@Kemarit. After the boxing match versus Floyd Mayweather, Conor will fight Khabib in Russia. Let us hope the negotiations with Conor's agents will be free of problems so that it can happen on December. That would be a nice christmas gift from Dana White and the UFC.

wow this would be good man and also match in russia ? wow that is big.

Kevin Lee isn't gonna look like a hungry lion.  Not vs Ferguson at least.  Ferguson is one of the most hard working athletes in the UFC and he's one of the most underrated.  I don't think even McGregor would win against him if they were to fight today.

I agree, Ferguson is one of the most underrated fighter in the UFC. He has string of winning streak and I think his last lost is like 5 years ago. Although he has losses already, but those are early in his career. And McGregor would rather fight Nate Diaz, instead of fighting Ferguson and Khabib. He is avoiding them like a plague.

No way Kevin Lee is gonna win vs Ferguson.  Ferguson is the best in the LW division.  Not McGregor nor Khabib has an easy chance vs him.

I will be making the thread for 216 later.

Im willing to give Kevin Lee a chance as the hungry young Lion looking for fame and glory. It would make his nake skyrocket and he would definitely get a shoot against McGregor for a super fight if he wins Ferguson. Of course chances are Tony Ferguson will win, but im willing to take a risk here. No big risk no big reward, and I think Kevin Lee making an upset on this one is a good bet as long as you aren't gambling crazy money, but the gains can be worth it.

I agree. Lee is a live dog and not to be taken lightly. But Ferguson is on a different level now and will go as the favorite in this fight. I'm sure the odds are good if we bet for Kevin but just to be sure not to bet big but an upset will be a good one for the betting public.

Next big event is UFC Fight Night Ovince St Preux vs Yushin Okami on september 23rd, 2017.

Bellator 183 Benson Henderson vs Patricky Freire is also on september 23rd.

The UFC event is in japan. Both events might be on during different times due to time zone differences, even though they're listed as being on the same day.

Most fight nights aren't really that exciting for a casual fan like me, I don't know what all of these people are to be honest. I only like to see the world champion contenders going at it and only gamble on the big fights. Sometimes there are good night fights but not often for a casual.

This is the one I can't wait to see. Im betting on a Kevin Lee win.

Well guys it looks like Jones is officially stripped off his title after failing two tests for steroids.  His rematch with Cormier has been now overturned into a 'no contest'.  Cormier is reinstated as the LHW champ.

Jones you stupid little ****.  What a waste.

What the....

I'm so disappointed with Jones. He just wasted his fucking career. I guess Cormier is right portraying what's the real personality of Jones specially in their first fight. You will hear Jones talking shit about Cormier and he thought that the microphone is offline. I still remember Cormier saying that Jones trying to sell himself as the good guy but outside he is so arrogant and boastful. Glad to see Cormier being he LHW champ and for exposing how fraudster Jones was from the very beginning.

I don't know how can Jones get out of this situation. UFC has been very lenient with him but he took advantage of it. You can really see that something is fishy with how he bulk himself specially around his deltoids which typically scream for steroids used. At least DC was vindicated on his claims on Jones. I read that its gonna be a 4 year suspension but I'm sure he gonna appeal once again.

Daniel Cormier should be happy, he is still the champion. Jon Jones is a cheater, im tired of his bullshit, his career is over, he will no longer be able to recover from this. 4 years from now he will have no experience with real fights for a long time and he will lose if he fights a strong contender like Gustafsson.

Let's focus on Ferguson vs Lee coming soon this October.

The steroids turn out to be Turinabol which is Dbol for all those who are familiar with steroids. This is usually taken to gain mass quicker an leaner. I don't know how many times Jones already caught cheating. This is very damaging and his legacy as a MMA fighter is tainted now. I agree, he just waste his career and we don't know what will happen to him next.

As for Cormier, I'm sure he is quite surprise receiving a call from Dana saying "Hey, we are going to reinstate you as the LHW again". So moving into the HW division should have to wait for DC then. And I'm thinking that DC would love to defend that title once again.

Its just such a waste. Bones could've been with the likes of silva couture and lidell. Cormier's a great light heavyweight champion and i don't think they'll miss jones that much. It's just such a waste for me with jones' talent.

@pereira4. Then maybe he was really taking steroids during training and he thought that he would get away with it. Who would take a steroid pill orally if it has to take weeks before he gets the effects?

Well if he knows about how steroids work, he wouldn't take it near fight time, but we don't know exactly what dose what found and we don't know exactly about the substance, was it an anabolic steroid or a PED or what?

I always knew Bones was roiding to get that physique. The guy has a super fast metabolism, he looked pretty jacked lately while still having a low BF. This is just not possible with that type of tall, lanky, fast metabolism bodytype..

We are looking at a 6'4'' guy, not some 5'9'' guy that even if he is skinny, can look bulky due the shorter muscles with natural training.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was still on cocaine.  From Jon Jones' point of view it's better to be caught using PED's than using drugs.

I also think Jones' career is close to going RIP after this.  What a waste.
I read somewhere that if after serving 1 year ban in UFC and caught using illegal substance again that will result to not 1 year ban but 4 years. if that is correct that Jon Jones can bid goodbye to UFC or MMA. He is not getting young, after 4 years he may not be the same anymore. As for DC, he accepted his loss graciously but after this issue, he might sue Jon Jones.
Bones just can't get his act together. His natural ability to toy around with other opponents would be overshadowed by his continuous off-cage behavior. And at 30 years of age, he might have just thrown away the last opportunity to redeem himself. The UFC is starting to get boring with all these non-sense coming their way.

But why would Jon take the oral steroids? To what purpose was it for? If he is proven guilty and that he is removed from being the UFC's light heavyweight champion, then maybe we should organize a shame walk for him like in the Game of Thones. hehehe

Well the whole story is very strange. If he did it, then why, and if he didn't then who would put an oral steroid in his food or whatever? or was it in a drink? it's very strange... who would risk getting caught by putting drugs in a top elite athlete? This is all weird. I think both parties are lying. We will find out soon what happened.
