Barcelona surprised everyone by unable to beat Eintracht Frankfurt today, but if you look at the previous rounds, a draw can be advantageous for them. They finish the job in the game they will play at home. They eliminated Galatasaray and Napoli in the same way. I believe that Barcelona will pass this tour without any mistakes. If they want the trophy, they can't make a mistake in the quarter finals. Except for Braga, all matches ended 1-1, creating an interesting image. It also showed how controlled the teams were playing.

Frankfurt made the game tough for Barcelona to win. Honestly I wasn't expecting such an impressive performance from them.They really surprised us by resisting their opponent. The red card was suppose to be an opportunity for Barca to win, but Frankfurt were strong enough to withstand them to the end of the game. If they probably put in the same energy in the second leg of the match which will be played few days from now. I think Barcelona won't win them easily. And they might be lucky enough to beat Barcelona, and advance to the Semi-finals.

Barcelona seem to have difficulties on these europa league games and they conceide goals on most of them despite playing against some medium level teams like galatasaray and frankfurt but it seems that they will be able to get past they just need to focus on the camp nou game. Generally we have other bets to cover losses 1x2 or total goal and Both teams to score if lucky we can win all
Matches like the Europa League are sometimes unpredictable the first leg was the reason for some surprises.
barcelona had been showing good defense in the last games and Eintracht is a team that conceded goals in most games and couldn't score more than 1 goal, so I thought that placing an over bet would be very risky and betting on under would be too very risky that's why I preferred to take a chance on barcelona to win, it seemed more sensible to me given the data I was seeing, but once again I lost my bet. This week it's not been easy, bad luck has knocked the door and I'm losing every game. Glad I only bet what I can afford to lose

So far Barcelona have dominated this match even though they haven't created many chances. It was an interesting match where both teams played offensively. At least I don't think the match will end in a draw today.

All quarter final match result are draw except match Braga vs Ranger were Braga success win 1-0 and become good capital for 3nd leg later. I was suprised with Frankfurt vs Barcelona because with many prediction Barcelona easy win on this match but failed and have draw only, but still lucky about 2nd leg hold on Sportify Bernabue Stadium. Still have chance for Barcelona win on 2nd leg and have chance lead to semifinal on UEFA Europe League.
It was definitely an unexpected result from Barcelona. The weird thing is when they do not play well, like when they got a tie against Galatasaray, or now, they look like they are not that great at all, then they go out and score 4 goals against real Madrid. That makes no sense to me, they play soooo well when it's working and everything goes according to the plan and when it doesn't and there are hiccups in the strategy they look like a mediocre team at best. I have never seen a team have this much of a clear night and day type of difference in their performances, probably one of the biggest differences in football history as well.
Let's just say this is the effect of the difference in situation between European teams and local leagues they don't understand each other
It's very different when it comes to playing against local league teams who already understand each other, I think this is the most appropriate reason

They played badly in my opinion and they only developed their game after Frankfurt played with 10 men there and they didn't get many chances in this match.to be honest I hope Frankfurt win in this match but indeed Barcelona can still equalize with Ferran's counter goal.

It's funny that 3 games ended in 1-1. Perhaps Barcelona would have envisioned more of it, but I expect that they will finish it at home in Nou Camp soon. Of the other 2 matches that were in 1-1 I dare not say who will go through. And the last game that ended in 1-0 is far from being played and a lot can still happen there. I only had one bet with Braga, but the results of the rest of the matches made me lose my bets even though I had some victories in the Champions League but I lost some of my previous wins!!! That's why I feel like I took a kick to the back from this draws
I was hoping to see Barcelona winning against Frankfurt but they shocked me by having a big difficulty and drawing with their opponent. They couldn't defeat Frankfurt even after Frankfurt got a red card while there was still quite a good time left for the final whistle. Barcelona are still not playing like the way they play in the La Liga. I think that this shows how much they care about this tournament. But I still wait for them to defeat Frankfurt in their home game in the second leg and reach the semi final round.

Yes, It was tougher than they would have anticpated, but I guess that is what you would expect from a road trip against a well over average opponent. It was still a positive result to take back home for Barcelona and hopefully they can get the best result in the return leg, but Barcelona still can't afford to get extremely comfortable because they'd be playing at home.

Three games ended up with the same result tonight, 1-1. And we saw two red cards as well. Barcelona would have benefited from one of these red cards but Frankfurt still managed to secure a 1-1 draw at least. However their chance in Camp Nou is not too high as long as Barcelona play focusedly. And in the other game that we saw a red card in, West Ham still did a good job against Lyon. Even though Lyon dominated the second half, West Ham scored first and then Lyon found the equalizer. Getting a 1-1 draw despite a red card is still not that bad but West Ham will need to work hard in the rematch.
