Defeat in the Europa League final can also be valuable lesson that anything can happen easily, they can use incidents like this as reference for enthusiasm for next season when competing in the UCL.
Yes, their defeat in the Europa League final was a very valuable lesson for Leverkusen, especially Xabi. They can learn a lot from there to be able to make themselves even better when they face more difficult competition next season, namely in the Champoins League. Their defeat in the Europa League final was surprising, because anyone would definitely make Leverkusen the main favorite. But at the same time they had to suffer defeat and that was 3 goals without reply, something I have rarely or never seen during this season.
In the Champions League everything will be much more difficult than what they experienced in the Europa League. They must be ready for all of this, and they can make preparations as quickly as possible. Xabi must ensure that his team is fully ready to face the next season. He also has to ensure that his team's mental condition is in very good condition, because whether they like it or not, the pressure in the Champions League will be much heavier than what they are feeling now.

Bayern Leverkusen playing in the champions league will be a lot different thing for them because they haven’t been there for many many years ago. All the existing players of the team have no much experience of the champions league, so it will be a bigger challenge for them. They’ve proven how strong they are in the Bundesliga and also in the Europa league. Now the greater test awaits them in the champions league where the best teams in Europe plays in that competition and the competitive edge between the teams their are very high unlike where they’re coming from. If they resist the competitive nature and come out victorious, that is when we can now say that Bayern Leverkusen are up to the task also.
It's not just about the experience of a particular tournament, but also about the level of the opponents, as well as the form in which the team is. The Champions League will certainly be the most difficult test for the team and for Alonso, because one season can be completed on luck and courage, and you can earn recognition if the team can repeat the success again. And if we are talking about success, then the Bayer could not achieve it in the EL final, and Atalanta is not the strongest team, in the Champions League the opponents will be much more difficult.
However, all of these are obstacles and they will undergo competition that has never been done before, clearly this is difficult part for Leverkusen and Xabi and what needs to be done is to try to prepare for the best performance and start with more difficult competition.
Leverkusen experience cannot be said to be perfect because they still rarely meet strong team from various domestic leagues, but that also does not rule out the possibility that they can perform optimally and beat several big team in the UCL next season.
This season was also big surprise when they managed to reach the Europa League final, previously it was always difficult for Leverkusen to achieve this, but they proved that their performance this season was able to compete very well.
Defeat in the Europa League final can also be valuable lesson that anything can happen easily, they can use incidents like this as reference for enthusiasm for next season when competing in the UCL.

Why could something like that happen to Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final match, because Atalanta, who had also beaten a new team from England, also looked at their opponents quite carefully, especially since Bayer Leverkusen at that time was quite viral because they had never lost to any opponent. So this makes Atalanta's own spirit and pattern of play improve and become better because Atalanta can also get a sense of pride when they succeed in beating Leverkusen in the final match, which is an important match for both teams.
It was all about preparations, Atlanta was well prepared than it was expected of them, Leverkusen didn't look equally prepared as Atlanta was and it was now like an advantage for Atlanta to use and get ahead of Leverkusen because if Leverkusen was prepared well enough, they wouldn't have allowed all that happen to them not in a game as this that they needed the most to crown all their efforts for the season with a greater rewards.

This has served as a lesson for Leverkusen because they thinking it was going to be business as usual but then it turns out that they are now been defeated for the first time because they let their guard down thinking they will be able to still win even with such uninformed pattern.Atalanta having the opportunity for the first time in a very long while decided to make the best of it and it turns out in their favour.
I think both Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta were all well prepared for the UEFA Europa League competition but one thing I think was certain was that the Italian club was more determined and focused than their German opponents and that was why they won the final the expense of Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer Leverkusen having not lost a single game in all competitions before that final were very relaxed and probably convinced that they were surely going to win the game but unfortunately for them, the Italian team had another plan.
Whenever a team is playing in the final of such important competition, it's a not a god idea to underrate the strength of your opponents because I personally think Bayer Leverkusen underrated Atalanta because of Leverkusen's unbeaten run before the final but were met with an energetic team that fought till the final to make sure Leverkusen doesn't find the back of the net

Atalanta didn't win with luck rather it was proposed changed in game setting and thrashed Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final, therefore handling Leverkusen their first defeat of the season which was in total dismay for Bayer Leverkusen and their supporters. We could remember vividly how the club won the Bundesliga title without a record of defeats but did attain to draw points.

Although it is difficult to avoid defeat, unfortunately, their defeat occurred in the Europa League final and was also their only defeat in that season. Obviously, even though they can still force themselves to accept the results, but I think it is very clear that deep disappointment must have been felt and/or experienced by them. Because of course, it would be difficult for them to repeat the same great achievements during that season, being undefeated and having a big chance of getting the treble winner, but they failed. Although of course, that would be good to build experience but still, great moments like that will be very difficult to repeat.

Dortmund will play in the UCL next season. UEFA has created a new rule format. Among them is that the number of additional tickets that will be given to the league will be calculated based on the coefficient value of a team when playing in European competitions, such as the UCL, UEL and European Confederation Cup. This value shows that this season the Bundesliga has the best coefficient value so they get 5 tickets next season. Dortmund is in fifth place in the final standings and fortunately they can play in the UCL next season.

Dortmund are sure lucky to be able to participate in the champions league next season after finishing in fifth place on the Bundesliga table where in prior seasons they shouldn’t be participating in champions league but Europa League. I also saw that the format of the first group stage matches will be changed, I don’t know if it’ll start next season, but that format is going to be a banger as it’ll involve a more competitive match and the one with the highest points qualify irrespective of the group you’re in.

I also saw that Bayern Leverkusen were so confident with their unbeaten run that made them underrate Atalanta, and on the other hand after Atalanta have been faced with one defeat in the final already, it won’t make sense to see themselves not winning the second final when they still have the chance. It was really a very tactical game from them that gave them the win and not any kind of lucky chance. Bayern Leverkusen must have learnt from that, not all underdogs should be underrated.

For Xabi Alonso and Leverkusen, last season was amazing. Nobody can deny that. But the doubters, they're always gonna be there. They contend it was a fluke, pure luck. One loss? Unheard of! The thing is, though, guys. Winners are people I know. Xabi is a winner as well. He is driven to disprove everyone. Leverkusen is here to stay and they have something unique.

Champions League is tough, no question. But I believe Xabi. He possesses the nerves, the team, and the wits to pull it off once more. I guarantee they wont be a one-hit wonder.

Everyone knows how important Xabi's role was in turning Leverkusen's game into a very strong one. I think they are very ready for a competition as big as the Champions League. and they will be able to compete with other strong European teams.
they prepare better, I'm sure they won't end up like Napoli last season. where they won Serie A but then they had great difficulty competing with other teams both in Serie A and in the Champions League.
Alonso ability to build the team and also bring Leverkusen this season certainly makes us quite impressed, and even as a young coach and also a beginner Alonso was able to bring Leverkusen to their first trophy in 120 years, this season Alonso was able to bring a lot of changes to the Leverkusen squad and I think he has managed to create a squad depth that is quite capable to be able to compete next season, next season will certainly be a real test for Alonso to be able to maintain their performance even though most of their squad is only filled with academy players and also not star players.

We can't equate Napoli last season with Leverkusen this season, Napoli suffered a slump after the management had a bad relationship with Spalletti and finally fired him as coach, while the Leverkusen management did not have a change in their plans and also their trust with Alonso, so I think Alonso will still be able to handle his team freely without any pressure from the team management, In addition, frequent changes of coaches certainly make Napoli performance worse and of course it is much different from Leverkusen today.

I think Atlanta victory over Leverkusen was not a lucky one, but it was the result of hard work, careful preparation, and of course a champion mentality, besides that of course the strategy and also the game scheme they applied in the match was really effective in destroying Leverkusen game which was quite strong.

Both of them had the mentality of being champions in yesterday's UEL final, only Xabi Alonso had to admit that he lost tactically to Gasperini, so it would be natural for Atalanta to win a landslide win against Leverkusen, I think this is Leverkusen's first defeat this season and they suffered their first defeat. in the UEL final and it doesn't look bad either, they have maintained their consistency throughout the season so losing once and not winning the UEL isn't that bad in my opinion.

Xabi Alonso still has time to prepare his team for the match at the next level, namely the UCL next season, as well as Atalanta who will play in the UCL too, if there is a meeting between the two of course it will be an interesting match where Xabi Alonso can avenge his defeat in the UEL final yesterday. in the UCL match next season. Currently, Xabi Alonso has to admit Gasperini's ability to make his team Atalanta make Xabi Alonso's team barely move and score a goal back. it was great

Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli are of course very different because the teams are coached by different people so Xabi Alonso's role at Bayer Leverkusen cannot be compared to the role of other coaches in other teams. I also think that Bayer Leverkusen is very ready to undergo next season which is full of even greater competition than this season because Bayer Leverkusen fans also really want to see the team they support again be able to win again in the Bundesliga and be able to go further in the Champions League.

Xabi Alonso has formed a strong mentality in his players, they can also play very well when facing a strong team like Bayern Munich. The challenge that Leverkusen will face is greater after it is confirmed that they will play in the Champions League next season, they will spend more time facing strong teams who will test their abilities.
Qualifying as a team that has never lost in the Bundesliga will not have much influence because the team level there is stronger and has experience on the European stage. They have learned many things in the Europa League, defeat in the final is a valuable lesson for Leverkusen, the slightest mistake can make them eliminated faster because the Champions League is more competitive than the Europa League.

but in my opinion this year they were blessed with luck, which in some cases is necessary and clearly you don't reach those levels by chance but let's say that there were situations where they were very lucky while Napoli reached the bottom of the table competition however very far ahead being a small club compared to the big ones in Serie A

What happened in the Europa League final this season is proof that mentality is quite important, a landslide victory is not a matter of luck but rather a feat of worthiness.
In terms of quality, Atalanta is not better than Leverkusen, but Atalanta's team mentality is much stronger than Leverkusen, which has just built its team, especially since Xabi Alonso is also a coach who is still quite young and less experienced.
In the Europa League and Champions League I think the atmosphere is the same, this is a big European competition which of course will be very fierce. The difference is that in the CL the best European teams are there which makes of course the competition will be much fiercer.
The Europa League final was an exciting match and both teams have shown how their mentality, performance and also their desire to win the match, Leverkusen so far has a very strong mentality and they have been able to prove how they can make a comeback in every match they have faced so far, while Atlanta, of course we cannot underestimate their unyielding attitude even though facing a team that is currently in sufficient condition Excellent and also undefeated in the various competitions they participated in, Atlanta, which is very underrated this season, was actually able to become the first European team to manage to beat Leverkusen as well as break their unbeaten record this season.

I think Atlanta victory over Leverkusen was not a lucky one, but it was the result of hard work, careful preparation, and of course a champion mentality, besides that of course the strategy and also the game scheme they applied in the match was really effective in destroying Leverkusen game which was quite strong.

It's true, Atalanta didn't win because of luck, they won because of their hard work and the strategy they implemented was successful in beating Leverkusen. It was a success and they even won with a landslide score.
They succeeded in implementing very good defense so that Liverpool could not easily break into their goal, on the other hand, on the front line they were very effective in converting their opportunities into goals. That is a very good thing, even though it is not in accordance with what we predicted at the beginning.
Atalanta succeeded in proving that they could also provide something surprising, not only could they beat Liverpool, who were the top team, and they could even beat Leverkusen, who had never been beaten this season.
We must distinguish between wins due to luck and wins resulting from hard work. Both have different ways of achieving victory, luck is obtained after winning through a penalty shootout, while victory comes from hard work, as Atalanta did against Liverpool and Leverkusen. On paper, Liverpool and Leverkusen are too strong for a team like Atalanta to face, but because of the enthusiasm of the Atalanta players who want to win the match when facing a strong team, they are able to play with discipline and take advantage of opportunities to score goals. No one ever thought that Atalanta would be able to beat Leverkusen, but because the players had great enthusiasm and wanted to win the title, Atalanta was able to give Leverkusen their first defeat this season.

When you see Atalanta's position in the series, anyone can think that they are an extremely weak team, and this is true when you compare Atalanta in Serie A in relation to teams like Inter, Juventus, Milan, which are teams that manage to win Serie A. but Atalanta outside of Italy has opponents that have historically won and they are strong opponents that, as people don't look at the past, as soon as they look at Atalanta outside of Italy playing against teams like Liverpool and Leverkusen they could thinking that on paper Atalanta is weak, when in reality on paper Atalanta is strong when they play against Liverpool and Leverkusen

just look at the story:

source: https://livescores.biz/h2h/atalanta-vs-bayer-leverkusen

In the last games Atalanta always beat Leverkusen.

source: https://livescores.biz/h2h/atalanta-vs-liverpool-cf

Liverpool won 2 times and Atalanta won 2 times, they are evenly matched. This shows that liverpool and leverkusen were unlucky to play against atalanta who are an opponent that has historically done well against them, unfortunately atalanta in series A don't even have any chance of becoming series A champions in all seasons. That's why in my opinion I say that leverkusen is not a strong team outside of germany, they will do poorly in the european champions league, just like liverpool and even atalanta
I don't doubt what you said. I have also said it that Atalanta was better than these two clubs and that it was not by luck or the unseriousness of the players that led to their defeat. From the record which you posted above it shows that Atalanta have won both clubs most.

Leverkusen like you said will not go far in the Champions League, you should know that the UCL is a very strong league and not for clubs that can only perform internally, but for clubs that can perform both in domestic and international competitions. I am not expecting too much from Atalanta and Leverkusen next season in UCL.

The Europa League is just as challenging as the Champions League. Leverkusen demonstrating they have the heart, the skill, and the chops by making it to the championship game. If they don't have the CL badge, don't dismiss them. A hungry team with something to prove is dangerous. That hunger, Leverkusen has. They're going to arrive prepared to prove to the world that they belong on the main platform

Whatever can happen in soccer. See Leicester City; they were given no opportunity, yet they went on to win the entire Premier League. Leverkusen's got a similar vibe. Before making any snap judgments, let's see what they can do in the Champions League. They upsetting a few well-known people wouldn't surprise me. They have the drive, the skill, and now the opportunity
I can't say that because maybe the Europa League is challenging, but the Europa League is on a different level to the Champions League. Because the teams here are also teams that cannot be in the Champions League. But I also can't say that in the Europa League I can also see interesting competition and I can even see the surprises that occur here.
What caught my attention was that when Sevilla was in the European League, they could compete fiercely and even became the team that was considered the best here because they repeatedly won titles. However, when they are at a higher level (in the Champions League), they also cannot do much and can only be a team that cannot compete closely, and in the end they will return to the European League. But this season they couldn't do that, because in the Champions League they failed miserably.

This will be a real challenge for Xabi Alonso, he has to prove to everyone that what he achieved this season was not luck but was the result of the hard work of himself and the players. Because currently there are still many narratives that say that, but it is normal because those who say that are people who want to see whether Leverkusen can do the same thing or not.

In my opinion, it is very difficult to be able to repeat the same thing by only achieving 1 defeat from all the matches they played, but at least they can be consistent by achieving many positive results or not the opposite results this season. Because there are many teams that can only show impressive performance in just one season, while in the following season they fail to give their best and they even decline very sharply. We can see Napoli in Serie A, Sevilla in La Liga and many more teams showing performance like that.
