Liverpool will definitely fight hard in this European league. They are usually in the UCL and this season is different. They definitely want to go back there next season somehow. At least in the European League, they can win the title. But once again, sometimes plans don't run so smoothly and smoothly. Luckily in the EPL itself, Liverpool has been able to enter second place, so this is a very good position to continue to maintain, so that they can also return to the UCL if Liverpool fails to hold the European League trophy.
Yeah they are really putting all possible best to win one trophy this season, they have been trying on this Europa League by wining majorities of there matches but although watching Liverpool matches very well you will see a lot of changes in performance unlike before they don't joke with wining but checking there overall statistics this season they have lose many of there matches and even considering the clubs that won them, is not supposed to win Liverpool if there in there good shape.

But however they have manage to maintain there first position on there groupe table followed by Toulouse with some points different.
Liverpool and Klopp currently the best combination with their main focus is still Premier League even they are having good edge here as in early matches they have done good work and currently leading their group next game is against LASK which is at the bottom and win at home can keep Liverpool at the top after this next game is against Royale Union in Belgium which is also not difficult with this all most chances Toulouse will be at second.

Winning cup is target for the Liverpool with chances are high they could be in Champions League in next season with their performance into Premier League but winning here could be best for them and their confidence which was down due to last worst season, but we know they are best in business and have good ability to fight back at any level.

I agree they're Europa League favorites. Coaching by Klopp and Xabi Alonso makes the difference. Both have led successful teams. Liverpool may have an advantage due of their strong team and winning attitude. The real excitement may come in the round of 16, especially if Sevilla, a Europa League veteran, drops in from the Champions League. Their admission would increase competition, making Liverpool and Leverkusen's road harder. Im watching these two, but Im also intrigued how these seasoned Champions League teams will change the dynamics.
It is very realistic to place Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen as favorites to win the Europa League this season, the consistent performances shown by these two teams have put them in leading positions in the title race. Maybe there will be several strong clubs eliminated in the UCL, but Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen really deserve to be in the final.

Talking about Sevilla, who have won the most Europa League trophies, their chances of finishing in third place in the UCL are very small, they were only able to collect two points from four matches, while Lens, who are one place above, have collected five points. This season there will be a new champion in the Europa League, as is being discussed, perhaps Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen could become champions this time.

Liverpool is one of the big teams we have in the Premier league and not participating in the Champions League this season is not a good one for them because the Champions league is a game Liverpool fancy so much. Liverpool have no choice than to work well in their performance to get qualify for champions through Premier league or Europa league.  Liverpool is the favourite for the Europa League championship if they are really determined to get title for the season.

Not participating in the Champions League was their fault, they flopped last season and everybody knew that. Jurgen Klopp has brought in players to fill the areas they lacked last season and they're progressing very well as it stands both in the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League Competition.
Even if they're currently absent in the Champions League, they remain the finest Premier League club in the major European Competitions.

They're no favorites for that Competition fully, they'll still face more challenging test and clubs who will definitely drop down from the Champions League group stages. Finally, they've been impressive and going hard especially at home.

That can turn out to be an issue when they are lacking depth in the squad, but that is the same for almost any team. I don't know many teams in the Europa League that have a squad with enough depth to cope with several injuries. But Bayer Leverkusen does have experience with injured players as far as I know because they were affected by that in the past and right now they are in great shape because all players are available. Hopefully it stays like that because they are playing some great football these days.
Yes, it is very possible to happen. We can see now that many teams in EPL and La Liga are experiencing injury problems with many players. Specifically for the teams which join some competitions both international and local competitions. They must have a good squad depth, it will be very helpful if there are some main players injured for a long time. Leverkusen are joining both international and local competitions. There will be a bigger chance that the players will experience injured problem. Moreover, if there are some players who are the main players in their national team.

A club performs well in terms of players, if some of the important players of that club get injured then the performance of the club will definitely be bad. Top teams that have top teams when their players are injury free perform great for their club which makes the club perform very well but if several key players are out of the team due to injury then the team will be like a normal team. Leverkusen has been performing well in the Bundesliga since the start of the season and the Europa League as well, but if this team has an injury problem and if that problem lasts for a long time, then this team will definitely lose their best performance. A player sitting on the bench will never perform as well as a player in the regular XI.

The depth can be decisive. If one team loses their top scorer and they can still replace that player with a good enough alternative, it is quite different from a team that can't. But we are still talking about professional football on an international level and every team should be able to come up with a competitive solution to still retain their chance to win a game against a superior team if they go all out with all their heart. There are these talents like Mbappe or Messi and those players can never be replaced, but a lot can be done when the team has great and strong cohesion and works as a unit.
Loosing top scorer in a team is always really tough on team on them because their results will be affected and sometimes how well they perform especially when they meet bigger teams is really affected aswell, so getting a good replacement is something they fight to do almost immediately so they don't get to suffer the after effects long enough after the player is gone.

Players like Messi and nema when they both lest PSG at same time it almost caused them a lot of time to get back on their feet, they were lucky enough to still have mbappe around to keep them going until they were able to get suitable replacement but then it still wasn't like when the trio was still there's, same was also seen with Manchester united if which they still suffer till today, the exit of their goal keep with a replacement that doesn't look better and Ronald, the list goes on.

If several players of that calibre miss games, it is impossible for any team to compensate for that, but the biggest problem is that you can never have two top stars for the same position unless some of the starts can play several positions and you can vary positions between them. This makes some players extremely valuable, but that doesn't only apply to strikers, but also to players who can play several positions in the midfield and defense interchangeably.

Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are two teams that should be taken into account in the hunt for the Europa League championship trophy this season. Both clubs have complete squads and attributes to lead the list of favorite teams to win, and have coaches who have clear tactics. If the two teams met earlier, then the match would be one of the most anticipated matches by many people, like an ideal final.

Apart from Liverpool and Leverkusen, other teams that will join the Europa League from the Champions League also have the opportunity to become title contenders. Sevilla, Man united and Milan are the teams that I hope will join here, and they will be a threat to the teams that are already in the Europa League at the moment. although actually I understand that the three clubs are experiencing difficulties in their respective groups each.

Theoretically this is true, but technically not necessarily. It would be very natural if in fact these two teams were predicted to be the favorite teams in the European League group phase. after all, as we all know. both in terms of coach, ranking, performance, both meet the requirements to become a candidate. but, as I said in the post above. Last season, this competition was more interesting with several strong teams taking part in this competition. but in the end, Sevilla was the champion.

Well, this season also applies. We cannot be sure before the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches. Moreover, if the Champions League group phase is over and several teams slip up, they will take part in this competition even though they have to go through the playoffs to enter the round of 16. What is certain is that this league still offers long matches. Also, it might provide other surprises that we don't know for sure yet.
However, speaking of Leverkusen and Liverpool, these two teams can be said to be the favorite teams throughout this group stage match. and, if it's like what you say. If the two teams met sooner, it should be a match worth watching and it should be an exclusive match like a final match and we agree on that.

Rennes' performance is in contrast to the domestic league because they appear more consistent in the European league and are at the top of Group F with 9 points. Even though the group is filled with other good teams such as Villarreal and Panathinaikos, they still performed quite well by securing 3 wins from 4 matches.

Now Rennes is not completely safe because they still need at least one more win to ensure their progress to the next round and they are lucky enough to face Maccabi Haifa who are performing poorly at the bottom of group F with only collecting 1 point from 3 matches. This will be an absolute victory for Rennes and they can continue their journey in the European league and I hope this good performance will also bring positive results in the domestic league later.

Looking at the teams that are in this group, I see that they are very weakened teams, the Greek league has not produced teams that have a strong enough squad to reach very high in European competitions, that's why I'm not surprised by the poor performance. from panathinaikos in the european league, see that they are at the top of the table in the greek league, but they do not have a squad of the same or almost the same level as the teams in the big leagues in europe. Another great team is Maccabi Haifa, which is an Israeli team, in the Israeli league they are in position number 6, in other words, in addition to the Israeli league not having the same level as the French league, Maccabi are also doing very well. bad in your inner league

making them an easy target in this group for a strong team to beat them and gain 3 points. Lastly we have Villareal who despite being one of the teams that play in a good league like La Liga and in the past they were a good team, today they are going through bad times, they currently occupy position number 14 in the league, they are coming from bad times. results in the last games, clearly they are poor this season. which means that in this group they found very weak teams and that they are in the same bad condition as them when compared to the performance of each team in this group in their local leagues, so for me, this is a group that will go to the team that is luckier , because all the teams in that group are terrible

It is very true that injuries experienced by key players can cause decline in performance which can even be quite significant and so far there have been quite lot of strong teams who have lost core players due to injury and then they experience decline in the quality of in playing, what is even worse is that this decline causes several defeats.
Even so, there are still one or two teams that are not too affected by the presence of injured players, but teams like this are usually teams with players who are all said to be great players and they have truly become perfect squad.
When an injury occurs to core player, there are still other players who can provide stability and there are also reserve players who can at least have equally good playing qualities.
Like Real Madrid, they experienced conditions like this but the decline in performance was not that significant.

Moreover, Leverkusen will only play against Hacken which is the team in the bottom position in group H and in four matches they have not won single win, I still believe that Leverkusen is able to win this match despite the shortcomings they are currently experiencing.
Injuries causes decline in performance not just top players and it takes time before the player gets back to his full form; it takes generally hardwork and consistency, what will be worse if the decline in performance causes defeat of the team and it’s occurred in several teams, I feel alot of several big time would decline in performance based of this injury issues.

When you see team that’s not affected by injured players, then you should know the team has some quality players in key positions of the team. Squad depth comes into play e.g when there’s an injury there’s a player to cover up and it looks as if there’s no injury at all. We can see that in teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Leverkusen will come out top of the match and grab all 3 points.

We don't yet know for sure whether the team's performance will decline if several of the brand's main players are injured because it could be that there will be a cover that can cover if player rotation occurs in order to maintain the team's performance, because the team should be able to do that.
So far, Bayer Leverkusen is still quite strong and consistent, regarding bad incidents (injuries) to players in the future is something that cannot be predicted, but if we look at almost all lines, they have players who have even quality so it is possible for them to maintain performance.
But what often happens is that when a key player is injured, the team begins to see a decline, even though it is not too deep, but often when facing an important match, they actually experience defeat or results they don't expect, even a team as great as Manchester City experienced this when Kevin DeBruyne was injured despite the intelligence of their coach succeeded in closing the gap left by KDB with the right players so that City could recover, but if there is quite a difference between the reserve players then slowly teams that face injured players and also have to play in several competitions will end up sacrificing other competitions and focusing only with just one competition.
We have to see Bayer Leverkusen play several matches to be able to judge that their players' injuries do not affect the team's performance. If they start to lose then it is evident that the player's injuries are disturbing the team, but because they are safe in the European league and the team they are facing can be said to be below their quality compared to them, the remaining two matches would not be a problem if the result was only a draw, because Bayer Leverkusen has confirmed that they have passed the group phase.

The Europa League group stage this time is becoming more interesting, because so far from the 4 matches they have played, I have not seen a club that can really ensure that it will qualify for the next round. Leverkusen so far is the only club that is quite successful with perfect points from the 4 matches they played, they only need 1 more point to ensure they will really be able to qualify.
Other than that, we have a Champions League club coming to play in the playoffs for a place in the last 16, I don't have any idea which club is going here yet.

I personally no hesitation in saying that the teams that are currently in positions 1 and 2 in each group in the Europa League right now, almost all of them can be guaranteed to qualify for the next round. Maybe only a few can still be replaced by the team in position 3, but it seems like the chances for them or the team in position 3 are not that good chances either. Because anyway, at this moment theteams in 1st and 2nd positions have quite a good gap in points with the teams in positions 3 and 4. Also, eventhough some of teams in 1st and 2nd positions in fact is some of them have the same points but still, they will still qualify for the next round. So ya, I would say, the teams that are currently in 1st and 2nd positions in all the Europa League groups at the moment, they have a good chance of qualifying for the next round and I'm sure of that.
It may seem that way, but what I'm refering to here are the clubs that have confirmed themselves to be in the last 16. We all know that the only club that can certainly qualify from this group stage is the group winner, while the runnerup position they still have to play a play off match to be in the last 16, they also still have to wait for who finished 3rd in the Champions League group stage. This will be very difficult for them, because the opponents they will face from the Chmpions League are also opponents that they will not easily beat.

That can turn out to be an issue when they are lacking depth in the squad, but that is the same for almost any team. I don't know many teams in the Europa League that have a squad with enough depth to cope with several injuries. Good depth is a must-have for the club, because it was to prevent or anticipate things like the hurricane of injuries that came their way. But not all clubs can make that happen, because their finances are not good and so on. This is a job for a coach, because he is required to think round the brain to be able to anticipate this kind of thing.
But in my opinion this is also a joint job, don't let only the coach have to bear this kind of thing, management must participate in thinking of solutions to this problem.

Sometimes we can see abrupt endings from any good team, but for different reasons. For instance, if Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen play against each other in the quarterfinals, I fear we have to accept that one of them has to go and it doesn't really have to do with their performance. Maybe that is the preliminary final game of the competition so to speak. And then one team will lose and nobody will remember the reason why. It was because the two best teams met each other in the quarters.

That's why I hope that they can avoid to be against each other for as long as possible. Hopefully not before the semifinals. But with some luck in the drawings, I agree that Bayer Leverkusen will be around in the Europa League for a few more rounds at least.

And it is not certain that Liverpool and Leverkusen will advance all the way to the quarter-finals. as you said, sometimes we can see the sudden end of any good team. like last season, for example, two teams from the Premier League were predicted to be strong candidates. However, along the way, these two teams were defeated by mediocre teams. Sevilla's condition is a mess, not much different from this season. Leverkusen is no less the same, they are just as slumped in the red zone in domestic competition. Suddenly, these two teams changed coaches and started their journey with victory after victory until finally Leverkusen entered the quarter-finals and Sevilla became champions. a surprising result, even though the previously favorite teams were Manchester United, Arsenal and even Juventus even though their performance was a mess.

Unique right? and this is football, we won't know until the match progresses step by step until the final round. So, it is possible that either Liverpool or Leverkusen will slip up in the future match. although for now, their chance of becoming group champions is already theirs. The time comes in round 16, then the real fight will begin. So, let's just wait and enjoy everything that happens.

Bayer Leverkusen has a squad depth that is almost evenly distributed and Xabi Alonso does not just rely on one player but involves all the players to be able to give his best performance and show his talent at this club.
I admit that Xabi Alonso has good chemistry so he can build a solid partnership and in my opinion if Leverkusen can continue to perform consistently like this Xabi Alonso will be able to bring Leverkusen to win the domestic league and also the European league.
It's not easy for Xabi Alonso to maintain consistency klub, but I hope Xabi Alonso will not give up to be able to bring Leverkusen to victory amazing.

in the European League groups H phase, no one has been able to beat Bayer Leverkusen, just like Bayern Munich who have not been defeated in the Champions League Group A and I thinks the big candidates to win the title in the European League and in Champions League, are the Germany Bundesliga club, namely Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. It's too early to speculate, but at least I can see that German clubs are performing strongly in the Champions League and also in the European League.

So far I see Liverpool being one of the most talked about teams in the European league to become champions this season. But I think many teams still have the opportunity to become champions, even teams that don't have big names on their team could surprise many people if they appear consistent in the next round. Like last season, many of us thought Arsenal could easily win the European League but they were eliminated by a team that was not seeded in the previous season. Therefore, I think liverpool must always be consistent and must focus on their targets because the journey to winning the title is still quite long.

Leverkusen is quite interesting for us because they are one of the most consistent teams in the domestic league and also the European league. In fact, so far I think that Leverkusen is performing better compared to Liverpool. Atalanta and Real Betis have also performed impressively in their respective groups so far. For now, I still believe that Leverkusen still holds the best power by recording consecutive wins in every match.
I think the real battle in the Europa League will be when all teams enter the round of 16. The reason is in the Playoff match to qualify for the round of 16 in the Europa League there will be big teams eliminated from the Champions League. And for this season there is the possibility that big names such as Man United, Newcastle or Dortmund or even AC Milan or PSG will play in the Europa League Playoffs. This means Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen will have strong competitors in the race to win the Europa League.

You are right.  Although Leverkusen and Liverpool are the favorites for the Europa League title so far, several teams from the Champions League will also play in the Europa League. And teams like Manchester United, PSG or Newcastle have  the potential to play in the Europa  League. With these teams in the Europa League, it will not be an easy task for Liverpool and Leverkusen to win the title. If Newcastle  team qualify for the  Europa League, then this team will try their  best to win the  title. Because they have no chance of winning the Premier League title. In addition, the possibility  of staying in the top four of the Premier League is also less for Newcastle. So,  after winning the Europa  League title, Newcastle will be looking to qualify for the Champions League again.

I think that it's only a short term solution. There's no guarantee if the back up can have same performance as the main player. We can take acmilan's case as the best example for this problem. Acmilan has giroud which is always consistently scoring for the club unlike the secondary striker.
The secondary striker performs so badly and he was rarely contributing to the club. It's not about whether there is a player that can be used as a backup. It's about a backup that can have same performance compared with the main player.
Can we sure when haaland injured and the secondary player will able to play as good as him? I don't even think so. This is the most difficult task to find someone who can play as good as the main striker which was consistently scoring.
Th same thing is also happening in as roma. There's no guy who can play as good as lukaku as a striker in that club. So, when he gets injury and there's no one who can fill his position.
I meant the same performance as lukaku.
