Two seasons ago the competition was less as compared to now and the form of the teams in the Europa this season isn't such that you can confidently think Roma will be able to handle well enough to win even with Mourinho as their coach, regardless of the fact that he has done it before with the same team but I don't see it possible this time.

Although I'm not trying to exercise certainty on Roma not been a good candidate for the league title this season but I just think with their present squad on ground they will really have to struggle, Romeo lukaku is trying to help the team achieve a lot but he alone can't get the whole job done just like that ASC Milan, Leverkusen and libero stands a better chance this season but then I'm sure AS Roma can possibly make it to the quarter finals but then if they are able to get to the semi finals then their potentials of winning becomes even bigger because they have got good experience in the Europa league.

They are challengers and we can't underestimate them, you are right AS Roma won the title 2 seasons ago, not last season. You are right about the strongest candidates being Liverpool and Leverkusen, but even so I am not underestimating the 2 clubs we are talking about here, because they also have a chance of getting the title. As long as the season isn't over and the matches haven't been played, then anyone still has a chance. The only difference is who is more likely based on their current form.

2 clubs that have caught our attention now in the Europa League, especially Leverkusen who have managed to show great performance here as well as in the domestic league. Roma are a good side. Their manager Mourinho has some kind of special ability to raise up a team into a pretty much successful squad. Even with the loopholes they're faced with, he's still been able to help the team stand out in some games. Injury has definitely been a number one deprivation of a team's performance but the manager has been able to make do with the players and squad he's got available and even though not perfect as expected, they're not relenting in their efforts.

The European competition would definitely favour them, they only need to strive to win a ticket. Good thing also that their striker is at his peak performance and he's always capable of delivering the team to victory in dire moments. I'd admit that the team and manager are very much compatible maybe it's the resonance that's natural or maybe Mourinho's great coaching ability at work but at the moment, the situation in the team is in safe hands and patiently and gently, they'd stride to the spots they want to be. Milan are also a good side that'd only need to put in extra efforts to games to create positive differences.

Roma was better last season than they are this season. I don't see them winning anything this season, even with Mourinho. I know having Mourinho is a big factor that can help a team win trophies but this time around, Roma is not convincing in any way at all.

You can't call Roma against Feyernoord underdogs. Feyernoord is plays better as in better form but they're both on the same level. I believe it's a 50/50 match, but Feyernoord has the upper hand. Roma is not going to be easy for the biggest teams in Europe, not to talk of Feyernoord. Mourinho is an experienced coach and knows how to win these type of games, but I doubt he will win this one though.

Considering how some of the games went for Feyenoord in the Champions League group stage, there is absolutely no reason for Feyenoord to hide from Roma. Feyenoord was able to beat Lazio 3-1 at home and they were close to beating Atletico Madrid in Spain. That was an impressive game by Feyenoord as they dominated Atletico Madrid in their own stadium. I know that Lazio isn't that good at the moment either, but I think they are a good reference point to see what the chances are for Feyenoord against Roma.

Mourinho has always been labeled as this coach who knows how to win titles and yes that was true for quite some time. But I think he isn't as good as he used to be.

As Roma won the Europa Conference League not last season but 2 seasons ago, last season the champion was Westham United meeting Fiorentina in the final.
