@thejaytiesto I wont bet against Jon Jones as i consider him the greatest fighter of all time,i really like Daniel Cormier when he started his career in the heavy weight division and was following all his fights till now,he is the second best fighter but age is also not in his side. Wink

@Hydrogen This time around Daniel Cormier wont be having his usual weight cutting issues as he is under the control of a dietitian and he is following his routine and wight cutting rules have changed now,you have to start weight cutting two months before the fight and the commission will monitor these things and if they find they are over weight two months prior ,then they wont allow them to fight cutting the weight.

I'm leaning toward Daniel Cormier here. Jon Jones has the psychological disadvantage this time around. DC will show who is the real champion and he really wants to fucked up Jones and  this time he has the chance and will not let this slip away. DC will use his wrestling and this will be a long and grinding fight that will favor him. DC will come and ready to fight but I don't know about Jon Jones. Daniel Cormier by decision.

This fight is one of the most anticipated UFC rematch as many fools like me idolize Jon Jones and his unpredictable way of fighting. So I am for Jones here via scorecards. Because I want a part 3. Cheesy

We have more info on this one already:

http://www.ufc.com/event/ufc-214?id=

I already picked up my winners

D Cormier vs Jon Jones: DC wins
Woodley vs Maia: Woodley wins
Cyborg vs Evinger: Cyborg wins
Lawler vs Cerrone: Cerrone wins
Sage Northcut vs Magdesi: Northcut wins

I have no idea about the rest so im not picking any sides.

Im going for DC because Jon Jones has fucked up so many times with drugs, that DC will win either by DQ on jones, or by Jones underperforming due his head being a mess, and you can't make a single mistake with DC or it's over.

Jon Jones problem is substance abuse. Alcohol, cocaine, whatever. DC's problem seems to be controlling his eating. Maybe DC is similar to Johny Hendricks. I'm not certain how that will go down. DC looked a lot better fighting Rumble Johnson than Jon Jones looked fighting Ovince St Preux.

Didn't realize Sage Northcutt was fighting. That guy does a good job with his social media and self promotion. I think that's why he gets paid more than other athletes. Sage Northcutt has about twice as many twitter followers as Gegard Mousasi. If only he could do better in his fights.

@Hydrogen i am going for a parlay for Bellator 179 ,Rory MacDonald vs Paul Daley, Paul Daley does not even have a chance against Rory MacDonald as he is a beast and he has defeated the current Welterweight champ Tyron Woodley and Paul Daley does not even have a good resume and i have seen his sloppy fights in UFC and Dana banned him for life for hitting the opponent after the bell . Cheesy another match is Liam McGeary vs Linton Vassell, Liam Mcgeary will take down Vassel pretty easily and will defeat him within two rounds.

I think this friday is also bellator 179, Paul Daley vs Rory MacDonald.

There could be some good fights on that card although unfortunately Michael Venom Page vs Derek Anderson was cancelled after Page suffered a knee injury.

I think the card airs early in the morning for north america and will be on a tape replay. Have to get those bets in earlier than normal.

I didn't know that Rory has moved to Bellator. He was once regarded as the "heir apparent" to fellow Canadian GSP. But two unsuccessful fights against Robbie Lawler and Stephen Thompson put him out of the contention. I think this will be an easy fight for now. He has all the advantage against Paul Daley so I think he will win this one to get back his confidence level.

Jon Jones is a cheater in my book, who knows how many times he has fooled the system to get on there with enhancements. Also let's not forget that Jon Jones lost the fight against Alexander Gustafsson (at least in my opinion, or was very close to losing him) and the judges gave him the decision in one of those controversial nights.

In fact I would like to see an Alexander Gustafsson rematch above a DC rematch.

I think the Alexander Gustafsson can go either way. But since he is the champion that time the judges give him the nod. As for the cheating, I always thought that he intentionally poke the eye of his opponent. The rule says you need to have a close fist, but he always open his fist that sometimes he accidentally? poke some of his opponents and never deducted a point by the referee. This for me is the special treatment and he thinks that he can always do it without any reprimand from the referee.

@pereira4. They are all the same. If everyone of them can avoid the detection of steroid use then all of them would use it. The Brazilians are known to be the ones who use a lot of steroids. It explains why Junior Dos Santos was easily knocked out by Stipe.

well hopefully this is true and if it is, hopefully nothing happens again to bones. this has been too far overdue and with the way cormier defeated rumble the last time around, I think this is the next big fight that everyone should look forward to. I think aside from any side issues, bones still is the best light heavyweight out there.

@pereira4 ,Jon Jones was a junkie but he never used performance enhancing drugs and do you think that he was really into it because we cannot see much of a change physically after the implementation of USADA as most of the PED users are out of shape now because of the strict policy and it is not that easy to bypass them,we are seeing improvements in the physical appearance of Jones recently and he never won the fights with his big muscular body,he won because of his creativity inside the cage.

Daniel is really strong. He did some amazing takedowns WWE style in the last fight where he moved Bones Jones around like a lanky ragdoll. But this time Bones Jones has put on some mass and is not as skinny tho.

In about 2:50 here you can see the great takedown:

He lifts him up like its nothing lol.

Have to be thinking Jones for the win, the guy is a beast, a thoroughbred. I will be betting on him to win by KO.

A KO versus Daniel? Good luck with that. Daniel is also as much as strong as Jon Jones but more disciplined.

@EaLity. I know that is not Freddie Roach. I was joking.

Totally agree, Jones is mine favorite too. I will bet something like 0.1BTC but just for a win. KO part is too risky for my taste.

DO you know an option to watch it for free?

Pretty sure there will be live streams on p2p programs like sopcast or the new Acestream which is pretty cool. There are always livestream to be found on reddit usually

Remember that watching livestreams is illegal... there is like a 0.000001% of getting reported or something so I would use a VPN but most likely nobody gives a fuck that you are watching copyrighted material.

I would have bet on Jones normally, but don't underestimate DC, he went for 12 rounds last time. People said that it was a boring fight, but if DC has better luck this time he can go for the takedown and end Jon Bones Jones with his superior ground skills.

If Daniel Cormier had his reach then he would ave better chances, but he is the underdog.
He could not do anything to increase his reach, why is everyone talking about increasing anyones reach and height advantage when they really cannot do anything about that because Jon Jones enjoys his perks because he is having unfair advantage with his reach and height.  Cheesy Tongue Just start accepting that Jon Jones is so gifted genetically and he has a fight IQ than the rest and so is the reason he is unbeaten. Tongue

Im not talking about increasing his reach obviously, im just saying that if he had a bigger reach he would get a bigger chance at winning.

But you have to be realistic, Jon Bones Jones has the biggest reach on the entire UFC which is an huge advantage when combined with high skills, high athleticism etc.

DC will need to do something amazing to beat Bones.
