Since he joined Roma last summer, Romelu Lukaku without doubt have been very impressive for his new club and that has raised many suggestions from the media on wether he'll stay at the club beyond the current season or not but as someone who's been closely following the development of Romelu Lukaku's stay at AS Roma, I think the Belgium international isn't gonna stay at the club beyond the end of the current season.
Age wise, Romelu Lukaku has joined the league of football veterans and I don't expect him to play for any other European club when his current loan contract with AS Roma expires at the end of the current season rather, I think he's gonna move to the Saudi Arabian League next season.
Pochettino, with all his ambition, failed to see the potential in Lukaku, how could he allow an experienced striker to be loaned to another club, and instead he relied on young players who had minimal playing time. His harmonious relationship with Mourinho has seen him come to Roma, after Chelsea did not include him in his plans for this season, and Lukaku did not reach an agreement with Inter Milan and Juventus.
It is proven that Lukaku presence at Roma has helped the club become more aggressive, even though they have now parted ways with the veteran coach from Portugal. De Rossi should be able to ask Roma officials to recruit Lukaku permanently from Chelsea, Lukaku can still be relied on on the front lines and help Roma for the next season or two.
However, if an offer from the SPL comes in, it will be very difficult for any team to refuse it. We know the offer they have put forward is fantastic, and Roma will be hard pressed to compete with them in their pursuit of Lukaku signature. It is possible that he will move to the SPL, and also if Pochettino is fired he might return to Chelsea.
