Lee Carsley, the interim manager, had a really poor day. I didn't even like that 4-2-1-3 formation. Besides why would you prefer Bellingham as the main striker while you have options like Solanke and Watkins?
Better Southgate than Carsley he put Bellingham as a striker and Foden is this following in the footsteps of formations like they play in clubs? Whereas Watkins and Solanke are pure strikers.

You know in national matches, the coaches just tries to reshuffle players in different positions as against how they position in league games but players also needs to adapt since sometimes it's really difficult for a coach to identify a particular position that will fit in so well for them individually.

And this is what Nations League matches are like - sometimes games don't try as hard as club competitions - because the international break is just boring and even if we bet it will make us emotional.

You are right actually about players not bringing forth that much energy in country games as they do in their league games but that doesn't mean they don't give their best to see their country having a good result at the end of the day. Yes Nations league games are very complex to predict but i prefer making single bets or not many accumulations that's the only way to get some wins but if you make much accumulations it may not really work according to your predictions

There are some good matches today. For example, Hungary vs Netherlands looks like it will be a good match or Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Germany. But I will watch the Turkiye - Montenegro match. Turkiye have 4 points in the group, Montenegro have no points. Turkiye are the leader in the group, Montenegro are last. On paper everything is in favor of Turkiye. But I think Montenegro are not an easy opponent. Prosineçki had worked in Turkiye before. And he left good impressions. I will bet on both teams to score in this match. Because Turkiye have some problems in defense. If Montenegro score one goal, everything will be easy for my bet.
Hungary is not so good in performance compared to the Netherlands which is a very strong team, they are at different Levels in my opinion, this match should be quite easy for the Netherlands to beat Hungary to get 3 extra points.
League A group three will be dominated by 2 teams Germany and Netherlands, those are the teams that will qualify for the next round easily because Hungary and Bosnia & Herzegovina are not worthy opponents for them.
The game is just different the way you thought it will be because the game is very interesting,  in the first half Hungary gave Netherlands a tough game and they were able to score one game. I think the performance of Hungary is not bad like the way you thought it will be, though Netherlands are playing quite fine but from the performance of Hungary right from the beginning of the game, they also have chances of winning the game and they are already leading the game.

Hungary defensive game is really giving Netherlands a tough game . Netherlands is a very good team and I never thought this game will be so tough for then, since their is still time in the game they may have luck to score a goal.

Lorenzo Pellegrini’s red card was a bad start to the win for Italy. A goal in the first minute and a second minute goal that made it 2-0 to Luciano Spalletti’s side changed to 2-2 after Pellegrini’s red card in the 40th minute.
It seems Spalletti was not prepared for the game in the middle of the match when his team received a red card. This should have been a winning streak, but it doesn’t look like it will be as Belgium are now in control.
There is still a chance of a comeback for Belgium.
Sometimes the action of one player can prove fatal to a team and in the case of Lorenzo Pellegrini I felt that foul wasn't worth it. Just let the player be and I didn't see what caused the card but I guess it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity that he stopped, or was it? Now it had to cost them their three points. At least with this one point they managed to get they were still able to qualify for the next round.

An additional one point on the match against Belgium still made Italy lead the group because when against France in the first match, Italy indeed so that until yesterday the Italian point was still above France.
It will be easier to make sure to qualify because of the next fight against Israel.

Türkiye before the Monenegro game is predicted it will not be difficult to win, with other terms Montenegro will lose.
Until half time, the position is still 0-0. Odds has changed. There is a possibility that Türkiye still has the opportunity to win in 45 minutes the second half will be a bet that will bring in victory on the betting list if some of the chosen teams also win based on betting options.

Yeah you right.
These torunamente are only interesting for smaller teams since they give them some visibility
To biggers team this cup is just a lost of time.
I doubt that players wanna even play these games but they are "forced" to from federation. If these players refuse the call they will probably not called for the biggers games later.

Not even only a waste of time for top teams, but also a serious danger of injury.  Sad  Even though we talk about some of them as they don't care, I still see many huge talents in their squads here.

Like Bellingham, Palmer and so on in England squad. There is a big risk of getting injured. Because this year the schedule for clubs is busier than ever.

Anyway it is halftime in the Turkey - Montenegro game... Did I enjoy the first half? Not even a bit.  Tongue  We were dominant in theory but we still couldn't score any goal. It is getting more boring when I watch a game like this. I would love to see Montella starting the second half with a real striker instead of the winger Barış Alper, thanks in advance.

That England loss is the highlight of today's Nation league fixtures. I hear that it's the first time ever that Greece have won at wembley so it's a pretty big deal for them. We're continuing to see a poor run of form for England. It was clear even during the Euro 2024 that this England team have something fundamentally wrong with the team despite having housing some of the biggest football stars, they couldn't beat a Greece team with plenty of unknowns. I know anything can happen in football but your eye brows start raising up when it happens one too many times.
I was completely unaware of the UEFA Nations League. I'm still quite new to football, so this is all new to me; I'm mostly participating in the Greek Super League. It came to my attention after seeing the game England vs. Greece, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting my country to win. It is a big deal firstly because of the death of George Baldock, and secondly because this is the first ever win against England in Wembley. It was a good game, even though I expected more from England, as their performance in Euro 2024 was outstanding.

I would not gamble in this competition no matter how great some games are. I'm saying this because some of the players cannot adapt to play from 3 to 3 days and and we can see this in games like last night between Italy and Belgium but also between England and Greece where Greece won by 2-1 at Wembley and produced a surprise. For me , it's not a big surprise as we will se games like that one almost every week now as coaches will start to rest key players in order to keep them fresh for the most important games.

I have said it before and I will still repeat it that England is over hype country, Every time you will hear that England has the best players in the world but for me, England has players but they are not the best players in the world, I was surprised with what England performance yesterday, but I blame the coach for using some player's to start the match yesterday, starting a match with Foden, Saka, palmer and Bellingham is not a good option because Saka, Foden and Palmer are left leg player and they will be going to the same position when attacking, England midfield in the game against Greece look bored because there is not any player that can create chances, the only player that plays well yesterday is only Jude Bellingham and he is the one that deserves England best player of the year.

Many people who said Palmer deserves the England Player of the Year have seen what Bellingham is doing for English, only Jude Bellingham plays a good game and he always does that to make sure England does not lose the game but in the end, England players disgrace him by playing poor, Greece deserves to win the match because they put a lot of pressure to England defensive player's.

Hungary had a problem with their attacking lines because from 2 latest matches in Nation League Hungary was unable to scores and their last match against Bosnia and Herzegovina is not too satisfied because they only playing draw with scores 0-0 and for their opponent Netherlands has same points with Germany because they can collect 4 points from 2 matches and the latest is Netherlands can able to gets draw result from strong team Germany and i am sure this result is boosted their motivation to collect 3 points from this match

The odds for Netherlands is @1.69 and actually this is good odds considering Netherlands status as the favourite but i just thinking other option for this match just like over 2.5 goals and this option has better odds compared to Netherlands win and why i was thinking to pick over 2.5 goals is because Hungary defensive lines is weak they even in the first match lost with final scores 5-0 from Germany so i think Netherlands can win too with at least 2 goals margin or more

The Nations League continually reminds me of why I don't make any bet on this competition anymore.  Grin  We see surprising results quite often.
I learnt this lesson from the last international break, all these international games are not the best to bet on. players from big teams who play for big countries simply do not put in their best, so big countries do not usually perform as expected during these international games.

Generally we see it from the most favoured nations. For example England... What was that loss for real? You shouldn't lose to Greece at least while the game is at Wembley.
The players from Greece had a motivation to play and win to the honor of their teammate who died, England were there to just try.
It is a big lesson to the coach, in the next game, he will not keep Solanke or Watkins on the bench.

lmfao It's hard to trust some teams in the Nations League. It's not as predictable as league matches. Looking at yesterday's matches, I could never have predicted it before the match.
Today is the Turkey - Montenegro match. I remember Turkey won the last match 2-1.
Montenegro is not a very good team when it comes to winning.

Nevertheless, these tournaments are significant for small teams to be out on the international stage, and of course for them to help develop their players. Even if there are just a handful of people watching, the experience can be valuable for the country. Also, in football, the results are always unexpected; take, for example, England's defeat to Greece. This shows how much surprise football holds within itself.

Yeah I think the players are lacking rest, we say how most players were complaining about how tight their schedule are this season sometimes they tend to play 3 match in a week. Rodri was complaining about it and also carvajal  too and now they are both injured with an ACL, both will not be able to play this sesosn again due to the long time injure. Since the international break yesterday numbers of players have been injured already, we saw saka forced out yesterday due to injury and alot of other players too have been injured too in other nations qualifiers.

I won't say England lost yesterday due to injury problems instead it was due to improper line up, you can't play a team like Greece and not have a top striker in the field, was expecting Watkins to start, den bench Folden, push palmer upfront and pair bellengham and rice in that midfield. England barely created chances and only have to 2 shot on target. So I will say the coach cost England that loss.

The absence of both Romelu Lukaka and Kevin de Bruyne not withstanding I still do no think that the Italian side are at that level were they can pose much threat against the Belgians because am sure the Belgian coach would find a suitable replacement for these two players even if it may not be exactly at the class of De Bruyne or Lukaku and besides it would be an opportunity for new players to showcase their talents against the Italians.
Its quite unfortunate, the Italian players are actually a big threat to the Belgian team in today's game, because judging from the performance of the first 25 minutes of the game, it was visibly obvious the Italian squad had a good attack force and good strategy, which led to the 2 goals in the first 24 minutes by Cambiaso and Retegui, of which I'm sure Belgian would never have scored a single goal if the Italian never got a red card (Lorenzo Pellegrino), which I'm sure must have destabilized the Italian player's strategy more, leading to goal by Belgian at 42 minutes by "De Cuyper". However, this game is likely to end either draw or a win to the Italian squad, despite playing with a one player down.
The red card given to the Italian player named Pellegrino in the 40 minutes of play faulted the threat of a win by the Italians against the Belgian. If not for the red card, Italy would have won the match as the host team, giving them a hat trick of victories because they had already won France and Israel in their previous matches.

However, at the end of the match(2-2 draw) between Italy and Belgium, I think both teams will be happy that they got a point instead of the other team having 3 points. Italy succeeded in holding on to a draw despite their red card, and Belgium succeeded in equalizing the 2 goals led against them by the Italians. It's a win for both teams

An unnecessary and pointless tournament serves no purpose other than tiring the players out even more. Players already play too many matches and with this tournament they play even more matches.

A tournament that should definitely be cancelled.
You are right and I agree that this tournament is not very important to be held because it can make players like tools to bring benefits to interested parties.
They (players) are like machines that are created without caring about their health.
With the change in the format of the Champions League, especially in Europe they are very tired because they have to play matches in the teams they strengthen each.
If I may say so, the UEFA Nation League tournament should be canceled.

England suffered an unexpected defeat. Greece won the match 2-1 with a last-minute goal and rose to the top of the group.

It was an easy match for France, they beat Israel 4-1.

Italy was 2-0 ahead but couldn't keep the score. Lorenzo Pellegrini was shown a red card in the 40th minute and Italy was reduced to 10 men.

Greece now takes the lead in Group 2, and this is League B  Grin
It's a funny, clownish tournament that will probably soon be cancelled, but England's failures are amusing.
I would also like to highlight the game between Norway and Slovenia, where thanks to a double by Haaland, Norway won and confidently continues to lead.

An unnecessary and pointless tournament serves no purpose other than tiring the players out even more. Players already play too many matches and with this tournament they play even more matches.

A tournament that should definitely be cancelled.

Ireland performed very seriously in this match, but the players of Ireland team were aggressive from the start but the opposite team tried to attack Finland but they did not succeed usually they lost due to fate. Finland team they are very useful this season but they can't play enough role in attack department, but Finland team perform poorly in this match due to lack of experience of goalkeeper in this match. In the whole match Finland team made 7 attacks and the opposite team Ireland made 15 attacks, although in this match Ireland team won by 2-1 goal margin.

This match favored Ireland by displaying a very aggressive game that continued to break through the opponent's defense, namely the Finnish team, they were very overwhelmed in dealing with Ireland's continuous attacks.
It was very disappointing for the Finnish team with the lack of a goalkeeper in dealing with Ireland's attacks, the pressure after pressure in the first half was difficult to contain so that at the end of the match the Irish team won, but that did not make the opposing team slump, they remained enthusiastic in the next match.
