^ Please don't quote the OP, it's annoying.

Poor Aldo.  It's time for him to retire now.  And I made a small bet for him too.  I really thought it would be a different fight.  It ended up exactly the same as their last one.  Lol.

My predictions for tonight, Cejudo to win against Pettis and Holloway to win vs Aldo. Total odds paying at -115. I don't have any reasoning behind this so feel free to follow or counter. I'm only betting on this match for fun. I also have the over 1.5 on the Overeem vs Ngannou fight.

Only serp posting picks. A lot of people used to post picks here. Where did they all go?   Huh  I haven't paid much attention to this card. Usually I do research and sometimes I'll watch tape of previous fights to break things down better. This time, I did none of those things and so my picks may not be reliable. Still, if I had to choose it would look something like this.

Quote
Max Holloway > José Aldo
Alistair Overeem < Francis Ngannou
Henry Cejudo > Sergio Pettis
Eddie Alvarez < Justin Gaethje
Tecia Torres < Michelle Waterson

Charles Oliveira < Paul Felder
Alex Oliveira > Yancy Medeiros
David Teymur > Drakkar Klose
Felice Herrig < Cortney Casey

Abdul Razak Alhassan > Sabah Homasi
Jeremy Kimball > Dominick Reyes
Justin Willis > Allen Crowder
Amanda Cooper > Angela Magaña

Like bbc said above, Aldo's legs kicks could make a difference in the rematch. Jose Aldo's coach, Andre Pederneiras said Aldo was injured the 1st time he fought Holloway and couldn't throw leg kicks. It might make a difference if Aldo can injure Holloway's leg and slow down the pace of the fight so he doesn't tire. Otherwise, I think the fight will go a lot like the 1st one did.

@nydiacaskey01. Jose Aldo can if he tries to use all his tools like the leg kicks, his powerful takedowns and also if he uses his head movement more. We did not see any of that in the first fight, and I hope he learned from his mistakes and uses them again.
I think he was having injuries in his last fight and Jose Aldo has to use his entire tools to win the fight,he is concentrating solely in boxing and i cannot understand why is that,i did not see his take downs nor a single leg kick in his past few fights, the only perfect fight i saw after Mcgregor fight was against Frankie Edgar ,lets see how he could fare in this rematch. Looking for Justin Gaethje Vs Eddie and Francis fight.

I watched the weigh-ins and I've seen the frustrated look of Aldo after they announced that he is 146 lbs while the weight to get a green signal is 145 lbs. All he did is remove his shorts and boom 145 lbs. So is he wearing a 1 pound shorts? While Aldo looks upset and frustrated, Halloway looks very tired. Might be because of loosing pounds before the weigh-ins. Aldo needs to win this fight and I guess that will push him to perform better than his past fights.

Where are the UFC fans?  Lol.  This is one of the better events of the year!  Both the main event and the co-main are better than Bisping vs GSP.  IMHO.

Here are the weigh ins.  And for some reason it never gets old.  I still get excited whenever it's available on YT.  Maybe it's because Joe Rogan is on the mic?  Lol.

Here are two of the most relevant pre fight videos uploaded on YT imho.  I won't bother posting the video blogs anymore.  They seem to be more of a nuisance than info giving.

Enjoy!  Wink

This looks to be one of the best UFC cards we've had in awhile. A lot of talent and hot prospects matched up, here.

Notes.

-There is a possibility of Jose Aldo abusing steroids and damaging his body/cardio in the process. Not to imply that Jose Aldo is the only MMA fighter who fits this category. It could be a common thing. If the fight goes past the first few rounds and Aldo starts to slow, don't be surprised.

-Max Holloway is from a town not far from my hometown(s). If he wins I'll be happy.

-Angela Magana used to train out of Alliance MMA. I think she got kicked out of that gym by Brandon Vera after her incident with Cyborg. Could be interesting to know where she trains now and how it might affect her performance.

-Sabah Homasi used to be an erotic male dancer. I don't know if he still does it but it is an interesting career choice.

-Paul Felder used to train at Cowboy Cerrone's Ranch. Then he moved to train with Ricardo Almeida and Mark Henry. Now I think Felder trains out of Roufusport. Whatever he's doing, he only seems to be improving but I don't think we've ever seen his grappling/submission game be tested in the UFC.

I might post a few picks closer to the event, not 100% certain on that.

I don't think Aldo can beat Holloway this time. After Aldo was beaten by Connor McGregor, Aldo is never the same again. His moves are very calculated like he is trying to avoid mistakes all the time making his moves predictable. Aldo should try to get back in his A game if he wants another shot at McGregor. Alistair is huge and spent a lot of time fighting MMA but his challenger is younger with a good fight stats. Ngannou I think will win this match.
