Maybe I am not that much updated with the new format but I guess most of you have noticed too that Europa League preliminary rounds are very few games and the UEFA Conference League is having a huge number of games in these preliminary rounds.Nothing against the format it is just that it made me curious,is Europa League now all of a sudden a more important competition than it was a few years ago when Conference League did not exist at all. Also I noticed that the ranking of many well known major leagues and lower leagues now says that most of the teams are playing in Conference League, teams that come up in the standings, did UEFA messed up or what?

Although nothing against the format honestly I prefer the old one where in Europa League we saw a lot of games in these preliminary rounds.

Actually, every format that is implemented will still have its pros and cons. There is no fair and perfect match system except for the domestic league where each team will compete with each other and the winner is the one who deserves to get the most points. But even the domestic league also has problems if there is one team that is very dominant then the league will become a farmer's league. The new UCL format will give us a new experience in watching every match in the UCL. Each team will use new strategies and player rotation becomes very important here. I think squad depth will be an important factor next season. And I ask if this will be detrimental to teams that do not have good squad depth?
I am sure that it is not going to end up working on the very first season, we are not going to see every team have a great situation from the very first season, but I am sure that eventually after a few years, teams will realize that having a deep rotation will make them a lot better. This is why I think it is going to be a lot greater, it will make it a bit bigger and better.

We should consider how we could make it work some other way, and we could probably consider the situation to be possibly better for any team that has a good youth setup as well. Because any team that has a deep and successful youth team could play them at least at the cup games, and maybe a few good ones at the league games as well, making everyone rest during the season.

Have bad news for Manchester United after several their player absent until several weeks later due pre season injured. Seems big problem for Erik ten Hag keep focus in domestic league or must improve their performance in Europe League until reach the final round.
The pre-season tour did not go perfectly for Manchester United, Ten Hag had to swallow a bitter pill after four of his players were injured, Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Leny Yoro and Antony. The injuries suffered by the four players will make it difficult for Ten Hag to formulate his strategy because they are his mainstay players in the main team. Manchester United dream of winning the UEL Trophy will be difficult to achieve if these players cannot return to the pitch at the right time. These players could relapse from their injuries if they are forced to play too much, a big dilemma is surrounding Ten Hag because if he fails to deliver a title for Manchester United, then his position will be threatened and the worst possibility is that he will be replaced in the middle of the season.

The injuries that plagued Man United last season, it seems will still haunt them. One of the goals of playing friendly matches is to prepare the players' fitness but unfortunately Man United had to lose 2 of their main players due to injuries in that match. A misfortune that seems to deserve serious attention because if they are underestimated it could become another obstacle for them.
Honestly what happened to Manchester United last season it can still repeat himself this season, which will even worse them last, because those 2 players that want to injury now are among of the talent players in Manchester United and when it comes that they cannot participate in this coming league, that means team will know going function anymore because the remaining players will not bring any positive changes to the team.
Is it that Manchester united will continue in their poor form again next season due to injury because I don't know why this will happen when the season have not started. It means that Yoro will not start adding value to the team performance with the amount that they used in buying him.

A lot needs to be done in United to make sure that players are always on ground to replace an injured player and not just any player but a good player. It is a bad start for united with all the money that they have used to put things in order for great achievement next season.

This season seems to be a proving ground for Ten Hag, therefore I am quite sure that Ten Hag will not let go of these two opportunities. So until one of those opportunities is completely gone, I think Man United will exert every effort in the Premier League and also in the European League.

It could be detrimental to teams that do not have good squad depth next season, but I think that is also not the only specific benchmark that we can see in any team because when there are players who are injured and cannot play, of course the team that previously did not have good squad depth can also become a strong team so that the match will still be more interesting to watch. I am not so worried about the new format in UCL and UEL next season because the team coaches must have prepared the necessary things at this time before the season starts.

At the end of the season, any team that makes up for their deficiencies can perform well in subsequent seasons. When special teams players are injured, they are given opportunities and spare players are used, and if the spares perform well, the team is led by them. is  But the change of coach is most important, because every coach manages the team well in new conditions. Preparation is of the utmost importance to perform at your best in the UEL league.

In terms of dealing with the new format that will be implemented in the Champions League and Europa League next season, of course all teams will try to keep their key players free from injury and rotate players when it is needed because the new format will make all players get tired faster because of the important games being so close together that they might not get enough rest. And since there is no more group system in the Champions League and Europa League next season, of course it will be very interesting for the spectators but it might not be so interesting for the players who will be draining more of their energy on the pitch.

Every team strengthens their assets because if they perform well during the seasons, all the stakes will be higher for them. Because gamblers will bet on a team then bet based on that team's squad. Every bettor places bets with the aim of winning so it is uncertain which team will perform well at any given time. However, the stakes are high based on the team's squad, which is why every team is more aware of player injuries and tries hard to bring in new players to strengthen the squad.

What do you say? Would you prefer this? Panathinaikos and Ajax both won the first legs by only one goal. I feel like both of them would like to consolidate their win to advance. This is why I think both of them would win. When it comes to Cercle Brugge, the first leg ended by 1-1. Normally they are the stronger side in the matchup. I don't think Kilmarnock will be able to hold them off this time. I expect a win in regular time.

I hope I don't regret not to bet on it.  Tongue

Assuming you went with your bet you would had won as Panathinaikos won with 4 goals and Botev couldn't score any, Ajax also won with 3 goals as Vojvodina could only get 1 goal. Cercle Brugge also won with 1 goal. You got every prediction correctly but why didn't you bet. Maybe you should predict the next games and we'll see if we can follow your prediction and make some money too. I see some gamblers avoiding this qualification matches as they think the teams are very unpredictable but I love betting on them but was out of cash and had my eyes on the champion league qualifiers and won some games although I did lost one but it was fun betting.

Yeah most of the Europa league qualification matches yesterday played according to the odds of the bookmakers, perhaps gamblers who follows the teams with the lower odds will certainly win some money, however for the fact that @Velvet78 made right predictions that played accordingly doesn't mean he will be lucky all the time so in case you are asking for more predictions from him you should bear it in mind that it may play according to prediction or not so that you won't feel bad in a case of a loss bet but i don't pray for such anyway.

Qualification matches can be very confusing that's why a lot of gamblers do avoid staking a bet on them but regardless, a bet that will win will win no matter the kind of competition that is involved, the reason why most gamblers gets confused in qualification matches is due to the idea of making a lot of accumulations but if it is just within two to three accumulations then the possibility of making accurate predictions will be there.

The old format is good and it is been very good way to determine champions even though the draw do favor some teams.
This new format will be good and any team that emerge to be the winner of either the UEFA Champions League, Europa League or conference league would have followed big strategy that will make them to worth the championship. I think squad depth will actually say a lot in the entire process, but luck will still work on some teams and experience will actually tell a lot in the process. The next season’s Champions League and Europa League will be interesting to watch.

Silkeborg IF 3 - 2 Molde FK

In the first leg, Molde played at home and won, they did very well to the point of scoring 3 goals and conceding only 1 goal, so I thought that in this second leg, despite them playing away from home, they could at least get a draw, something that in my opinion was not an impossible mission, but after just 3 minutes Molde committed a penalty, I thought what the hell are these guys doing? Committing a penalty in the 3rd minute? I was already starting to get worried because I made a multibet bet and put them on my multibet bet

Thanks to the penalty, Silkeborg scored a goal, after 20 minutes Molde scored an equalizer and left me calm and the 1st half ended. When the second half started, Silkeborg scored the second goal in the first few minutes, I was worried again, but in the 80th minute the Silkeborg player received a red card and in the 81st minute Molde scored the equalizer, this made me very calm, because the game was tied and Silkeborg had only 10 players and I assumed that they would not risk attacking with only 10 players, but to my shock in the 88th minute Silkeborg scored the third goal and they won the game.

I never believe in the results of matches where the goal is scored in the last 10 minutes, look at how Silkeborg scored their goal in the 88th minute. You almost got your win in this match but everything was lost because Younes Bakiz scored the last goal for Silkeborg. Molde played carefree, so losing by 1 goal at Mascot Park was not a problem for them. Next they will face Brugge in the continued UEL qualifiers. My advice, next time you should pay attention to the team's position first before betting, so you can find out whether the team playing will be serious or not.

This is the first season we see a different format, of course we are still wondering if this new format will work as expected (more interesting than before) or at least there is no decrease in competitive level. The Champions League is the competition we have been waiting for, besides the Champions League of course the Europa League is in second place in this European competition. Now the teams have started to play qualifying matches to qualify for the Europa League, as well as in the Champions League some teams are still playing several matches to compete for the remaining tickets to go to the Champions League. Some matches look interesting, because they must be trying hard to be in the biggest competition in Europe.

I like the way t is done this season so that those teams who are playing in Champions League will know that there is no hope for them if they did not qualify in the group stage to play in Europa and that will make most of them to be very serious this season because when you are out from the group stage, you go back home hopeless.

The two competitions are balanced and there is no cheat so that in whatever competition that you are, you should take it very serious and like you said it will open room for new teams to surprise the world in both competitions.
Yes and this new format seems to be more popular because they can see more team with more games and there are some great opportunities for some teams that may have never been in the Europa League or UCL before.
And with this new format it can indeed provide an opportunity for all team to perform at their best and that is done because there is no second chance to compete in the Europa League when they are eliminated from the UCL, everything has been well prepared and this is more realistic policy.
Previously these two most important competitions only showed the surviving teams were those who dominated the most in each season, but now not because there will be several matches as determinant and it can be assessed based on the points obtained by each team.

Today several matches for the qualifying round have taken place and finished, there are some really amazing team and that is Braga and also Rapid Vienna.
Braga managed to finish two matches with an aggregate advantage of 7 without single reply from Petah Tikva and Rapid Vienna managed to get an aggregate advantage of 8 with Wisla who were able to have 2 points on aggregate.
But unfortunately I did not include Rapid Vienna in the favorites.

Tomorrow will start again the second leg of the Europa League qualifying match I think this is not an easy choice to determine the betting choice because there are many clubs that I do not know in this competition but I will try to predict according to my knowledge.
Elfsborg vs Sheriff previously Elfsborg had won the first leg with a narrow score and I think he has a great chance to win again in the second leg because he is playing at home btw I only choose a few clubs to include in my parlay bet hopefully my prediction is correct and lucky this time.

I am not familiar with some of the teams here and the only ones I know are Sheriff Tiraspol, Molde, Ajax and Panathinaikos. With my knowledge betting on those four teams should be quite profitable and I might take a few steps before deciding.

If you look at your bets, actually everything is very fitting but I want to ask why you did not choose Sheriff Tiraspol and instead chose Elfborg? Is it because Elfborg is the host so you make an assessment from that side?

Also for the Molde vs Silkeborg match or Botev vs Panathinaikos you are looking for a safe option with small odds and I think that is okay because I would make the same decision if I were in your position. For Ajax vs Vojvodina I don't think we need to question this because it is certain that Ajax will win easily.
I did not choose Sheriff because in the first leg the club was defeated by Elfsborg with a score of 0:1 so i think in the second leg Elfsborg will be easier to beat Sheriff  because he played at home I did not see Sheriff playing well in this match even though I actually know this club better than Elfsborg and it is true as I said if Elfsborg beat Sheriff again with a score of 2:0.

My bet this time was right according to my prediction I was a little doubtful about Ajax because he played away it could be a draw but Ajax could still qualify but it turned out Ajax won the match with a greater number of goals than before when playing at home.

The UCL League and Europa League next season will indeed be very interesting, especially with the new format, of course this will be a burden for all teams because the schedule is too busy so that it requires smart coaches to rotate players. With the new format like now, it is the same as torture for players because they have to play in the domestic league, plus the Champions League or Europe with a domestic league model without a group phase, if the coach is not smart in rotating players, then the team players will experience a storm of injuries.
I think all coaches will find a way to create a new strategy in dealing with the new format next season so that their players do not get tired easily and are not easily injured due to the density of matches in a fairly close time. And yes, any coach must be smart enough in managing and rotating each of their players so that the team remains in better condition with mainstay players who do not easily lose their stamina due to this. But I also think that in implementing the new format, of course, it will not be easy for anyone because everyone is still not used to it.
While they will "try" to find a way, I am not sure if all of them will be able to do it or not, it would not be all that simple. We are going to end up with something that will get a bit of time before we could see something changing. All in all, we are going to end up with all of the coaches trying to rest more players, with this many games they will have to push league a bit back, which could be a problem for most of the players.

I mean think about it, europa teams are not really that good at the league most of the time, unless they are like Leverkusen last year, which means that if they also not show that much success at the league so if they also start not caring about the league to rest the players they will lose even more games and rank even worse at standings.

So all of this is a bit of a trouble for most of these teams, they are going to have a lot more trouble and because of that I think most of the teams will decide not to care about this league at all. We are going to end up with something a little worse, it's going to end up with a bit of a problem. I think it's going to be tough, but we could still make that work one way or another if they get a high depth squad.

However, both teams will not participate in the Europa League because Leverkusen got a quota to play in the Champions League after finishing first in the domestic league, while Atalanta qualified for the Champions League through a special route after winning the Europa League. This season there will be a champion in the Europa League because of the new system in the Champions League, Manchester United who are improving the quality of their squad will target this trophy, Ten Hag will also try to take advantage of the opportunity given by Manchester United management to prove his ability to handle MU.
Regarding the UEFA Europe League teams participants in this season, Manchester United had afvantage after many top teams who participants next season are qualified to Champion League from Bayern Leverkusen and Atalanta. Its only for group phase round behind new format of Champion League still have eliminated teams will get playoff for getting 16 of round against the Europe League teams finish as runner up position standing group.

Have bad news for Manchester United after several their player absent until several weeks later due pre season injured. Seems big problem for Erik ten Hag keep focus in domestic league or must improve their performance in Europe League until reach the final round.

The new format will benefit teams with good squad depth. They will be able to rotate players for each match. This looks good for the big teams. But I think on the other hand this new format will not harm the underdogs because usually the top teams have a tighter schedule than the underdogs. I don't know if my opinion is right or not (cmiiw). This is a new format that was first implemented in European competitions. Honestly, I still miss the old format which I think is very interesting but we can't stay in the past. I hope this new format can make every match interesting to watch.
Looking at the teams who qualified for the Europa this season, interestingly, not many of them have got an awesome or very brilliant depth, but at least they are at almost same ranges with slight differences above each other. The Old format isn't gone long enough to miss already but then we are expectant of a good and smooth working for the new format, as for the underdogs, it's going to be a new way of engagement for them as they aren't engaged this much before now except in their domestic leagues.
For now, I have not been able to say that they have a good squad and are also evenly distributed or not, the article I have not seen what their strengths are like because the season hasn't started and is now only a qualification match. I personally need a longer time to say what differences in strength are like, because I have to base on their appearance first.
I could have seen from the composition of the players they have, but in my experience it is not effective because usually the player can also go up and down in performance and I don't know whether the player is in good or vice versa, so I have to look first at The start of the season, at least 3 or 5 matches. After that I can conclude which teams have a high percentage, yes even though it is also not a guarantee that the team will be able to play well, because sometimes the visit also speaks in football.
