These are the results of all the European League playoffs last night and I'm annoyed because I forgot not to bet anything on this match. Most of the teams managed to score goals against each other and if you bet on the BTTS (yes) option it will certainly be an easy bet without waiting for the match results to finish. But there were two matches that couldn't do that, where Milan won 3-0 against Rennes and also the goalless draw from Lens' match against Freiburg.

However, there was one match that stole my attention where Galatasaray won dramatically against Sparta Prague with a score of 3-2 and Mauro Iccardi became the hero of Galatasaray's victory with the goal he scored in injury time. The two teams also competed with the same 10 people because each player received a red card. Oh , for sure! Milan has become a favorite to actually win it all and it will be amazing for them to actually win it. Also , I can't remember last team an Italian team won Europa League right ? It's been more than a decade I think and Milan is in pole-position to take the trophy back home.

My second guess for winner would be Benfica even if they barely won last night and had to take 2 penalties in order to do so but overall , they played great and have a team that could reach finals.

This is actually not a surprising result of the match

Milan had domination during the match, not only in ball possession but also in other cases. During the match, Milan was so calmly attacking. Well, they may not be too offensive in the first half. But it is quite different in the second half where Milan did more attacks and possession. That is why Rennes seems not having nay chance to get closer into Milan defense. Not a difficult task for Milan to secure the next round. Milan won the home match by a big margin of 3-0. If Milan plays a defensive strategy in the away match, they can confirm the next round only if they draw. On the other hand, Rennes is not a strong team. I don't see the possibility of Rennes beating Milan 4-0 at home.

Roma performed well against weaker teams after the coach change. But Roma's performance against the big teams is quite poor. Roma lost 4-2 against Inter Milan in their last Serie A match. The Europa League is Roma's main target. We haven't seen a good performance from Roma in Europa League matches either. And I'd say Roma won't qualify for the next round if the performance doesn't improve. It cannot be said that Roma are too strong in home matches.

I think Milan are the main contenders to play in the final this season. Rennes were unlucky to meet Milan after the group stage. I guess a win like that wouldn't surprise anyone. I guess we can still consider Bayer and Liverpool as the main opponents for Milan. For me, these three clubs are the strongest among the rest.

With a score that is quite striking in the first leg this time, I also feel that they can be considered lplos because it will definitely be very difficult for Rennes to force 3 goals in the second leg even though they play home.

AC Milan have quality of Champions League and they were just lack of luckiness to stay in Champions League. Beating Rennes with big won result like this actually shows off AC Milan strength. It is very unlikely that Rennes can make a big shock ina second leg match to win over AC Milan in an aggregated result.

AC Milan only need to play carefully in a next match to win in general as I believe they do remember a shock from Deportivo La Coruna many seasons ago in Champions League or a final match in Istanbul against Liverpool.

It is a draw and a very tiny advantage for Roma. They must beat Feyenoord at home to move next, a draw at Olimpico will not be enough for Roma. With home advantage, they can have massive support from their fans and have extra strength to beat Feyenoord that are surely not easy to be beaten.
