@ bbc.reporter they way Khabib approached his weight cutting was amateur and he approached the wight cutting like he did always and with increase in age your body might not respond in a way like it used to be in the past and even during the Michael Johnson fight he was struggling hard to make weight and somehow managed to shed the extra pound in time and even this time around with just five pounds left his body shut down,he was not ducking anyone and that is the fact.
The man in the picture is Freddie Roach look alike . Smiley

@eaLiTy. Khabib should not be given a fight in the UFC after what he did in his last event. I speculate he was trying to pull away from the fight because he knew Tony Ferguson will beat him. Tony vs Nate Diaz would be a better fight and the winner having a title shot vs Conor.

Look at the picture. Why is Freddie Roach stopping DC?

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is the most anticipated match i am looking for in a long time along with Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov and i hope we could see those fights this year and yet there is another dream match that is possible now with the return of GSP fight against Michael Bisping being called off we could possibly see a fight against Anderson Silva which was a much anticipated match for a very long time and the fight everyone was waiting to see for a long time, hope they will make that fight happen.

If Daniel Cormier had his reach then he would ave better chances, but he is the underdog.
He could not do anything to increase his reach, why is everyone talking about increasing anyones reach and height advantage when they really cannot do anything about that because Jon Jones enjoys his perks because he is having unfair advantage with his reach and height.  Cheesy Tongue Just start accepting that Jon Jones is so gifted genetically and he has a fight IQ than the rest and so is the reason he is unbeaten. Daniel Cormier is an insecure spoiled kid. In the Joe Rogan interview he pretty much admitted that the partied and did a lot of drugs just in case he lost then he would have an excuse to say.

He deserves a good beating. Unfortunately he is too good. If Daniel Cormier had his reach then he would ave better chances, but he is the underdog.

Anyway, looking forward to this. If DC fucks up again, his career is over, and so is UFC's reputation.

This is early, too early in my opinion. I think this is only a rumor. Has Dana White confirmed it? until then I think it's not going to happen this quick, but damn if it happens it's going to be huge. Clearly the biggest UFC fight in years, we all have been waiting for this. I hope Cormier wins. I cant stand the stuck up Jones.
I can understand your frustration with Jones,he might be a fuck up outside the fight arena but he is the best MMA fighter ever and to defeat him this is the best opportunity for Cormier because he is coming after a long break and when he returned last time he was not that fluent against OSP ,so this is the only chance for anyone to defeat Jones and Cormier is the best man to do that as he is unstoppable against every other fighters except Jones.

If indeed if this fight is confirmed, then Cormier will be the favorite on this second fight between the two. I think if Jones chances will not be good because of his long layoffs. He should get at least get one fight before getting Cormier, to better prepare him. Also, the problem with Jones is more on mental so I don't know how will he cope up with the new version of Cormier. I think Cormier will still play the mind games here, because he knows Jones usually snaps with any antics he throw on Jones.

I see website like mmafighting(dot)com also published news that there will be Cormier vs Jones 2. Much that I am excited to see this two great fighters square off, I am afraid that there will be another drama that will surface and have this fight cancelled. I like Jones and I like Cormier but Jone's have too many excess baggage to face that sometimes affects the fight were he is booked.

I hope the fight will push through this time. We all have been waiting for this fight to happen again. Cormier has already swept the division and there is no one to fight but Jon Jones. I don't see Jones winning this if the fight happen. He need some tune up fight before fighting DC. IMHO.

Other

- Cris Cyborg vastly expressed her desire to face the inaugural UFC Women's featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie at this event. However, de Randamie indicated that she would not face Cyborg due to her repeated transgressions with PEDs (despite Cyborg only failing a test in 2011). The UFC decided to strip her of the title on June 19 due to her refusal to defend it and then booked Cyborg against promotional newcomer and current Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson for the vacant title. In turn, Anderson pulled out on June 27 due to personal reasons and was replaced by current Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger on June 27.

- A featherweight bout between former UFC Featherweight Championship challengers Ricardo Lamas and Chan Sung Jung was originally in the works for UFC on Fox: Weidman vs. Gastelum. However on May 12, the bout was confirmed for this event. The pairing was originally slated to take place in July 2013 at UFC 162, but Jung was pulled from the bout in favor of a title fight against then-champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163. Subsequently, Jung pulled out of the fight in early June due to a severe knee injury. He was replaced by Jason Knight on June 6.

- Doo Ho Choi was expected to face Andre Fili at the event, but pulled out on June 14 due to injury. Artem Lobov revealed that he was offered the fight, but declined in order to help Conor McGregor prepare for his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on June 16.

- Claudio Puelles was expected to face Sage Northcutt, but pulled out on June 19 due to a knee injury. He was replaced by John Makdessi on June 20.

- A welterweight bout between former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler and former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Donald Cerrone was originally booked for UFC 205. However, Lawler pulled out to take a little more time after recovering from his previous fight at UFC 201. The fight was then rescheduled to take place on July 8, 2017 at UFC 213. Reports began to circulate on June 28 that Cerrone had sustained a minor injury and that the pairing would be left intact, but shifted to this event. UFC President Dana White confirmed later that Cerrone in fact had a staph infection and a pulled groin, and while the plan was to keep the bout, it wouldn't happen at this event. In the end, the bout was confirmed on July 2 for UFC 214.

- On June 28, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) denied former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao a bout at that weight class against Aljamain Sterling, due to his previous weight issues at UFC 177, in Sacramento, California. The bout will still happen, but at a catchweight of 140 pounds. CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster said that if Barao makes weight with no issues, the CSAC will revisit the possibility of allowing him at 135 lbs in the future.
