2-3 is gonna be difficult for the Italians and they wont be able to "correct" this...

They tried their best.
Wolves was the favorites for this game and they proved themselves as it was the normal.
I think that this series has ended and Wolves will proceed to the next stage.

One more step from Wolves to the Europa League group phase.
Wolves are very lucky to be able to win at Torino home, and the second leg in 1 week will be done at Wolves home. Wolves in this case must be very profitable and must be able to secure this ticket. To be sure, do not believe too high will pass. Because the ball is round and anything can happen.

No... I bet on them and they were NOT the favourites, not even by a slim margin. All the bookies I checked had them above 3/1, and odds climbed as the match approached.

Torino aren't a shitty team though and they will have every incentive to win... but Moulineux is a tough place. Wolves HAVE to be the favourites to win at home, but if I were a Torino fan, great value for money to bet on my team next week!
From the bookies perspective, they weren't favorites by a long shot but most soccer fans believed that they would be able to get the job done though they were playing away from home, Those guys play fiercely and superbly irrespective of their opponents and their location.

Good good good

nice pick so far mate - i was confident Gent would get an easy home win due to more quality, as simple as that... lets see what happens in the 2. half

Njaaaaaah
As usual
Nothing for me...

Still,  it's very good result for Rijeka,  undeserved,  with a lot luck but they have very good chance now to beat Gent in Rijeka and finally pass to the group stage.
Gent is better team,  of course,  and still have more chance to win but in 1 game everything is possible.
Let's say 60% for Gent and 40 % for Rijeka.

the next match Rijeka is playing at home, let's say that 1:0 is enough to pass to the group stage... this is how they are thinking to enter in that match
so if 1:0 is mathematically enough, they will not play to run for a 3:0 ex.
I'm not so optimistic that Rijeka can get to the group stage from this point, but will be very happy if they achieve that goal of course  Cool

Biggest surprise today was the Strasbourg 1 - 0 Frankfurt, one shot on target, one goal  Roll Eyes (probably PAOK losing in the 94min is also a bit suprising) but other than that, the big teams in this stage won with ease (PSV, Espanyol, Celtic, etc). Looking forward to the 2nd leg next week.

Yeah, right. Frankfurt had been brilliant during the qualifiers but so has been Strasbourg, So I wasn't totally surprised by the match, I was rather expecting more goal from both ends instead.

The 2nd leg in Germany should be more interesting, but Strasbourg should not be not underestimated, I might even put a little on them if the odds are tempting (anything more than 8 odds)

Frankfurt is definitely going to win this at home mate - yeah, lets wait for the odds but they just cant go down vs strasburg Cheesy

Haven't there been quite a number of upset over 2 legs already in the Champions league and UEL qualifiers this season, we just have to wait and see. The fixture I'm mostly looking forward to for the 2nd leg is actually Torino vs Wolverhampton

I might also go for over 2.5 and BTTS on the Torino - Wolves.
Current record: 6W | 8L

What a game! Couldn't watch it but 2-3 sounds like a lot of fun for a neutral. Although I lost a big parlay (ffs AZ Alkmaar! at home, 11vs10, and you draw that game!!), finally a win for me after going through a losing streak (:

PAOK loosing is surprising indeed - personally yes, I would lie if I said I would not enjoy this since those PAOK guys act as if they were top European club... but yes, its definitely a surprise since they are the better team... Anyways, its not like 1-0 is decisive whatsoever and Greece is hell as you may know... Wink

Today first leg game of Europa league playoff round will be plaid. Any thouggts about these matches? I'm looking forward for PSV, Celtic, Feyenoord and Malmo wins and over 2.5 goals in Copenhagen - Riga game.
If one is dilligent and not extremely greedy, one can get some moey from th matches that's going to be played today, most of the favorites are playing their games at home and it would be easy for them to win at home, PAOK and Wolves are the only two teams playing away from home who i believe have a chance of winning today.

sure that, the favorites are playing at home, so they have a chance to make a positive goal difference
btw, one of the bookers favourites, KAA Gent vs. HNK Rijeka, is not one of my favourites, cause my opinion is that Rijeka, with all the respect to Gent, can easily turn back home without loosing this match
so my pick is: Double Chance, Draw or HNK Rijeka @2.26

So I'm not the only the one who thinks Wolves have a chance tonight? Well I'm going for two upsets in a parlay today, both British teams and both teams I'm tipping to go far in this competition. Scottish Rangers and English Wolves.

Why? Only because they're very much alike in the sense they're still not quite the complete package, with not much to prove but eager to bring the fight. Rangers have far less resources but a manager full of grit, though Wolves have also a manager with a lot of grit.

Probably smarter to take over 2.5 on each but you never know with slim upsets.

BTW. I should have gone for Ararat Armenia again. They won the last leg but the bookies dropped the odds when they should have been the underdog again.

I also believed in an Ararat home win but placed my bet 1 & under 2.5 goals... too bad... Other than that, AEK vs Trabzon so far the Turks are the better team and its 1-1 just before HT.

I am also on PAOK here - even though I really dont like them as a club, they have some quality and are much stronger than Slovan, even though its an away game and you never know. My tip is 1-2 actually.

Other than that it will be very interesting to see AEK vs Trabzonspor - Greek/Turkish duels are always special and I expect both to be very cautious, so under 2.5 is my bet here.

I believe that trabzonspor is going to win this game with not many goals scored. Possibly and under 2.5 bet is fair combined with Trabzonspor's win.

Some interesting games: Spartak - SC Braga and Torino -Wolves. I think I'm gonna go with a parlay today, there are some big teams (PSV, Espanyol, Feyernood, etc) playing at home against some really weak sides and I doubt we'll see any upsets.

I might also go for over 2.5 and BTTS on the Torino - Wolves, and a few more singles since there are A LOT of games today.
