will try to get the trophy this season. 

Goodbye Liverpool and Milan who are the 2 strongest candidates to become champions with the quality of players and experience they have but they must be knocked down surprisingly in the quarter-finals even though we know that this is not too strange in the Europa League because every season there are always surprises like this.

Statistically I quite like the performance of Milan and Liverpool but still it is not enough because when a club cannot score it is difficult for them to qualify and that happened in the Liverpool match.
The unexpected defeat in the first leg was disastrous for themselves as they lost their momentum and in today's game despite their strength and dominance it wasn't enough as the 3-goal aggregate was clearly weighing them down and Atalanta knew that even if they lost as long as they didn't concede more than 3 goals they were safe so they continued to defend with waves of attacks.
Leverkusen's treble hopes are now wide open in terms of chances, let's hope they don't follow the other 2 favourites who were eliminated unexpectedly.

Right. Leverkusen's record was almost broken because of West Ham. However, in the end Leverksuen were able to equalize in the second half through a goal from one of their substitutes. Well, Xabi is indeed quite careful about that. In fact, some of the top players are usually saved to compete in the second round. This can really minimize injuries and maintain performance in the first and second half

Leverkusen's victory over West Ham took them to the semi-finals. This will be very interesting because Leverkusen is the only club from the Bundesliga that is still progressing in the Europe League.

JEREMIE FRIMPONG really saved  Bayer Leverkussen to straight their continuity of the unbeaten record, he make this happened at 89 minutes, i still never up because of their consistency, so now congratulations to XABI ALONSO for this draw. Liverpool are eliminated, so now top three Premier league teams are all eliminated on all EUROPEAN COMPETITION.

To make a come back on three goals is not something possible for Liverpool because they don't know how to make proper use of their chances. They had a lot of chances today even Sallah missed a good chance.

It was since the last match that I knew that it is impossible for Liverpool as they find it difficult to score just one goal. Even in today's match, they also find it difficult to net the post apart for the PKwhich was taken by Sallah. Milan was the club that I thought will be able to have a come back in Rome, but it was not easy for them, since De Rossi understand the pattern he can use to overcome Milan out of his way.

That first leg 3-0 Liverpool allowed was their greatest undoing, tonight's game was way more impressive than the first leg, however Atlanta had already done the damage, so no matter how Liverpool tried to have the comeback into the game and beat Atlanta 3-0 to make it 3-3 aggregate all came out abortive because Atlanta at one end were very defensive and they had to make sure Liverpool didn't go above that one goal. I feel sorry for Jürgen klopp because it's as if everything is crumbling on him, his team has been knocked out of the FA cup, Same thing in the Europa and in the premiership they are tactically of balance in the title race.

West Ham and Liverpool are two other clubs from Premier League have to end their season in Europe. This result means that Premier League will be given only four spots for a next season in Champions League. Two leagues with five spots for each in Champions League will be Serie A and Bundesliga.

Leverkusen again avoided a defeat and their unbeaten record is continuing. They will meet Roma in semi finals and they will repeat their semi final meetings last season.

Marseille and Benfica will have to play extra half to find a winner which will play with Atalanta in another semi final pair.

Results of Europa League quarter finals means that Serie A will have an opportunity to have a final match between two clubs from Italy, AS Roma and Atalanta.

It is interesting as in Champions League, Bundesliga have chance to see a final match between Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
