I'm running them underclocked and the reported hash rate is 990 to 1030GH/s.  I originally ran four at d=1024.  Am now trying 256 and adding one S5 at a time.

OK, after adding the third S5 with diff 256, the rejects on the first took off.
Can you PM me your username and I'll monitor what's going on. It could be the miner is slightly incompatible with the stratum server I'm using or vice versa.
PM sent,

I've dropped back to just two Antminer S5 (clocked at 312.5MHz) with diff 512 and they at present seem stable.  Adding a third is bad regardless of diff setting.  The others are back on Eligius and switched Westhash and running fine.  If you want me to add a third again for observation, I'll need a specific time period for it, I've already wasted hours of Hash due to this and I can't keep doing that.

Damn! The major rejects have kicked in again!  Got to drop down to one!

Now down to just one, see if the server can handle that!
To follow up:  With a single underclocked Antminer S5, the reject rate remains high relative to Eligius, but not outrageous.  To try to characterize the overall impact on mining results, with 4xS5 (diff 1024) and 6xS3 (diff 256), my MMpool hash stat was ~5TH/s (I expected ~6).  After removing 3xS5, the stat has dropped to ~3.8TH/s!  Hopefully, you can appreciate my concern, roughly 3TH/s was being whittled down to about 1.2!  Aargh!

Could someone post a few updated nodes? I got a 32bit system sitting here with blockchain not updated since prior fork and i don't want to mess that chain up with the wrong nodes and the 8bitcoder wallet doesn't run on that 32bit system. So in case someone would have some updated nodes that would be great for my case. Thanks.

Click on "Node List" for 0.10 and you'll get nodes recently seen on the network.

Just returned all but one to Eligius (vari diff 128) and those three immediately returned to their roughly zero rejects.  I set the diff on the one remaining S5 to 128 and it appeared fine.  I then added one of the others also at 128 and immediately rejects jumped up.  I think that pool's server is at capacity!  Need more MM pool options!
The pool is no where near capacity. We've had in the past a much higher hash rate that we have now. What hash rate do the S5's have? I'll advise on a difficulty rate to set it to.

Retrying with the same three and "d=512".  Rejects are still high (~10-20%, normal Eligius ~ 0%), but not insane!  Am not adding a fourth with this high rate.  Previously tried "d=1024" and it failed miserably with four S5.
Don't know what else I can do.  S5 just doesn't seem compatible with the pool.

EDIT:  Watching a little more, I'm seeing acceptances for awhile and then then rejects start taking over.  I've got to return the third S5 to Eligius, wasting electricity like crazy here.

I moved six S3 miners (d=256) and four S5 miners (d=1024) to MMpool.org:3333 and I have massive rejects on each S5 (33 to 50+%).  I've tried changing their diff to 512 and also to 2048 and the rejects remain crazy.  It's appearing to me that pool isn't usable by S5 miners.  Any hints on how to solve the problem?

EDIT2: Just trying "d=256" and adding just one S5 at a time to see what happens.

Add 5 more from me. Let's get this party started!

Done!

Primary Translation Fundraising COMPLETE.  60 UNO's.

Any additional UNO pledged now beyond that required to pay the cash portion of the preliminary translation/SEO bill will go to pay Daniel M (should he accept the mission) a bounty once we have CNY/UNO and BTC/UNO trading on a major Chinese exchange due to his direct efforts on Weibo, Chinese Troll Boxes and email campaigns.

So keep pledging more UNO for the Bounty guys.  Can we raise $100 worth? A full BTC worth if he gets us on both exchanges?

Yeah, this is bootstrap stuff, but the potential here boggles the mind if this operation succeeds.  Reach down, count 'em, make sure there's still two, and invest in our collective future like you can taste that caviar and feel that Porsche grumbling through your loins.

This future is OURS to make or miss.  Dig deep.

I'll start again with another 10 kilos for the exchange bounty.

Count me in I have 5 UNO for the bounty!

As merge mine pools continue to add incredible hash to Uno, we will see the closure of other pools that mine Uno directly. It doesn't make economic sense for them to compete against the difficulty that the merge pools throw up. We knew this would happen, of course.  Merge mining was delayed to block 600k to provide a "thank you" of sorts to these pools, who have mined Uno blocks from 1 Un rewards down to .03125 Un/block.

For pool miners and solo miners who want to continue supporting Uno, consider joining a merge pool like mmpool.org where you can mine Uno along with Bitcoin, Namecoin and other Sha coins that support authpow.

Another option is to join a multipool where you you can receive Uno payouts.  The multipool uses your hash to mine the most profitable coins, converts those coins to Uno, and then sends Uno to your wallet.

A multipool worth a look is Jumbucks pool. They have been in the Uno community for months now. You can mine with your sha, x11 or scrypt hash. All of your earnings can be paid out in Uno.

Jumbucks Multipool

If there are other multipools, I would be glad to list them.

Big question is how to translate Unobtanium?

You don't translate it at all. It's a name like John, Marry, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ferrari, Eston Martin, Coca Cola, Mc Donalds, Nike, Alice or Bob. (Brand)Names aren't translated. "Unobtanium" is international name the same all over the world.  Wink

I would agree with this.  Parenthetically, it could be described as BitcoinNational suggests.  (Rare, difficult to acquire mineral, expensive) sort of thing.  Further I would think we would emphasize referring to it as "Uno" making it easy to pronounce.

As to the translators wages, the only way I know to contact him is through the upwork.com website I found him on.  Daniel is obviously not his name but if someone has contacts at shapeshifter.io, perhaps we can offer a non-cash deal.

As to fundraising:

BitcoinCharlie     10 Uno
BitcoinNational    5 Uno
Gekko                10 Uno

Rough budget only is $150, to be refined once we speak to the translator.  First goal is 60 Uno of pledges to reimburse any fiat I must put out.  We are almost half way there.

Add 5 from me, but please don't do anything publicly until we have a complete set of stable and Uno-branded wallets; and merge mining working seamlessly.

With you 100% on that.  The goal is to get everything technical right and fixed (I am useless on all this techie stuff--but this management of marketing/hype...is what I can do).

Fundraising Pledge Update:

BitcoinCharlie     10 Uno
BitcoinNational    5 Uno
Gekko                10 Uno
SirSmokes          25 Uno
Tertius                5  Uno

Total is 55 Uno out of 60

Awesome.  This idea isn't 24 hours old and we have our translation budget pretty much covered and a great candidate for the work ID'd.

Learnminer has been in contact with me and is reviewing my suggested site additions.  If anyone thinks I forgot something let me know.

I am also up for rewriting our intro as suggested by BitCoinNational.  There is nothing wrong with that Bio from the Kiwi Exchange.

But 30 days is too long.  It is not going to take 30 days to fix this techie stuff.  I want to be out of the gate in China 48 hours after we are all happy everything works.

Rather than a contest, all scribes throw out your best shot at 100 words  I will look at all of it and edit whatever looks good into three different 100 word drafts and we'll vote on the winning draft over 24 hours.

We need it way quicker than 30 days.  Let's use the stone soup model to write it.

Somebody give me 5 more UNOs so translation fundraising can be closed.

Thanks.

Gekko

We need to craft a new BIO for UNO, less techie more quick and to the point ... Rare, Fair, Secure, Distributed, Global and here's why in 100 Words.

I will throw down 1kg for this.  30 days contest.  Brief and too the point.  Also basic Englrish so it is translatable.
