So far so good, Liverpool has had a favourable season this season since the beginning of the season I have viewed Liverpool's performance to be likened to their performance in the 2021 season when the club was almost topping the third position before they lost some key players some due to injuries and others by transfers to other clubs, but all the same, Liverpool have shown a lot of positive signs in this season and there is no doubt that some similar clubs may stand as opposition to them but in the end, I believe Liverpool will end the current season on a good note.

It is too easy for Liverpool now. Because they have a group full of much weaker teams. Maybe they lost to Toulouse but Klopp did some significant rotation in that match as well. They were already comfortable at the first position so it was the right call there to tell the truth. But I'm pretty confident that they would secure the lead anyway.

After that it is going to be really crucial for them to manage a busier schedule in the best manner. This season they look like they are back to their usual performance. This could mean that we would see an effective level of performance from them not only here but also the EPL at the same time.

The beauty about European competitions is that it is a no brainer; Europa league does not care if you have a world class team, Europa league does not care if you are a consistent team; its a knock out competition where the winner takes it all. the winner doesn't have to be the better team. And this is why Sevilla and Villarreal have won the trophy alot in recent times because they excel at winning ugly.

The idea of saying "favorites" doesn't mean that they are guaranteed to win, it just means that they have the highest chance out of all teams. We can't just say that some smaller club have a higher chance, obviously Liverpool has the highest chance.

This doesn't mean that they have 100% chance to win, even if they have 20% chance to win, and others have less than 20% chance, that means Liverpool is the favorites to win, that's what the odds normally say too, in a league situation or a cup, if a team has 2.20 odds at the start of the season before anything starts, that means they have less than 50% chance to win, but they are still the favorites. We need to remember what that word means to get the full situation clearly.

Xabi's impact is real. Nothing surprise caused by xabi was able helping leverkusen to qualify for the europa league with only a half of season. Xabi is showing more consistently gained by his club. Leverkusen is having very solid performance in all of positions.
Xabi has been changing this club so much with all of his experience as footballers. No doubt if he will be targeting by big clubs. United can start to pursue him at this moment.

Manchester united really needs someone like him who can handle everything. Leverkusen was performing so badly last season but the came of xabi was changing the club a lot. I would like to see more of him soon.

They are in easy group but they couldn't win all the matches, right? In the last match, Liverpool was defeated by Toulouse.
I agree that Klopp needs to rotate their players, but make sure they rotate the players with almost the same quality. If they rotate the players with very low quality, they can get another defeat like the last match. They are quite safe because they already got 9 points but Klopp must be more careful if it is already in knock out round. One mistake can end their journey in Europa League this season.

I think not only Liverpool, Leverkusen is also the favorite team to win Europa League title this season.

Liverpool have a pretty easy group and this has been a big help for Klopp to do rotation in their lineup quite often as well. Maybe this led to their losing the Toulouse match too but still there is no problem for Liverpool. They are currently the biggest favourite for the Europa League title by far according to bookmakers as well which isn't surprising at all.

After this stage the matchups would probably get more challenging so Klopp would need to manage a tight schedule in an effective way. To be honest I believe that he will do this job successfully.
