Barcelona couldn't achieve a good success against Frankfurt last night. I was expecting them to win here and have a good advantage already. But they had a huge problem against Frankfurt and the game ended in a draw by 1-1. Frankfurt didn't play like in the first half later on. If they did, maybe Barcelona would have even lost this game. And the red card was an opportunity for them but they couldn't turn it into an advantage either. However, I still feel like they are going to move Frankfurt out of their way in Camp Nou.

I'm just not sure about the Leipzig-Atalanta pair. Leipzig is a pretty nice team and I can imagine how they win the title, for Atalanta I doubt it more. Although if you think from the point of view of symmetry, then Leipzig can be sacrificed, since this is the second team from Germany, while the rest of the countries already have only one representative each.

Barcelona has a very good performance in La Liga, while Frankfurt's performance is arguably unstable (their last 2 matches in the Bundesliga have ended in draws), so the 1-1 draw between Frankfurt and Barcelona was beyond my expectations because I think that Barcelona will get an easy win.

It is true that Frankfurt played pretty aggressively and also hard but they did not play unfair at all in my opinion and there was not one bad foul in the match yesterday if i remember correctly. The Barca players were complaining a lot towards the referee yesterday but i don't think that the ref did a bad job today, i just think that the Barca players were pretty unhappy about how the whole game went down. They probably did not expect Frankfurt to be that strong i guess and i think that Barca can be very happy with the end result of 1-1.

Thats the main objective wasnt it, to win and score as many goals as possible as the away team but getting a draw with 1 goal scored is already an advantage as the away team. Barcelona now either needs to force a draw or score another goal to ensure that they will be getting to the next round but honestly Frankfurt was great last night though, they had alot more chances but yeah they didnt score

Frankfurt displayed a very good performance last night, if barcelona is not being careful during the second leg they might be eliminated from the competition, luckily for barcelona if not for the fact that Dembele was introduced around 62min, barcelona might have lost the game, Dembele was the one who turned the match around for barcelona, Ferran torres needs to improve on his finish ability, probably a special traning on how to will be very good for him

The first half was really bad for Barcelona. Frankfurt had a big dominance against them. In the second half, things started to be better for Barcelona. Even though Frankfurt scored quickly in this half, they weren't too late to score the equalizer. But I still didn't like Barcelona's performance in general. They need to do better in the second leg to be able to eliminate their opponent.
To be truthful, the first leg Europa semi final really surprised everyone, only Braga won Rangers 1 goals to nothing, this does not even mean Braga would qualify, the remaining matches ended 1 goals to 1 which means draw, even Atalanta and Barcelona that we all thought would win did not win, it was not home match for Atalanta and Barcelona, which still gives the possibility that both clubs will qualify for semi final. 
I think it is very sad that Barcelona cannot score a goal even against Frankfurt, which plays with 10 players. This team should perform much better. Their standing in the league is getting better day by day, but I think they should have won the match comfortably against a team like Frankfurt.

Huh? They did score a goal, great one too, but sure, when you get a team losing one guy, what can you expect except that they defend with 10 men? They did counter of course but read the reports and it shows they were defending and countering after the red card.

The desire you wanted in Barcelona last night really can't be fulfilled by Barcelona and any great club.
