Glad to hear progress is being made. I have not given up on UTC after all these years, and am sure it will pay off in the end.

Can you at least share with us if new UTC will be mineable?

You can see that the same person bought far more than 1m UTC - they made a hit everyday at approx the same time.  Cleaning out the sellers who lost faith.

I feel rather sorry for that seller who lost over 1m UTC in one hit.  Weeping and gnashing of teeth spring to mind.......

The future image of UTC will be based on the immense capabilities of the new platform.  You will appreciate when you see.  Its the next generation of crypto and far beyond.

I really appreciate the update Is more info that it was out there. Understood the arguments.

Important: "Working platform" and "secure". "No ICO stages".

Something to think about is the new image, maybe we can get some new releases on that.

Question - when is the public release? Q4 2018, Q1 2019, etc?

Answer - when its ready.  The team is not working to a timetable - they are working to deliver a product.  A new technology from scratch.  One that works 100% and is secure.  Until we are certain we have this there will be no public release. There will be no release of a half built platform as we have seen over the recent history of crypto.

Is maltipool  miner started mining of coin and good to see ultra coin back to track.

We are waiting, we are waithing. I hope this long wait will pay off, as I hold my UTC coins since a year and a half. Is good to know that you guys still working behind the scenes and even you can't tell much about the direction of the project at least we can know when is the public release? Q4 2018, Q1 2019, etc?

I promised an update this week on progress towards the new Ultracoin platform.




The project is highly confidential at this stage because everything must be in place before release to the general public.
We don't want to get swallowed by some of the large institutional players who have entered this space recently.
What is being created here is VERY SPECIAL.

I can report that:

Solid work continues on the new platform base technology.
Progress is good but the devs are a very thorough and careful bunch.
Thorough testing and further development is still required and other peers have been brought in to assist, test and advise.
Nothing will be released and rolled into Ultracoin until all has been thoroughly tested and confirmed working and SECURE.
Unlike many other new projects in the crypto space - a WORKING PLATFORM will be delivered - not an open promise to develop one as best they can, if they receive enough money from you at ICO stages.
There are no timeframes on migration - the Devs and management team will advise when they are ready. Thats the deal - there is no roadmap with timeframes.
A draft whitepaper on the base technology has been written but it will not be released until this project moves to public announcement.
A team from many disciplines including legal and marketing are working with the devs to put everything in place for public release.
Currently funding is adequate for continuing development - the project is not seeking outside investments.
The main message is - just wait.  Something big is coming.

Sorry I can't be more specific but thats the constraints I work with on this project.

We can wait, markets can't, but we can, so take your time on the developement. Just release some of the important dates on the coin (roadmap).

a good idea that has been working on the market for a long time will always be popular and this is normal. now the main thing is to test how they will resist the new asics that chinese companies are releasing.  they begin to produce something that can be quickly reconfigured if there is a lock.

Hello everyone - I'm almost back in the seat here at Ultracoin.  I'm just getting used to losing 30 DegC from my environment - unpacking and catching up on everything.

Yes - @kiddo - like Bear Grylls but I did it with the whole family - kids from 3yrs upwards - didn't want it too easy........

Have contacted the devs working on the new Ultracoin platform and will give updates on progress from next week.

Rest assured they have been working hard while I have been away and we are still working towards a rollout - but only when they are 100% ready.  As I have said before this is not just another crypto algo - its a whole new world and will herald the next generation of decentralised platforms.  Its a step change to anything else that exists at present.  Bullshit you might say - well just wait - you won't be disappointed.

Please don't buy any Ultracoin - I want them ALL.........at this crazy price.
