A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their vlogs or videos?
Most of the influencer doesn't really care about it as long as they are getting paid, just like most of the celebrities who promotes crypto without proper knowledge they doesn't care about it as long as they get paid for their job.
Surely there are people out there who would be tempted to try out the platform that those influencers are promoting, specially those who would show how easily they are winning tons of money from those platform.
As a grown up we couldn't deny the fact that even if we are aware that those video are fake or just for publicity we still are being tempted by it, so just think how the kids would react to it.

Social media platforms are usually used to promote companies quality and lot more, without social media platforms a lot of companies wouldn't have gotten to were they are now. Some local casinos didn't have the type of quality they have not until dey start using the internet to promote their company quality. Gambling online is different from gambling offline, it more easier to gamble online than gambling offline and I believe you already know why they are different and easy too.

Social Media plays a vital role in the marketing and promotion of most gambling sites and their impact is a highly positive one which is why we see casinos spending so much money to have social media coverage and most of their influencers make all the video streaming and posting them via they social media all do that to build good visibility for them online.
Social Media has indeed covered everything nowadays because everyone is familiar with modern technology and there is a lot of information, marketing and advertising promotions by influencers. Influencers are paid by the owner who tries to advertise the product. He is also paid to promote gambling sites for those who have This gambling site is so that many people know and use the site to gamble. Indeed, the impact that this promotion will have is that small children can watch their promotional videos and it will make children ask whether this is a new game and they may think that it's a fun game and try to download and try to play it.

It's not that easy for children to play online gambling even though they actually think that it's an ordinary game and doesn't cause anything. But still promoting gambling and being watched by small children will have an impact on their dirty thoughts to try the game and think it can make money for them, usually these influencers often make videos that they can win their bets even though in fact it is a setting on a gambling site not an advertisement that should be spread widely via social media that is watched by children, influencers are responsible, they should educate and provide positive insight for fans so that they don't harm childrens future if they get to know gambling.

I have seen lots of influencers promoting scam gambling site, most of them don’t even care to make research about the project they are promoting, as long as they are going to be paid well, then they are accepting the offer, they only care about themselves, and they don’t care about the negative impact the gambling site will be causing to society.

Whenever I see any influencer promoting any project and am interested in it, am always taking my time to do my research before I put my money, I don’t just into it because the promoter is a influencer, because I know all what they care about is money.
What you did is what everyone should be doing. We live in a world where you can't believe anyone, so if it's just an influencer that you are following over the internet asking you to join a certain project or a platform you shouldn't do it blindly and should do your research beforehand. Those who blindly trust influencers and content creators they watch and follow on social media platforms and streaming platforms tend to experience a lot of losses.

So in this case, I wouldn't completely blame the influencers because even though it's unethical for them to do that, it's our responsibility as users to make sure that we are doing things that aren't harming us in anyway because those promoting the platform aren't going to pay us for using them.

In this day and age, most people are active on social media, so social media is the perfect place for them to do promotions and the like. They dare to pay influencers handsomely to promote the casinos they own, and indeed what they spend is very commensurate with what they get. This is nothing new that I myself almost always see promotions or advertisements from a casino on almost all the social media platforms that I have.

The casino will definitely be aware of the potential they can get from social media. I can't say this has a positive or negative impact on social media users, but for casinos this is clearly a big positive impact for them.

Now many underage children are on social media, and I think that might have a bad impact, because they can get to know gambling before their time. The reason is that social media has become a public place that can be accessed by everyone, including children.

That is why children only access their social media with parental supervision as well as when watching shows on YouTube and so on, so that when they see such content their parents can provide the right understanding, unfortunately, many parents let their children enjoy their android so they are not disturbed, this is what I often see around me
Influencers know their target and it is possible that their target is not children because they think the chances of getting followers or new players are small but the real target is adults but because there is no supervision from parents so even children can see the content, that's why we have to take care of our families using adblockers or continue to accompany them when accessing devices connected to the internet.

Math + Code = Blockchain 😁
That is the more reason why gambling shouldn't be hidden from the young ones and most people basically practice anything they see online more especially when they come from celebrities or influencers that is the reason why people need to educate their children with proper knowledge of the things happening around them so that when they hear it outside, they won't be misled or misinformed.
Generally hiding things from young ones is a very wrong move. This is because the younger generation tend to be very inquisitive and therefore will go almost any length to sought for even things you try to hide from them. These things in turn could impact negative effects on them this because in such case they have very little or no experience and therefore could easily fall victims.
Instead of hiding things like gambling from them especially in this era where the internet carries a lot of information, it is better to explain it to them so that they would be fully aware of the dos and don'ts making difficult for them to easily fall victims of situations like gambling addiction.

Well atleast you even get to show interest as for me whenever I see big social media influencers promoting any site or casino I just disqualify it even if am certain that the casino might be good, for me it's just as if am being played on because the people even telling you about the casino actually doesn't even use them and know no shit whatsoever about these casino.

You are doing the right thing by being suspicious about it, as the last person you should take any kind of financial advice is from the person that is trying to sell you a particular asset or service, a decision that can save you a lot of money, as how many times we have seen people come to complain about a casino scamming them, and in this forum that casino had a terrible reputation already? However most people are not as skeptical as we are, and they have to pay the price of not taking a few minutes of their time to do their due diligence.

Well, all of them, due to the business model, are making their way to do many things in favor of social networks, influencers can now earn a lot of money by promoting different types of casinos, but the important thing is credibility, because they cannot be promoting casinos that They are scams because that causes their reputation to fall and therefore their followers will no longer support them. It is also necessary to highlight that Twitter, like Instagram and Tik Tok itself, which is the most viral, is mostly the one that most people use, in fact Personally, I don't use Tik Tok, I have done things but that is something because when I do them it is only to help someone follow it and that's it, then I remove it and the truth is I don't even remember the passwords, because I don't like that social network, But because of how viral it is, it is very necessary to have the news in the influencers and in the casinos.

In the past, I tried looking for a blocker plugin that best suits smartphones today but it's not easy if it's an application they are installing. An example is Facebook, there's really no way to block those advertisements because they are part of the video that was created by the streamers. Sure, we can do the blockers in the web browsers but not many kids use those anymore. They always rely on newer applications that would best serve their interest. TikTok is another example that is so hard to prevent or filter the better clips for kids.
Youtube found a way by creating Youtube kids but when they grow up, they think it's only for babies. Grin
Filtered internet becomes a problem for us adults especially if we have websites that needs access for our jobs and then you will just find out that it's affected by the blocker.
That's right, Facebook is filled with paid advertisements that you cannot block, and sometimes they're malicious as well, and it's not just Facebook but other platforms, like Instagram and especially TikTok. The latter is filled with so-called influencers who are promoting Ponzis, pyramid schemes, fake signal groups, and sports predictions. It's really frustrating because I haven't seen any proper action taken against them in order to effectively protect their users.

I've never fallen victim to their scams, but someone who isn't as knowledgeable about technology can easily be tricked, and filtering such advertisements isn't possible.

Social media is effective in every field today. Technology brings everything to us with a click. Our children may face many risky categories today, including gambling. We need many things to protect our children from the internet. I think we cannot regulate influencers or advertisements. But we can take measures to protect our children. For example, we can use ad blocker plugins. Or we can use filtered internet. But we should only do that up to a certain point. When our children become adults, we should let them be free.

These social media influencers they are role models to lots of fans that believes in them so much and the way they promote this gambling companies,  its just as if they are making good money from gambling and with the love their fans have for them if care is not taking it can just lead them to give a try to see if truly their is money in it.  These social media influencers promote gambling with good confidence like if one should start playing one will start making money.

Promoting gambling is not bad but when promoting it, it is good to let people have a better understanding on how it should be promoted because right now the rate at which people are addicted is very high. It is better for promoters to be open to tell gamblers to play responsibly and with the Amount they afford to lose.

There’s a lot of irresponsible influencers on social media and they are just promoting a casinos just for the purpose of referrals. The social media platforms should filter this one because many are already exposed to gambling site because of this new trend of promotions, this is actually alarming. If you are one of those influencers, better to be more responsible and promote only good site, if you are into just money hope you consider what is the effect of that to others.

There are also a lot of irresponsible people who are using social media, they cant filter themselves on what to follow or watch.
We should not blame those influencers only but we should also blame those who cant be responsible for themselves while using social media.
They cant filter their audience when they are working to promote gambling, but they can give notification or even speech as warning.
We cant control them, they can promote any site, we as viewers are those who should be responsible for ourselves.

I'm not against social media influencer promoting gamble, but what I'm complaining is the fact that, most of these influencer do lots of exaggeration  on the casino or site thus making it seem very easy to make money from. But one thing is for sure, it is left for you to make the decision whether to check it out or just ignore it. But for beginners, they'll definitely want to check it out. However some influencer have lost some of their reputation by just running ads for a low quality casino site.

Understanding what the purpose of companies advertising is to attract many people and get profits, to be able to attract many people and a lot of profit, of course, the company will do tantalizing things with its advertisements, one of which is the easy victory obtained even though the reality is the opposite of that. That is a natural thing because indeed their goal is to make a profit, now if the company advertises with only the usual or monotonous flow, of course it will not attract the attention of many people, therefore all companies must advertise as interesting as possible, not even with gambling advertisements.

Those casinos that place super attractive advertisements by saying that it is easy to get a win will not care about gamblers who lose, especially with a lot of losses because that is their goal. But the company certainly does not force everyone to spend their money on gambling, it's just that I think it's the judges who are a lot of wrong responses to gambling who think that winning is easy to get like in the advertisement, that's the problem.

All these gambling influencers don't care who their audience are, you don't expect them to question each person viewing their content about gambling, they believe that as far as they're getting more audience and getting paid them they're good to go, now I think the social media platforms have a big role to play when it comes to situations like these, most gambling sites have restricted people below 18 from gambling i think the social media platforms should emulate that as well.

Currently there are many +18 rated stuffs ongoing in the media and that's why teenagers below 18 should be restricted from using the media because at that age they could be easily influenced by illegal stuffs, parents also have a big role to play as well, they should put a child lock on their phones to restrict kids from having access to their social media accounts while they're not aware.
